so, maan had realised his feelings for geet and even feels he is not suitable for geet . that is sad . definetly , he will realise he cannot loose geet and ill work harder for to make geet his own . waiting for next.

Chapter 15 - I again thought about myself

Since she started understanding herself, she knew only one thing…"Maan…." He was there in her thoughts each and every second…She carried her feelings deep inside, never shared with him or anyone…but then when Dev came in…she wanted an answer about her feelings and she went all the way to meet him….but Maan he refused her love…he refused to see that she waited for so long for him…for him, she is not the girl with whom he will spend his life.

She tried to control her tears…and now…why he is calling her again and again… Why he wants to talk to her.?

Now she has given her word to Dev…and Dad…she just can't face him. He so eagerly wants her to be settled…

She wanted to pick her phone…call him…blast him…and tell him…that he doesn't deserve to be her friend but then she knows she cannot do...she is helpless…she will take whatever he says to her…whatever he does to her, she will take it…she knows it very well by now…she just takes whatever he says to her…

Maan looked at the phone…for last 1 month he is waiting for one call from her and she doesn't want to talk to him….he desperately looked at it again….and came out….

But today, since morning he was feeling restless, he was not able to name it…he just knew he was feeling restless. Something surely is wrong…she cannot be upset with him for so long… It was he who always showed her anger…and she always came to pacify him…..something surely is wrong….

He wanted to rush to Rajani and ask her what has happened with Geet…why she is not calling him.

He saw Brij standing outside…..he gathered all his courage and asked him….

"I want to know about Geet…"

Brij gave him angry look…"Aaj uskee shaddi hain…"

"Shaaaddi…"

"Haan…you don't know….you claimed to be her friend..?"

He didn't listen any more, he just rushed back…ran…ran….till he reached the end….he took a deep breather trying to make sense…trying to remember what Brij said.

She is finally getting married, that's why she is not responding back.

But his heart couldn't believe what he heard. How it is possible…? She can never accept anyone…How he will see her with anyone…

"Maan…this is the truth you have to accept. Why you still want to hear that she will come back…She asked you so many times, now she has taken a decision…"

He was feeling so low…he called up Pammi…

"Pammi….don't ever fall in love…"

"Maan…what has happened to you…you already have taken 1 bottle…"

"Leave the bottle aside….I must tell you, don't ever fall in love…."

"What happened…? Did Suhana say anything…?"

"Suhana…? Who is Suhana…?"

"Maan…..You don't remember Suhana..?"

"Pammi…I am talking about Geet…She told me she loved me since our childhood…and now she is getting married to that Dev…"

"Maan…you are in love with Geet…? But she is not your type..."

"Haan….but then kya faayda…? She is adamant. She is getting married to Dev. She is not talking to me…Now, how I will live without her."

She couldn't control anymore….wk baar baat kar loon…ho saktra hain who kissee musibat main hon…ho sakta hain, he wants me back in his life….

She was suddenly getting filled with hopes…she forgot everything…she just wanted to reach him…ho sakta hain….

She called him…his phone was ringing continuously…..

He tried few times, her heart beat sinking as there was no response…she was almost about to give up…then heard…

"Hello.." but she knew it's not his voice…

"Maan…."

"Geet….Main Pammi…Maan toh behosh hain…"

"Behosh hain…? What happened to him…?" she panicked.

"Geet…today he took more, he was very upset. I forgot to congratulate you…for your marriage…"

She didn't answer; her mind was racing about him….worrying

"Pammi….Maan ko kya hua hain….?"

"Geet…you should know it better. I only know he was very upset…He was remembering you a lot."

She kept the phone, her heart froze…she just could no longer think…and her father came inside….

"Geet, chalo…Dev is waiting for you."

Her tears started flowing…she wanted to run to Maan…to tell him that she heard what she wanted to hear so much…but then she looked at her Dad…who was looking at her with so much love…his heart felt wish is going to be filled…

Geet looked at her Dad, his eyes were filled with all love, happiness seeing his daughter in red attire...but she knew she can't help it...she has heard him...he is in pain, he is remembering her...and she can't marry Dev.

Her tears rushed out...breaking all the walls...all what she had kept inside for years just came out piled up...and she broke down...crying...howling...

"Geet...what happened..." His Dad came running to her, she lifted her head and saw Dev standing behind, dressed up in groom's attire.

"Dad...I can't marry..." she was helpless...she is breaking all his hopes, but she can't help it. She has heard him and she can no longer stay away from him.

"Geet...what are you saying...? Everyone is here...all the guests are here...and then you only said yes..."

Dev came forward..."Let me talk to her..."

She was terrified with Dev's expression but then she gathered all courage...and looked at him.

"Geet...What are you saying...Tum hosh main hon..?"

She didn't speak, she simply kept staring him...He looked at her for sometime...

"Is it Maan...? "

She nodded...

"I always suspected but then you never told me anything..." he restlessly shurgged off his shoulder...moving his hands through his hair and then came closer to her...almost getting in her...

"Geet...why are you telling now...I gave you so much time to decide...I never pressurized you...You cannot do this to me..."

Geet was now feeling hopeless ...trapped and she ran out of the room...to terrace.

Dev rushed behind...but her Dad stopped him...

"Dev, I will talk to her..."

and her Dad went behind her, Dev waited restlessly...eagerly...anxiously.

Maan was still lying on the ground, Pammi was shaking him...

"Maan, get up...Geet called you...She wanted to talk you..."

He was hearing Geet's name, but then he was hardly able to open his eyes...

Pammi then got a bottle of water and splashed on him...

"Maan. ...come back to senses...Geet called you..."

He opened his eyes and looked at him astonished...Pammi was shouting his life out...

"Maan...she wanted to talk to you."

He understood and hurriedly took his mobile and dialed her...waited for her to pick up and then heard....

"Don't ever call her again...she is now getting married to me..."

He knew its Dev...but right now he wanted to talk to her..."Dev...She called me..."

"So what...? stop meddling with our lives...She is getting married...damn it...Do you understand...?"and He hang up the phone...

Maan froze..."Pammi...she just wanted to tell me that she is getting married..."

Pammi couldn't believe...

"Maan...you must have mis-understood, she wanted to talk to you urgently..."

"No Pammi..." and he again lost his senses...

She rushed to terrace...and to the stars...they only understand her...

Her tears uncontrollable...her heart inconsolable...and her mind mist.

Her Dad came behind...

"Geet...yeh kya bachpana hain...?"

"Dad..I love him..." and she hugged him tightly...

"Geet..you never told me..."

"Dad..."

"Geet...but do you understand what your are getting in...He is not at all suitable for you..."

"I am helpless..."

"Geet...don't think from heart...think about your future..."

"Dad...I can't marry anyone when I know he also loves me..."

He kept listening to her cries...her heart beat...her plea...and then decided...

"Fine...If you think so, then go and talk to him..."

She looked at him...unbelievingly...

"Geet...everything will be fine...I will talk to Dev..."

She smiled happily...she wanted to talk to him now...No,...she will give him a surprise by going to Delhi.

Pammi got Maan back home...dragging him...and his mother was shocked to see him...

"Pammi ...what happened to him...?"

"Auntyji...he was very upset...he got drunk..."

"Upset..? for what..?" She looked surprised...Maan toh never get upset..he actually is never bothered about anything.

"Woh Geet hain na...she is getting married..."

"Geet...??"

She was shocked...but then she understood..."Pammi bring him inside..."

Pammi got him inside till his room and then he left.



She came closer to him...anxious...troubled by him.

"Maan...get up..."

"Geet..." he said...opening his eyes...

"Maan...what happened with Geet..."

"Mom...she got married.."

"So..."

"I love her...She also loves me...but then she got married..." his eyes were deep red...he hugged her tightly...crying like a small child...

She could feel his shudders...she felt his seriousness...

"Maan...why you never told me...? I could have asked for her hand..."

He was surprised..he looked at her with dis-belief.

"Mom...You know what I am...How I could have done..."

"Maan...you should have told me at least once...I would have tried..."

"No Mom...I don't deserve her...Please...now what I will do...? How I will live without her...?"

She stroked his hair..."Maan...Now goto sleep...morning we will talk..."

She made him sleep and came out...

Dear.. that was a sad update 😭😭😭😭😭 but I am happy that Maan has realized his mistakes.. He will now try to become responsible and yeah will make Geet feel proud of him.. But how to stop geet's engagement and make her wait for him... he he I know that you have already found a way for that..
