OK so here goes part 3! Basically today starts with Kushi going to RM to resign and what happens after that!

Diwali Night (part 3)- Kushi resigns

Kushi walked in the door of RM. OP opened the door for her as usual. She didn't know why but she got an odd feeling as she walked in. There seemed to be an "odd" silence in the house! Not like there was much noise at RM on others days when she came in, but today it seemed "sombre" was the word!

Just as she was about to ask OP where Lavanya was, Anjali came out into the hall.

"Oh hi Kushiji...you're early today.

Kushi: Sorry Anjali ji, is Lavanya ji still sleeping?

No No.. actually there is something I need to tell you.

Anjali ji there is something I need to tell you as well'.Kushi started, but Anjali stopped her mid-sentence.

The truth is Kushiji' Lavanya is not here.

Oh, did she go out?

No Kushiji, she has left!

WHAT?

Yes very early this morning. She and chote broke up!

WHAT? (Kushi just could not bring herself to say anymore. WHY had they broken up?). Kushi felt something flare up inside her? Was it hope? Hope that maybe Arnav had called things off with La because of'.. WHAT? Because of HER? Please Kushi' don't fool yourself! He probably called it off, coz he didn't want to get married. Maybe finally Lavanya had had enough of trying as well.

Or Maybe' he thought if Lavanya left then SHE wont have to come to RM anymore! What a good plan' kill two birds with one stone? He got rid of both Lavanya AND her on the same day! Well if only HE knew that he need not have bothered? Because she would have made life easy for him by leaving herself today!

She broke out of her thoughts to hear Anjali say'

Yes' it was a total shock to all of us. We thought things were going really well, especially coz even Nani was starting to accept Lavanya'and I mean chote stopped her from going back to England and all that'.. don't know WHAT happened, but Lavanya left early this morning, saying Chote told her that a marriage between them was NEVER going to be possible!

Oh My God' Anjali ji I am SO sorry. I know you did all this to get Nanji to accept Lavanya ji'..

Kushiji YOU have done a great job here! Nani was ready to accept Lavanya. Lavanya had changed SO much thanks to you! She has become so sweet and kind, and generous. (Just like you). She had good qualities in her always, but it's like you bought those things out of her by being with her! She didn't even get angry this morning. She didn't even cry. She was sad, but I felt like she ACCEPTED that she and Chote can never be! She behaved in SUCH a mature way Kushiji. I think she and Chote will stay friends. I just feel sad coz now I know Chote is NOT getting married! I was wrong. I don't think Chote ever was in love with Lavanya! Mami is really upset too, coz she thinks as long as Chote isn't married, then neither will Akash be!

But I am going to have to talk to Nani about this. I need to make her understand that she can't keep Akash in the wings till Chote is ready to get his act together! There is someone Akash likes and I am going to make sure at least HE gets married to the girl of his choice! The good news is Kushiji, I don't think YOU will need to give training to THIS girl! (Anjali had a smirk on her face as she said this)

Really Anjali ji? That is GREAT news! (Little knowing that Anjali was talking about HER sister).

So Kushiji' what is your news?

I was actually coming to say that'well'.. I have to resign from my job, coz my marriage has been fixed!

Oh My God' Kushiji' congratulations! I am SO thrilled for you! Whoever marries you will be the luckiest man in the world!

No Anjali ji'that is NOT possible, because that man is already married! To you! (How ironic is this??)

Anjali came forward and hugged Kushi!

Kushiji I am going to miss you so much. But PLEASE don't forget us when you're married. Please DO visit with your husband OK?

I WILL try Anjali ji. (I don't know if I will EVER come here again after today. I am sorry Anjali ji. You are lovely, but I can't risk seeing your brother again).

Anjali ji I should go now. I will say goodbye to Naniji.

So Kushi goes in and says goodbye to Nani and gets her blessing.

She also says Bye to Manorama who's response is:

Nani turns to her and says: "Manorama, mind your tongue & your manners". Kushi Bitiya is leaving us today and she is getting married. Try to show SOME graciousness, even though I know it's difficult for YOU! Have you not learned ANYTHING from Kushi? It seems Miss Kashap did!

With that Nani tunrs and leaves.

Manorama makes a face and leaves too.

Kushi then hugs Anjali again' and as she turns to leave she can't resist asking...

"Woh Arnavji...'"???

Oh Kushiji' chote has already left for work. But I WILL call him and tell him your news. I do have to get him to write you a cheque as well. I will get it sent to your house by JP OK?

Ok Anjali ji'. Thank you! Good bye'!

Kushi and Anjali both have tears in their eyes as she leaves. (even OP looks sad as he opens the door for Kushi to leave).

Kushi turns back one more time and looks at RM. THIS place will always hold a special place in her heart! With that she turns and leaves, thinking this was the last time she will EVER see any of them again!

Precap:

Kushi picks up her home phone: Hello?

Arnav: In 20 minutes a car will be outside your house. Get into it and come and meet me! Don't even THINK about trying to get away from seeing me, coz if you don't come to ME I will come to YOUR house! And trust me Kushi I will create a scene!

Kushi: BUT...

Arnav: "Aiysa thamasha kada kardunga ke sab dekte rehejayenge" Do you get it? 20 minutes'.

And then the phone went dead! Kushi just kept staring at it! He wanted to meet her? What was going on?
