Jab they met….

In dense forest… near the banks of river Beas… beneath a tree…

CGM [thinking]: Kehne ko toh mere paas sab kuch hai parantu ab bhi mujhe santushti kyon nahin mil rahi hai…??? Bindusara ki chinta mujhe pal pal vichlit kar rahi hai… na jaane usse kab mil paaunga??

[Meanwhile…. Nearby Cornelia also arrives..she is bare footed as she liked walking on the banks of river bare footed… but due to darkness both couldn't see each other…]

Cornelia [thinking]: Pata nahin Pitaji par iss samay kya beet rahi hogi??? Halanki sab unka hi dosh tha… par phir bhi unke jale par namak chidakne se kya labh??? Ek toh pehle se hi Antiochus aur alex ki chinta mujhe vichlit kar rahi thi jo ab ek aur!!!! Duniya ki saari musibatein mere hi sar par likhin hain shayad…!!

[then suddenly few Greek soldiers arrive there..]

Soldier 1: Rajkumari ji… aapke liye Omegas ne ek mahatvapurna soochna bhijvayi hai…

Cornelia: [to herself] Maine kaha tha use kisi ko ye na bataaye ki main yahaan hoon…. Phir bhi agar bataaya toh aavashya hi koi bahut mahatvapurn baat hogi…[then turning towards the soldier at some distance] Laao!!! Hume do voh soochna patra…

[as she proceeds forward, something pinched in her foot due to which she shouted in a low voice]

Cornelia: Ahhh!!!

[This voice is heard by CGM who was sitting under a tree lost in his own thoughts at some distance only ..but hearing the voice he suddenly regains his consciousness back]

CGM: Ye kiski ki awaaz thi??? Lagta hai koi musibat mein hai… sahayata karni chahiye…

[When he reaches near the place where Cornelia and her soldiers were present, he finds a girl bending on the ground sighing with pain and a few Greek soldiers standing in front of her with their swords on their waists!!]

CGM: Lagta hai ye yavan sainak us bechaari stri se durvyavahar ka rahen hain… ye yavan kabhi nahin sudharenge!!!

[Then he suddenly draws out his sword and in few moments only knocks off all the soldiers… Watching this, Cornelia becomes speechless for few minutes with her eyes wide open…….]

CGM[turning towards her]: Dhanyavaad kehne ki koi aavashyakta nahin hai devi!!! Maine toh wahi kiya jo mera kartavya tha….[Cornelia is still dumbstruck] Ohhh!!! Main to bhul hi gaya tha … aapko hindi toh aati nahin hogi na!!! koi baat nahin par mujhe vishwaas hai ki aap mujhe dhanyawaad hi kehna chah rahin hongi …. Hai na????

Cornelia: [in angry tone, almost shouting] Are O Moorkh!!!! Ye kya kiya tumne who sainik mere liye koi vishesh soochna lekar aaye the aur tumne unhe maar dala????Tumhe toh main chodungi nahin..

CGM: Tumhe hindi aati hai???

[By the time CGM was able to sort out his confusion, Cornelia took his sword from his hand and from the blunt base of his sword striked the back of his head and eventually CGM faints….]

[After some time when CGM regained his consciousness, he found himself tied with a tree tightly by a rope and the same girl sitting on a stone with his sword in her hand and an angry expression on her face]

Cornelia: Hosh aa gaya???? Ab bataao…. Kya aavashyakta thi un sainako ko marne ki??? Who bhi bina kisi wajah… logo ki hatya karne mein bahut aanand aata hai kya tumhe???

CGM: pehli baat….Mujhe laga ki who log tumhare saath kisi tarah ka durvyavhar kar rahein hain… dusri baat… tumhe hindi kaise aati hai aur tum ho kaun??? Aur tisri baat… mujhe aise baandh kar kyon rakha hai???

Cornelia: Oh hohoho… toh tum ne meri sahayata ki???? Are tumhe pata hai un sainakon ko prashikshit karne mein kitni mehnat jaati hai??? Aur un varshon ki mehnat ko tumne kuch shan mein hi khatm kar diya??? Aur waise bhi….

Tum hote kaun ho jise main uttar doon??? Bataao!!! Kaun…. Ho kaun tum??? Hunhhh??

CGM: Main….[then thinking to himself] Agar ise bata diya ki main hi samrat Chandragupta hoon toh kya pata ye kya kare … khaskar jab mujhe aise baandh kar rakha ho!! Aur meri talwaar bhi isi ke paas hai…

Cornelia: [thinking] Kahin ye Sandrocottos toh nahin… mere vishesh sainikon ko pal bhar mein hi parast karne wala koi aam aadmi toh ho nahi sakta!!![to CGM] Ab yeh mat kehne ki maine sar par itni zor se aghaat kiya ki apna naam bhi bhool gaye!!!

CGM: aa…aa………aa. Mera naam …a….aa….. Chandu hai!!!! Main … magadh ki sena main ek sainik hoon… Tum????

Cornelia: mera naam…[thinking] agar maine ise bata diya ki main rajkumari cornelia hoon toh pata nahin ye kya karega??? Kyonki ye hai toh bada advitiya yodhdha… kahin mere saath kuch…….[turning towards CGM] Mera naam Helen hai.. Main rajkumari Corelia ki pramukh daasi hoon!!!

[CGM looks at her from head to bottom]

CGM: Daasi??? Tumhe nahin lagta ek daasi ke liye tumne kuch adikh hi aabhushan pehen rakhe hain who bhi swarna ke!!!!

Cornelia: Tumne Greece ko samajh kya rakha hai…???? A…a…a.. Humara desh itna sampann hai ki daas daasiyan bhi swarna ke aabhushan pehente hain….. Waise vastra aur aabhushan to tumhare bhi kisi raja jaise hain…. Sainik to kahin se nahin lagte….

CGM: a…a..a.a.a..a.a.a.. To kya hua agar Greece sampan hai??? Humara magadh bhi kuch kam nahin… aur jahaan tak rahi in aabhushano ki baat to main bata doon ki ….. aa..aaa….. ye….ye...mujhe kahin pade huye mile…. Ye mere nahin..!!!!

Cornelia: [asks suspiciously] Toh tumhe ye kahin pade huye mile aur tumne pehen liye????

CGM: toh kya…. wapas jaakar maharaj ko dene hain.. inhe kahaan rakhta?? isi liye pehen liye….. aur main bhi tumhe koi prashn ke uttar kyon doon??? Ab kya mujhe mukt karogi??? Mujhe wapas jaana hai…

Cornelia: thik hai!!! Parantu ek aakhiri prashn hai….

CGM: kya??

Cornelia: Tumhe yahaan ke saare marg pata hain na???

CGM: Bhala woh kyon???

Cornelia: [hesitates a bit and then speaks] Woh … darasal baat yeh hai ki jab main tumhe yahaan ghasit kar laa rahi thi toh jangal ke kuch adhik hi bhitar le aayi!! Aur wapas jaane ka marg dhyaan mein nahin rakha…

CGM: matlab tumhe nahin pata hum is samay kahaan hain??

[cornelia moves her head to say 'no']

CGM: [shouts] Manasik santulan hila hua hai kya tumhara??? Aur mujhe koi maan chitra samajh rakha hai kya jo iss ghane jangal ke saare maarg jaanoonga??? Yahaan toh main pehle kabhi aaya bhi nahin!!!

Cornelia: Toh chilla kyon rahe ho???? Tumse to kisi sahayata ki asha rakhna vyartha hai… jahaan sahayata nahin chahiye thi wahaan aa gaye apne taang adaane!!! Main jaa rahin hoon!!!

CGM: Are mujhe khol kar to jaao!!!

Cornelia: [shouts at him] Bhaad mein jaao!!!

[walks out of his sight]

CGM: Ajeeb hai ye ladki… ab toh khud hi iss rassi ko kholna padega….

[suddenly a strange voice of shouting comes from the direction where Cornelia went]

CGM: Hey prabhu ab iss ladki ne kya kiya??? Are… wahaan toh khoonkar aadivaasi rehte hain… kahin unhone ise….. kash maar dala ho!!! Kitna chillati hai!! Par jo bhi ho sahayata toh karni hi padegi…

[soon unties himself and reaches the spot from which the voice was coming… and gets tensed when sees spots of blood on ground]

CGM: hey ishwar!!! Kahin maine der toh nahin kar di??? [then shouts out loud] Helen!!! Helen!!! Kahaan ho tum..

[suddenly and unexpectedly a voice comes from back]

Cornelia: Kya hua??? Ab kyon chilla rahe ho.??? Ajeeb ho!!.. jahaan jaati hoon wahan aa jate ho!!!

[then turning back he notices a bunch of men lying on the ground and Cornelia was cleaning the blood stained sword which she took from him]

CGM: In sab logon ko tumne maara???? Akele???

Cornelia: Maara nahin hai… sirf murchit kiya hai… main tumhare jaisi nahin hoon… ab aage saath chalna hai toh chalo varna main akele bhi bahut hoon… ye toh pata chal hi gaya hoga tumhe??? Bolo??? Saath milkar raasta dhoondhoge???

CGM: Thik hai … par uske baad apni surat phir kabhi mat dikhana!!!

Cornelia: Tum bhi koi swarg se utare devta putra nahin ho jo tumhari surat dekhoon!!!

CGM: Toh chalo!!

Cornelia: [To herself] Akadu kahin ka!!!

CGM : [to himself] Ghamandi kahin ki!!!

[both of them then move ahead to start an unusual journey of their life….]

[but in this confusion, Cornelia completely forgets about the important information Omegas sent for her which was still with the soldiers who were dead now!!!]
