Geet (changes into a t-shirt and jeans and while running towards the door shouts): Maa... Maa... Main bahar jaa rhi hoon Maan k saath... Aati hoon thodi der mein...

Rano: Geet... Geet... Itni raat ko akele bahar nahi jaate...

Geet: Maa... Main akele nahi jaa rahi hoon... Maan k saath jaa rahi hoon... Aa jaaungi thodi der mein...

Rano: Ye ladki kabhi nahi samjhegi... Main isse samjhaun bhi to kya...

Meanwhile Geet runs through the main gate and joins Maan who is waiting for her outside...

Maan: God Mishti... Aaj kya "hot" dress pehni thi tumne... When did u get it???

Geet(excited): Haina... Kal main aur Meera market gaye the... We did get this for me as a birthday gift...(winks at Maan)... Now that I am a big girl... I can get to wear whatever I want.. What say???

Maan: No Mishti... On a serious note u can do whatever you want behind the four walls of ur house because I know u r safe from the outside world there.. But outside it u have to be careful.. If u r with me, to chalta hai.. U knw Maan Singh Khurana k saath koi tumhe dekh bhi nahi sakta... (winks at her)

Geet: Haan haan jaanti hoon... Maan Singh Khurana ka charm... Tabhi shayad mere pass aaj tak tumhare aur Meera k alawa koi friends nhi hain...

Geet pretends to be sad...

Maan: Arre mera bachcha... Mishti yaar please aisa nahi hai... I just want u to understand that the world outside is not as you see it... Its very different and I want you to be safe and secure... Bas that's it... Chalo ab tum yahin khadi rahogi ya chalogi bhi apna surprise dekhne... Now Mishti close your eyes, hold my hand and follow me...

Geet: Par Maan aisa kya surprise hai???

Maan: Tum meri baat maano... I am sure u will love the surprise...

Maan drags Geet to his house nearby where in the portico was parked a nice sports bike of "Red" colour...

Maan: Mishti... Ab apni aakhen kholo... I am sure u would love the surprise...

Geet: I better like it... Nahi to tumahri khair nhi hai...

Geet slowly opens her eyes and sees the sports bike... She gets irritated and starts hitting Maan on his back and shoulders...

Geet: Ye kya hai... Mera birthday hai and u gift me a sports bike... Maan main ek ladki hoon... Main bike ka kya karungi... Arrrggghhh... Ye kaisa gift hai... U r such a useless friend... Main kabhi tumse baat nahi karungi... Mere birthday par har saal u get a gift for urself... Birthday mera hota hai and u get the gift...

Maan: Bas bolti hi rahogi ya meri baat bhi sunogi... Geet yaar... Birthday tumhara hai gift bhi tumahre liye hi hai... Tumhi to jaaogi mere saath first ride par on thi new bike on your "birthday"... And yes isn't it your favourite colour... I have just got it for u yaar... And u dnt even appreciate my gift... Bas yehi dosti hai humari...

Geet: Ohhh hello Drama king...!!! Nautanki band karo... Now lets go on the ride...

Maan: But Geet, its late... Kal chalenge... Its late now and Maa and DaadiMaa will not agree...

Geet: Maan please... please... please... when I am with u to koi mana nhi karega... Its my birthday and my all wishes have to be fulfilled... Please one small ride abhi and haan ek promise bhi...

Maan: Waah Mishti... Along with getting a ride that too at midnight tumko ek promise bhi chahiye... Isnt it too much to ask for.???

Geet: Mr. Maan Singh Khurana ye attitude jaakar kisi aur ko dikhana... Aaj Maan ki Mishti ka birthday hai... And all her wishes have to be fulfilled...

Maan: U know how to make me accept all ur demands... Chalo lets get going and on the way u can tell me what promise u want on ur special day...

Maan drives his Mishti for sometime... On the way,

Geet: Maan please kal lets go on a long drive and do all my favourite things... I mean lets go to the outskirts of the city on the drive... Have a nice lunch somewhere on the highway and then have kulfi and chat and golgappe on the roadside somewhere... May b we can go for a movie later... and even to met Meera... I even want...

Maan: Mishti yaar ruko... Itni demands hain tumhari... Sab kal hi karna hai kya...??? Well Meera is not in town tomorrow, she had to urgently go to her home town as her grand pa is not well... She told me to tell u as she was trying ur phone but couldn't get u...

Geet gets sad but then understands that it must have been very urgent that Meera left without even wishing her...

Geet: Hmmm... I understand but then mujhe kal bahut masti karni hai... I want to have all the fun of my life tomorrow... Now u have to see how to make it special for me Maan Singh Khruana...

Maan: All ur wishes will b fulfilled dear... Chalo lets get going home now... Maa pareshaan ho rahi hongi...

Geet: Okkiiieee... As u say... I am sooo excited for tomorrow... I just likeee u sooo much... U r the best... You are my best friend...

Maan: I know... I am just the best... (pulls his collar up)...

Both start laughing and head towards home with the dreams of the new day...

Meanwhile in the office of Khurana and Handa Constructions... Mohinder was sitting with Rajveer and planning on how to expand the businesss... They were the best of friends and worked together in the construction firm... It became quite late for them and it just slipped out of their mind that today was the birthday of their princess Geet... Rano called Mohinder up...

Rano: Suniye ji... Aapka ghar bhi hai jahan aapki beti aur wife rehti hain... Aaj ghar nahi aana hai kya???? And ye kya hai u still haven't wished ur princess???

Mohinder: Ohh God...!!! How can I ever forget... Its my princess birthday...

Rajveer realises the date and the occasion on listening to Mohinder's talk... Rajveer had lost his wife Maan's mother when Maan was very just 5 years of age... He lived with his son and mother in the Khurana Mansion just 5 minutes walking from the Handa house where Mohinder lived with his wife and daughter... even if both the families lived in separate houses no one could ever say that they were two different families... Savitri Singh Khurana was not only mother to Rajveer but also to Mohinder and rano... Since Maan lost his mother he had always seen his mother and motherly love in Rano... He still used to miss his mom even though he had only some memories of her but never showed it to anyone... Rano was the one who realised that the boy missed his mom so she was there for him whenever he needed his mom but still never took his mother's place... Once Maan had asked her if he could call her something which meant same as a mother, she asked him to call her Rano Maa since he used to call his mother "mumma"...

So when Mohinder kept the phone down, he was pretty nervous on how would he make his daughter understand that he had actually forgotten her birthday... Similar were the thoughts in Rajveer's mind because he knew it too that not only Mohinder even he would not be spared for making such a mistake...

Mohinder: Raj yaar... Aab kya Karen??? How r we supposed to rectify r mistake???

Rajveer: I am sure only Maan can help us out with the problem... lets head home as of now and talk to him... I just hope he helps us come out with a solution...

Rajveer calls Maan but Maan doesn't pick up the phone...

Rajveer: Maan to phone bhi nahi utha rha hai... Ghar chalte hain abhi to... Then lets see what can be done...

Both the friends head home...

Maan drops Geet home and goes back to the Khurana mansion... As soon as he parks the bike, he takes out his mobile, he sees a call from his father... He decides to call him...
