Thanks yaar! The wedding wasn't stopped because Geet didn't want to hurt her parents, her nani and Raj. It would have been one thing to stop it the day before but minutes before the ceremony would have shocked everyone.

Ummm...interesting idea of what I am about to write...I won't admit or deny anything but want to say that the scenario you have described is not unrealistic...it has happened before and continues to happen, maybe not in this setting but everyday people compromise on their lives. And it doesn't really mock the institution of marriage because different people have different interpretation of how a marriage should work or the meaning. I don't believe one is right over the other. Personally while I do believe in true love, I don't believe in "one true love". We are capable of loving people in different ways, neither better or worse than the other. So I don't see how the story would mock true love. Well that is my POV😃
