Part 3

Party time pt1

"Wait don't pull it out, I'm not finished with it yet." She said it most seductively to convince him about her dissatisfaction.

He simply smiled, "see it's a perfect fit." He pressed her back against the leather seat of his car as he moved closer to kiss her. Then he pulled apart and felt very lucky to have her in his life.

In return she couldn't stop staring at her possession. "I know it is...leave it please." She insisted like a school child who didn't want to give up her candy.

Her innocent smile always made him weak and he knew he couldn't refuse to that. "Well it's going to come out sooner or later." He gave half a laugh as he gave her a peck on her lower lip."

Yet she wasn't ready to leave it at all. "No leave it please. Few more minutes." She snuggled in closer to him and rested her head on his tight chest. She always felt so protected and into another world when she rested there.

After two minutes he reminded her again. "You know until the official announcement we really need to take this ring off Sheena." He lifted her hand staring at the sparkling diamond. She moaned yet he tried to explain. "We really should go back inside the party."

All she did was sigh, "Hmmm...so still the good guys uh? Still have to go and attend everyone to perform our formal duties." She played with the ring still on her finger. "Can't we stay here longer Sujal?"

"Hmmm... perhaps we can," he thought over something as he bent down lower to reach her. "I'm still not quite sure how good you are." He kissed her.

After they broke apart she licked her lips. "I'm so good." And she kissed him again but shorter than before.

He loved the sound of that as he knew how wild Sheena could really get to when she wanted to. "Especially when you're bad." He bit onto her earlobe and she giggled and then he pushed her down so he could lie on top of her and she burst out into laughter and squeals as he continued kissing her all over the body.

Just then the door of the car burst open and he was greeted with some very bright lights. He looked around and found out that his car stood amidst a lonely lane and the night was very silent outside. Then he turned towards who opened the door and found Sheena stood there with that mean attitude of her's to show how much she did him a favour by accompanying him that night. Apparently good dreams always ended abruptly. Especially the ones he had with her.

Obviously she didn't pay heed on any greetings because that was never going to help. He wasn't going to turn a saint and she wasn't going to be an angel. So it was best that they had minimal conversation.

Sujal noticed how she hadn't even bothered about her appearance which really ticked him off. "Have you forgotten how to dress for high class parties or has your fashion sense died away with your character too?" he said it in the harshest way he could. "You're still dressed in that trash like white dress that you were in the whole day."

Sheena had thought many times after she had got the call that she should go home and change yet he had always been very unfair with his time limits. "Excuse me sir but if I would have known that it was on the contract to dress so fashionably then I would have gone ahead with it." She bit him back and she knew he wasn't going to say anything after that.

As thought he ignored it and commanded his driver to move along as he hated being late. She of course knew he was worked up about the ready answers she always had for him. She knew that he wasn't going to stop until he got his worth but she was also not going to be defeated that easily. She was going to hold her stand most strongly.

The party venue was at this grand hall and it appeared just like the ususal big socialite parties that took place. Both Sujal and Sheena had been accustomed to the atmosphere so nothing surprised them. Not the people, or the decoration or the herding press. The only difference there was that it was a business party so mainly all the business intellectuals met up discussing their different affairs as if that was the most important in life. And of course their women enjoyed the booze and the gossip corner behaving as if they were the most important people in life.

Once again Sheena felt suffocated in such atmosphere as she knew not one of them was real. There was always a mask in front of the real thing which haunted her. She had been fooled herself by the one man standing beside her so she had the experience of them all.

Sujal was busy in his meetings and discussions whilst he made Sheena tag along yet never once turned around to speak to her or pay attention. He almost made it as if she wasn't even there yet it was her duty as his assistant to remain there on his call.

Suddenly he noticed a lot of flashes and heard clicks. He turned around from his conversation and saw her hiding her face from the blinding lights. He understood what happened and he disliked it so he immediately warned the media to stop taking their pictures. He didn't have to say it, his powerful personality and body language was enough for them to understand. They knew not to get under his raft as many would loose their jobs instantly. They all dispersed from there with half already have had deleted the photos.

It rather surprised Sheena as she hadn't expected that from him. At one time he most profoundly took her along with him in public and on the other hand prevented them to know about her and him. She soon found time to talk to him alone once his conversation was over. "What's with the double standards?"

"What do you mean?" he had his drink in his hand and sipped it whilst looking elsewhere but her. He wanted to make her feel that she wasn't important for him at all yet she had to make him very important for her. It was only because of him that she was in that posh party. Only because of him was she able to stand in between all the richness in the country.

She knew very well that he wasn't that dumb to not understand her meaning yet if he asked so she had to explain. "Ek taraf to mujhe sabke saamne apne saath lekar ghoom rahe ho or dusri or dunya se chupa bhi rahe ho?"

He put his drink down and gave her a piercing look. "You really think I need anyone's approval to do anything?" she rolled her eyes. "Main chaahu to abhi isi waqt tumhe sare aam neelam karsakta hoon." He smirked. "And mind you no one will be able to stop me, not even you." He said it so arrogantly that she felt like slapping him. "Yet it's my personal affair which I don't require to become public. I would prefer to leave you as my personal assistant in public and not the woman who is going to share my bed."

The last part really hurt her as she no way wanted to become his mistress or a prostitute which he so boldly claimed her to be as. However right then she couldn't retort back so it was wise to remain mute to think of a sensible answer later.

"Mujhe dunya ki pari nahi hain Sheena." He picked his drink again. "As you can see, I've got the world in my hands." He confidently drank the whole glass. "If I wanted to tell the world then I would have never got you to sign that contract." He put down his empty glass and then went up closer to her just near her ear which made her shudder. His heavy breath over her skin really scorched her and not in a bad way but in a sensual way. Something which, she had loved once upon a time, yet now she hated it. He whispered, "mujhe jo tumse chaheeye wo sirf tumse hee chaheeye." Then he left to mingle into the other associates.

What she couldn't understand was what actually went on in the devious mind of his. Almost everytime he was easy to read yet sometimes he became totally unpredictable. "Aakhir Sujal chahta kya hain?" she asked herself whilst dwelling about the fact that he had already humiliated her by offering that contract and now he refused to humiliate her further in public. It was nothing but double standards and she had always known him to have them. The very reason for why she wasn't with him anymore.

As he continued his business dictations his attention still remained on Sheena. He noticed that she stood in the same place as he had left her ten minutes ago. Of course she was bemused by his intentions. That's what he wanted her to think then she would be more prone and vulnerable. It was true that he didn't want to make their contract public. It was his personal revenge which no one else had a right to know about. Perhaps there would come a time to make it public but right then it certainly wasn't.

Twenty odd minutes later many couples had settled theirselves on the dance floor dancing to a soft number. And it was a coincidence that it was the same song which held a lot of memories for Sujal and Sheena. And both of them thought about the same things whilst listening to it in the background. It was the same song which they had danced to when they had first met.

She couldn't remember when she had agreed to dance with him as the essence of the song had totally taken away her senses. She remembered how it was their favorite song on which both had danced at their first meet. Even then he had most arrogantly asked her to dance and she was so bowled over his amazing personality that she couldn't refuse. Yet now she didn't know why she agreed but she sure loved the rhythm of their bodies moving along together as it had been long since it had happened.

What he wanted her to see was the pain he had gone through all that time she had left him in despair. When he had first met her he had seen so many promising things yet he knew now that he had been heavily deceived. The person behind that innocent pretty face was totally evil who just thought about herself. Yet that song and being close to her made him remember how many times their breaths had become less to enjoy each other's proximity.

Somewhere deep down a little voice yelled out at her to tell him the truth. To tell him how much she held love for him yet his betrayal had ruined everything. But her love for him was something which was buried yet not terminated. Love couldn't be terminated because hate was also a part of love. If she didn't love him then she wouldn't have bothered to hate him so much and give him the importance. Her hazel irises got hypnotized by his dark brown pools as the song ran in the background.

Sujal remembered his dream he had in the car. That wasn't the first time he had had that dream. It had been a long time since they had occurred over and over. Yet whenever reality struck him he saw how bleak it was and total darkness surrounded him. When was the light going to return back to enlighten his dark pathway?

It was as if there still was that one connection left between them which hadn't died down. They still were able to read each other's eyes to understand what took place in their hearts. Right then they could understand that perhaps there was a lot of regret and guilt amidst both and they wanted to forget everything and just get lost into the magic of the words as they had done in the past.

They certainly got lost into the song and dance because Sujal had moved in very close. So close that he was only an inch apart from her lips. She also hadn't pulled back as if she anticipated his touch very much. Her eyes remained closed and her lips remained eager for the encounter.

Yet he would have almost kissed her but once the song was over the magic wiped away and a mirror crashed in front of his eyes where her betrayal became loud and clear. It brought back everything she had done with him and he just couldn't forget that. He abruptly pushed her back as if he had just used her.

Of course it made her think that and at first she just remained astonished with his behavior. There wasn't much time to put her feelings outright because as always he didn't allow her to speak.

"The party is about to come to an end and our job here is done." He straightened his clothes. "I expect you to be in office tomorrow on time." Then he walked out towards the exit and she was left outraged. He had constantly insulted her yet what he did right then was unacceptable. He had totally used her as if she was a call girl.

Outside he had just got to his car when she aggressively tugged onto his upper arm to get his attention. He was annoyed and she looked as if she was going to murder anyone who came into her way. "You can't go around treating me like this."

He had wondered when she would break and there she was. His golden moment had arrived yet he wasn't going to just enjoy it in a jist. "How have I been treating you?" he pretended to be oblivious just to taunt her. "If you're dissatisfied with my treatment then perhaps you would like an upgrade. Tell me how you would like me to treat you then?" he made it sound so dirty that her anger wasn't going to die down at all. That's what he wanted.

"I'm your personal assistant not your mistress." She barked at him forgetting that they were still amidst a public place even if the car park was deserted.

He laughed, "then we can clearly arrange that if that is bothering you so much." His eyes turned dangerous. "Take off your dress and get into the car." He held the edge of it in his grip as if he was going to rip it off right then.

Sheena had just about had enough of his insolence so she slapped him across his face. "Ab tak me sochti thi thori bohat sharaafat baaki rahi hogi aap main Mr. Sujal Garewal." Her eyes were wide to show him how less scared she was of him. "But I was wrong and you've totally become an animal."

The slap had been unexpected yet her anger wasn't something new he had experienced. It still amused him. "Agar sharaafat nahi hoti to kabka tum mera bistar phirse garam karchuki hoti." He also was angry with her. "You should be glad that I was lenient to offer you that condition in the contract. Either way Sheena you're stuck with me until you give me every single thing I want." He enclosed in her to make her insecure. "Either you pay me back every single penny by being my assistant or by giving me those nights." That was all he wanted to say. He opened his car and then drove off have had sent the driver away when they had arrived. He wanted to be alone.

The hospital

The return back to the hospital was very distressing for her. His words and actions ran in her head as if a war went on. She was totally unsure on what to make out of his character anymore. Her eyes were wet with tears. She had braved it till then and had promised herself that she wouldn't cry because of him yet there she was crying and crying.

Her mother was sound asleep yet when Sheena reached by her side she burst out crying. She needed her mother the most right then and she was in a feeble state where it was impossible to tell her anything. What was she to do? Why had fate been so unfair on her? She could never have what she wanted and she was never going to give what Sujal wanted.

Her thoughts took her miles away back to the past as she dwelled over the fact of how Sujal had never been like he had turned out to be right now. She had totally seen a different side to him when she had first met him so what went wrong now that he turned into a heartless human being? Had he always been that way? Yet it had been hard to decipher that when she had ran into him for the first time.

FLASHBACK

Sheena had been invited to a party as in those days she was a real party animal with her friends. She enjoyed the freedom, the booze and especially all the special attention from the opposite sex.

She hadn't been that drunk, only two to three glasses had entered her system yet that was enough to turn her wild switch on. She danced away making every man present there crave for her company.

Just then she took a break to get another drink from the bar around the corner yet she didn't see where she went and WHAM! crashed into someone. The impact was so strong that she was forced to fall on the ground and that too on top of the man she had crashed with.

Of course by habit she spat out a lot of curses yet as soon as she saw those captivating eyes it was like she forgot everything. The man she lay on top of was so drop dead gorgeous that she was enchanted.

The handsome man went through similar feelings as he got lost in her beauty. Their bodies were awkwardly pasted against each other with his one hand resting on her back and the other pressed under her cleavage. Of course he didn't mind the position since the deep neckline of her black halter neck dress revealed a lot to which simply eased his manly urge to devour her totally. Yet the position was also correct since her legs were entagled with his. She was locked just for him.

The busy party and the loud music had disappeared for them as they continued to stare at each other with instant attraction written all over.

However, good things always lasted for a lesser time because someone going to the bar tripped over them. They didn't pay heed to the two lying there since it was a party and mostly everyone were drunk and fooling around.

It brought Sheena's dignity back and she realized what happened. She stuggled out of his grip and stood up straightening her dress which had involuntarily gone way above her thighs almost reaching her waist. She felt embarrassed and then angry at him. "Can't you see you blind fool?" she burst on him to put the full blame on him. "Andhe banke ghoom rahe ho jese ke yaha ke raja maharaja ho." Her list of curses continued.

Amazingly in retort he didn't say anything but let her speak as he concentrated on something else. That was on her sensuous lips as they constantly moved. He so much urged to bite them as if it was a sweet crust.

Yet what happened in the next two minutes was something no one had expected, especially Sheena. He grabbed her and pushed her back against the wall not allowing her any space or lee way to get out. Then he kissed her bang on the lips as if they were long lost lovers.

Sheena was left flabbergasted as to what just happened and the shock of it was to such extent that initially she couldn't stop it. It was as if she had no control and he held her remote where she had to abide. His grip was very strong on her and just didn't let go no matter how hard she worked her hands to get out.
