@all...i know this update is like stretching the previous one...but I have decided for such odd patterns for this FF...i hope its not dis connecting😕

Part 8 :

Mayank came and stood beside Nupur and smiled to Varun and smiled to Nupur exaggerating his smile more to give a clear idea to Varun that all was fine because he had seen Varun looking at both his parents' reaction to each other a little perplexed, only a day before.

However, as Mayank pretended a smile, he realized, looking at Nupur, that it wasn't pretense ACTUALLY. How can he not smile at her beautiful face, which he had vowed that he could look at forever if given a choice. And he still couldn't discard that thought as not valid even now. He wondered if he was being too harsh to her and it was not as if she was the only one at fault. He was too, may be only in thinking or may be in dealing with what he didn't get to deal with earlier too. He now felt suddenly out of place when he with drew himself from those thoughts and found that he was still seemingly 'pretending smile' at Nupur when he was all lost a moment ago.

Nupur though clearly got his plan in faking a smile, knowing him too well and didn't feel like taking part in teaming up here as their team already was 'The Best' sometime without even pretending to. She didn't want to pick up a fight in front of Varun but she didn't even want any fake picture to blind him either.

Mayank, was again dis-appointed by Nupur. Her way of trying to 'get real' in front of his son…their son, was not at all helping her own resolution for which she had called him back. He hated her practicality just now.

Varun hardly noticed the exchange of cold glares between Mayank and Nupur because he was all excited and ready waiting and was for them to hurry up so that they got to the airport im time since they had a flight to catch.

It was easy to presume things from a while for Mayank and Nupur rather than talking things out.

Mayank pulled Nupur into his room while giving her a tour of her 'soon-to-be' new home.

Nupur gasped sarcastically as if scared while he closed the door, but she only knew him too well. He closed the door and tried to give excuse himself with his naughtiness, no matter ow she tried to surpass it with her giggles.

He soon came closer to her and stood very close to her with naughtiness soon converting into a love filled sincere gaze, and Nupur's giggles started to echo in the form of her heartbeat. Nothing beats his sincerity when it came to turn the tables on her.

Mayank knew what affected her and just LOVED that fact about her – however smart she may be but his sincerity which was a hard earned quality of Mayank, always left Nupur speechless and made him love her even more.

For Nupur, Mayank's eyes did all the talking. Whatever he tried, being naughty or sweet or rude or smug, still there was this basic person that Mayank was which his eyes vividly emphasized. The only thing she feared was seeing anger in his eyes or a disappearance of this love for her. She just couldn't imagine how would she live without it now?

Mayank smiled at Nupur and taking her elbow in his hand, turned her around and hugged her from the back while he held her in his arms tightly, trying to give space in his arms to be a part of him while he still managed a gentle hold on her which was tight too. He whispered in her ears, almost kissing it, "I thought I'll try giving you a glimpse of how our life would be soon, with you and me sharing lives with each other" and Nupur smiled at that thought when she heard him add, "And sharing ourselves with each other" She found herself going open mouthed with a little surprise. If she thought she knew him completely, she knew she had to re-decide. He was getting naughtier in the real sense of the meaning, which every now and then had started to put her in a fix. She couldn't think of precise answers to his remarks these days!

Mayank gave a soft laugh at what he saw while bending from behind to judge her expressions and spoke further, "Does that sound bad, my 'Would-be Wife'?" and Nupur looked down embarrassed and he kissed her burning red cheeks. She pushed him away playfully to come out of his grasp and went and stood by the window which had a beautiful view right in the front.

Mayank smiled and stood beside her folding his hands across his chest as he tried to take in her fanciful eyes' point of view for the way the praised the scenario.

The moment held silence, silence of trying to soak in this new feeling of joy of getting from life what it wanted. Silence of understanding. Silence of a very practical girl but still a shy new bride. Silence of a guy in love who knew his life wouldn't be empty again. Silence of love, because it spoke for itself.

Nupur took a step towards Mayank and this time, herself hugged him from behind by reaching out her hands, from below his hands up to his shoulders and kissed at the back of his neck with all the passion that her heart was developing for her new life with him.

He held her hands on him and squeezed it in response and when he felt his passion was not being conveyed, he pulled her in front of him and returned his own passion in the form of a kiss on her lips while he tried to pull her closer to hug at the same time and she tried to kiss him back, best as she could in her sudden numbness due to his complete command over the situation and on her too with her heart pounding heart, certainly not in its right place.

Mayank pulled out of the hug and joined his forehead with hers while he watched her closed eyes with a wait in his own. She opened her shy eyes and looked at his cheeky expression, wondering a little and a little blushing while he spoke up, "Umm…Nupur I guess you took my words a lot more seriously than I meant it to and see the result, your actions demanded a strong response from me!" He winked as he completed his words. She blushed embarrassed but recovered soon and moving away with a jerk she said, "I am not marrying you, you know!"

Mayank pulled her back and hugging and smiling said, "Oh Nupur…that's why I love you so much…you have this varied style of blushing and all your cute reactions for me are pictured for life by my eyes"

Nupur smiled, in-spite of herself and replied back, "But I don't love you at all" she tried to maintain her glare. She realized she has ended up tightening her grip on him even more. There was peace in hearts, there was understanding, care, love and all the necessary emotion in just right amounts.

CJ had called up Nupur after along time.She worked in Mayank's office and being an equally good friend of Nupur, this time she had called with a purpose which shocked Nupur as much as it hurt-ed.

CJ held it important to tell Nupur about the recent happenings in Mayank's life, of which Nupur was unaware of. There was this girl, Ria in Mayank's office, newly appointed who took a little too much of an interest in Mayank.

Npur felt herself going red with anger and at the same time felt insecure.She had never thought that Mayank and Nupur's this phase would bring them o this point in life where she must feel the way she did now. Angry, Jealous for no particular reason, frustrated, insecure and weak.

In a usual case, she trusted Mayank with almost anybody in picture, but his recent behaviour to her had her in splits, considering when she didn't matter much then someone else may?

CJ had, though, also informed her that Mayank had been so lost in himself these days that he had no idea what so ever of Ria's trails to come closer to him but Nupur felt such a fury rise that it almost brought a tiny tear to her eye due to her hyper active heart.

Why wouldn't Mayank realize just anything and keep her at bay?

She suddenly realized she just now felt the need to be in his strong protective and securing arms for re asuuring trust to her. It was he who always made her forget the fear of losing him ever. She needed him and she needed him close enough. But despair was her fate for now.

Quietly remembering their good moments together and ignoring hard, Mayank's coldness which she was now getting used to, she had decided to take things in her stride and had booked the tickets with Mayank and Varun to Gujrat, hardly paying any attention to what Mayank would think and react like.She had informed Mayank and Varun, about the plan in the morning while she had added her pair of clothes to Varun's bundle.

Mayank was then astounded at the sudden emerge of Nupur who seemed as confident as she was earlier, her face depicted a challenge and her her eyes weary, but did she want to spend time with Mayank and Varun?
