Bustling with excitement, a group of people gathered near the main entrance of the haveli anticipating the arrival of the groom party. People knew it was about time and gathered to reserve their spots to catch the glimpse of all the excitement while the family members fretted over welcoming the guests from the groom's end. And then... after several moments of wait, the faint and distant sounds of the drums and trumpets tore through the atmosphere and an excited cheer went around the crowd. The musical sound drew closer and a few minutes later a bunch of people dancing and laughing came in view as they turned around the corner of the street and someone shouted in delight, "Baraat aa gayi"
