Forcing to be married is a really disgusting thing...
The girl is also a human being right...Her view points should matter...But what Khushi did was partially right and partially foolish...Life is not as easy as it looks after all...Arnav did the right thing by following herGood job Sancho👏
Chapter Four: On the right track
'Ghar chalo.'
'Aap kon hote hain hume yeh bolne wale. She pondered a bit, phir se ghar gayi toh Buaji…..'
'Tum kaam karne se pehle sochti toh nahi ho, phir uske baad kya hone wala hain usse darti kyun ho?'
'Aap ko iske alawa aur kuch nahi bolna hain toh aap bolte kyun hain,' she pouted.
'Tum jaogi kaha, mein aakhri baar pooch raha hu!'
'Gussa kyun karte hain, gussa sehat ke liye accha nahi, mein? Mein chali jaungi kaha bhi..'and she stared at the railway tracks.
'You are so…damn it!'
'Get going from here, at this hour!! It's midnight rather and you are on your mission to leave home! Do you think you are someone great? Who can handle of these?'
'Apko meri fikar karne ki koi zaroorat nahi, mein jo kar rahi hoon, meri liye theek hain.'
'Woh toh dikh raha hain.'
She shot him an angry glare. 'Very well then, you think I can't do anything without you?'
'Yes you can't listen Khusi, don't know why you manage to look beyond what others cannot see, and I really doubt how you do that. I am telling you this cause you need to believe that I never meant to harm you in anyway. That day when you said that your family members were planning to marry, I really broke down thinking you….will be ….you will be no where in my life..and trust me, that hurt a lot. So you need to know that cause of your stupid things which may hurt you, I will not be able to stand that, 'he took a deep breath , and realized that he had gone a bit too far, and said, with roughness in his voice, 'so stop being so foolish, get that!'
She kept quite for a moment, did he just tell that he was hurt when he heard about her marriage, and yet again, the Arnav Singh Raizada was back. She was too stunned to react. 'What do you expect me to do now?' She asked innocently, confused what he actually wanted.
'Well, you need to go back home right now. It's probably 4 in the morning, come let me drop you.'
'How did you reach here.'
He signed. 'My bad inhibitions, someone was peeping out of her house when I was passing by and strangely I had to follow her, for no reason.'
She opened her mouth which turned into a big O. 'You followed me, 'and she giggled.
'What makes you laugh?' He looked at her amused.
'No, I am not laughing, 'she giggled yet again.
He concentrated on the road. It was strangely quite today. Maybe it was an odd hour. Still a long way to go to her home. He wandered how this girl sitting right beside him managed to make him insane every time. He couldn't have imagined in his wildest dreams that he will be following a very girl who belonged to the low class people in his definitions , and he would be really confessing that the very thought of not having her in his life scared him.
He looked at her, she tilted her head to rest on the window and was having a peaceful sleep. Merely two days before she was overjoyed to think that they would never meet again. And here they go, met everyday since she resigned.
What does she do, in home? He thought.
It was half an hour when he realized she was sleeping on his shoulders and her warm breath sent shivers down his spine.
Does she feel the same?
No she doesn't. Stop acting all foolish Arnav.
Through the cold streets of Delhi, he increased his car speed, careful enough not to wake her up and get her frightened. He has to take her home before her family members make a chaos.
'Khusi,' he gently called out.
'Yes, are we home, 'she drawled.
'Yes, take care.'
'I will,' she assured through her eyes and headed home.
It was early morning; luckily family members were not awake.
She tiptoed to her room, and saw Payal clutching her pillow and smiling.
She giggled at the sight.
She quietly kept her bag and headed to the washroom. Iss baar uss lard Governor ne bacha liya Khusi Kumari Gupta.
Arnav hurried to Raizada Mansion, worrying to what to tell Di. His sister can easily increase her pressure by worrying enough for her careless brother. They shared a great bonding. With no elders around, they did have a lot of fun.
Their house was old fashioned, with baroque designs and heavy colossal furniture.
The wooden staircase led to the sibling's rooms while the others remained locked. Their one and only companion was their old Jai Prakash. They called them JP. He has been living there since they were born. When their parents flew to States for their business, leaving the kids with JP, he had grown a strange affection from them.JP lived in the farthest room downstairs.
Arnav found Anjali cutting veggies in the kitchen, humming "Moon River" by Audrey Hepburn. One of her favorite albums, mood must be better, he mentally thought. He tiptoed to her and hugged her from behind.

'So my brother did find some time from his official work?'
Yeah, official work, bringing Khusi Kumari Gupta on the right track, he mentally noted.
'What's the matter,' she asked.
'Umm, nothing, meetings, and had a talk with dad, most probably coming here in winter. It will be great fun, 'Arnav sounded as if he was lucky to talk to him, a glint of joy in his eyes.
'Don't think I didn't think to him, I talked with Mom, Anjali said with a naughty smile,' considering herself luckier.
'Anyways, I thought your office was merely 45 minutes from here, when did you shift your office to Kanpur?'
'Di, I am very hungry, why don't you bring some breakfast?'
'It's 7 at the morning, JP has gone to market, have you lost it, Sunday Breakfast at 7?'
'Yeah, okay fine, I better go and have a change…'he trailed off to some thoughts.
'My silly brother,' Anjali teased.
'Stopped teasing me Di,' and he rushed to his room upstairs.

'Sanka Devi, jhooth mat bolo, tum raat ko bahar thi, kaha thi tum?'
'Meine bolana Buaji, mein ghar pe hi thi, sirf kamre mein nahi soyi, who bohut garmi lag rahi thi.'
'Octuber ke mahine mein garmi, accha mazak hain!' Amma mocked.
Payal came and dragged Khusi, Amma, 'hum thori der ke liye bahar jaa rahe hain, shaam ko laut ke ayenge.'
Amma smiled and handed her some cash.
Khusi smiled at the mother daughter bonding. It was so very pure. But somewhere, deep down in her heart, behind all the happiness on seeing them, it itched. If she would have told the same thing to Amma, she would have blown her off, mocking her! She underestimated the fact and left with Payal. A whole day out with Payal
Will help her relax.
They went through the dusty streets of Delhi and roamed about, had a few chats and giggled. Sunday outing for them. Khusi seemed lost in her thoughts most of the time. Did he really care for me?

Precap:
How did she know English, Arnav curiously looked at her.
Tumne kuch khaya hain kya?
Ji, woh, mein bhool gayi, she cutely smiled.
For once, he forgot who he is or and where they were standing. The only thing that mattered was her.
The old man was utterly confused. Once, they were fighting over the money and then, here they were, smiling and staring at each other!!!
Ahem, the man put his voice to work.
