I thought I would take this opportunity to reveal myself... don't they say first res posts are more often seen well here is my post to future familiarity 😉 (i know i didnt make sense there oh well... 😆)

let me shut my verbosity and get right to work...

I came upon your ff by chance. Thanks to my random browsing stalking skills. I was going through a random person's posts when I saw your thread topic and the title caught my attention. I started off with the first chapter and was kind of disappointed with no character sketch. Usually I proceed only if the characters interest me. But in your case I decided why not give it a shot and I must say kudos to my decision for this is one the THE BEST... hmm scratch that not one of this is THE BEST story I have come across focusing on my favorite jodi.

I always believed that giving character sketch spoiled the characterization which needs to be realized via story telling and not writing about it before hand. But that's just me.

although I got hung up on the first chapter for it did seem a little confusing and made me jump to your last update until yest (chapter 12). But once I read that chapter I had to go back and read all the 12 chapters in one shot.

it was SHEER BRILLIANCE... well i guess that would be understatement... but english language has given us only some set of words for praise and we have to mix and match... so i am running short of words... but if you ask in sanskrit.. TathA kathAmrutasya atIva sundaram iva kundasAmanam...

Translation: This story of nectar is extremely beautiful as if like the white jasmine buds

the characterization as well the grip on the storyline is absolutely taut and to the point. the weaving of the story along the complexity of the characters has kept me as a reader always on the edge. I usually try to imagine a character while I read the story but to tell you the truth I have been unable to clearly get a picture of the character's to associate them with people i have seen to give those characters a face. No, thats not bad, it shows the complexity and depth of character. Each update something new pops up making me erase whom I had imagined for a particular character...

That is what characterization is all about, I suppose. You can put in any face to these characters and it will still work.

Currently I short on time to give a detail report of each update so far. But all I can say is its simply brilliant...

Oh I had to mention this the last line did make my heart crunch hmm is it wrench... well whatever I cannot describe it... it must be crushed 😕. I could definitely feel the pain in Maan's words well shouldnt I feel more bad that he himself chucked away his life to that girl Kiki. Well I dont know and I hope I am hoping that he realizes what he means to Geet.

If you are feeling sorry for Maan, then I am glad that you feel so. Because up until last update everyone here was kind of annoyed with me for turning him to something they did not wish to see. The character is evolving and this chapter is the turning point for that change.

Damn I so loved Geets outburst. Its sad though. I mostly feel it all the more when a strong woman such as she, falls for someone who doesn't quite measure up, you know.

The loneliness is still the same , but it manages to creep a little deeper inside with the sudden hollow feeling. Lighter but colder.

Its not exactly abt the perception of Maan...they are ur characters and you get to play with them - its more about what we, as girls, would like to hope and see for Geet - a person who understands/respects/loves/stands by her at all times and acts as a support - even though she might not need one...Should I believe, and this is valid for any Man, that you look forward to being somebody's man and yet you carry on with your flings with a sorry excuse of a past life and making your own decisions? !!

I was merely suggesting that irrespective of what his past is the actions of the current personality is affecting Geet. Yes, at one point he did tell Satya that he wants to be with Geet. But he thinks that he has found someone better than Geet and with who life is much less complicated.

Question is - is he still looking for a happily ever after with Geet! 😆 😆 😆
