BTW I am wondering something: Can tailors in India (not from Lucknow) do chikankari if you ask them to customize it?

I have a few things in mind...Like an anarkali style dress that you can wear to work minus the gota and gold zari...so was thinking of the tailors could do chinkari and maybe embroidery with pearls maybe?

i dont think tailor per se would do it..but there are people..who do embroidery work..and do the motifs of chikankari..which is a speciality

boutiques would have that ability..
