It was hard for Geet to stay without Maan.. days went by as Geet started to spend less time with her family and more time in her room with her memories of Maan ... Vicky, dev and naintara came into her room most of the time with food... they stayed with her till she fell asleep... half the time she would imagine Maan in their room and when she went closer to her he would disappear. She would hold Maan's shirt in her arms and cry... she cry and shout his name... she knows it was vital to look after herself during these days but not having her Maan with her was just torture...

Soon days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months... suddenly she was nearly 9 months.. months went fast.. Maan should be home soon... just 2 weeks and he will be back... how she stayed without Maan or soo long was strange... she missed him soo much, she'd cry every night holding his shirt... she was inally happy that her Maan would be coming home soon... she had started to stay with family more since she hit her 7 month o her pregnancy.. she would laugh alot and be happy.. she'd talk to her baby everyday. Talk about how she met his papa... and how brave he was... she was happy ..

One day she was in the kitchen making herself some food as she heard the door.. Vicky went to answer it and Geet walked along Dev and stood behind him .. there stood and two army officers... in their hands they held a hat..

As soon as Geet saw it she whispered Maan... She held her stomach but still kept her eyes on the hat...

Vicky – aap... Vicky said unsure of who it is..

Army1 – hello... can we come inside...

Vicky – sure he said as he led them to the living room where Daadi was sat with Naintara...

Army2 – we have something we'd like to tell you...

Geet held Dev's hand as she was staring at the hat...

Geet – Maan she whispered again...

Dev turned to Geet and squeezed her hand back... he smiled and turned back to the army officers..

Army1- im sorry lekin we have some bad news..

Daadi and Naintara were panicked...

Daadi – B...Bad News?? Kaise Bad News??

Vicky was shocked and Dev was upset... Geet Started getting pains in her stomach as she ignored the pains she kept her focus on the army officers...

Army2 – Maan ab is duniye main nahi raha...

Geet – Nahi... she whispered as she let go of dev's hand and brought her hand to her stomach holding it as the pain spread... her eyes widen and she scrunched her kameez in her hands...

Army 1 - humara base main bomb lagi thi aur Maan vaha tha.. humne 2 din se try kar raha hai ussi doondne ki liye...

Daadi – nahi... Maan aise nahi ja saktha... she cried...

Army 2 - jab humko yeh hat milla au uski wedding ring... im sorry he said again.. as Daadi burst into tears and Naintara hugged her... Vicky ran to Geet.. he saw the pain in her eyes and looked at her.. she was clutching her stomach ... she closed her eyes and saw her and Maan stood together holding hands.. slowly slowly Maan started to wake away ... their hands that they held together tight was now becoming loose and that when she felt his fingers slip away... That was all that happened until Geet screamed ...

Geet – Maaan!!! She screamed holding her stomach with both hand and she fell to the ground in pain letting the blackness take over...

Dev, Vicky, Naintara and Daadi ran to her..

Dev and Vicky took her to the hospital and waited after 4 long hours Geet gave birth to a boy.. this shock triggered Geet to go into deep pain in her stomach and as an emergency they had to deliver this baby... she screamed for Maan and cried for him.. she wanted Maan... after she delivered the baby Geet went into shock for 2 whole months...

After that slowly slowly she started getting out of her shock... she told Daadi that she was never going to forgive Maan for breaking his promise... his promised to come back to her.. Come back to his son.. his baby ... he didn't fulfil his promise... she was never going to forgive him... months went by and she continued to miss her Maan...

Now she had been without her Maan.. she never got over the fact that he left her.. he didn't fulfil his promise... but Maan had promised her.. he would come back.. he promised... he had to come back... he wasn't going to break his promise ...

Now Armaan was her life.. she had to live for Armaan.. Armaan was Just like Maan... he had exactly the sme features of Maan... and she waited for Maan to come to her... every night Geet would put Armaan to bed and would tell him a new story about her hero... her Maan... she put back his shirt and She went downstairs to give her son the milk...

she went into the kitchen and warmed up the milk and came into the living room... Vicky Dev and armaan was still watching telly...

Geet – Maan she called ...

Armaan – haan mamma...

Geet – here your milk... she said..

Armaan got up as he heard the name milk...

Armaan had a mischevious look in his eyes as he ran... this was routine... how she wished Maan was here right now. He would tell his son off, but then again he wouldn't.. he would probably join in ...

Geet – Maan tum ... Drrinkk the milk... she said running after her son...

Armaan – haha he laughed as he ran around the table... Catch me mamma...

Geet – Kya... Maan ... thats it... she ran around the table as he ran to the sofa... she ran towards the sofa as he then ran to the large pillar. As she was running to the pillar he ran near the table and then the light went out.

Geet stopped as she knew her son was scared of the dark...

Geet – Maan... she called...

Armaan – mamma .. he said scared.. mujhe dar lag raha hai/..

Geet couldn't see anything ... she moved her hand around to find a table and put the milk glass down... she moved ahead trying to search for armaan.

Geet – Maan kaha hai tum.. lights chali gayi hai...

Armaan- mujhe daar lag raha mamma... please yaha aao na...he said as he cried... Mamma...

Vicky – Geet tum kya kar rahi ho.. he said worriedly ...

Geet – Vicky armaan ko dar lag raha hai... please... use doondo na...

Dev got up...

Dev – Geet main generator on kar daitha hoon.. tum tension mat llo...

Geet – haan jaldi.. Vicky tum armaan ko doond ho na...

Vicky – haan.

Geet slowly made her way around without hitting anything./..

Geet – Maan – Mamma aur mammo tumhe doonde raha hai... tum daro mat...

Vicky – haan Armaan.. tum tho itna brave ho..

Armaan – H...Ha.. Haan... Main.. B ... Brave Hoon.. he said to himself...

Vicky – haan.. tum tho Maan singh Khurana ka beta hai.. hai na...

Armaan – haan – ma... main papa ha beta hoon.. he said whimpering as he was still scared...

Geet – Maan Keep Talking na... she said as she walked around to find him... she tried following his voice ... thats when she stopped...
