There she was in the kitchen, making her two year old son his milk... Armaan singh Khurana he was called.. she called him Maan for short.. Maan was sat down watching his favourite program Ben10... he loved watching this.. he'd sit here with his two favourite uncles... Vicky Singh Khurana And Dev Singh Khurana.. Vicky Was his mamma's Best Friend.. he ad known he since they were in high school together... Maan looked up to his uncles who he absolutely adored.. Armaan or as Geet called him Maan had never seen his dad but he never asked about him either.. but he knew his dad was a hero.. his dad was the best dad ever.. he was brave...

Armaan - mammo.. mujhe chocolate khana hai... he said to Dev... he called Dev his mammo onlt because he'd call himself Geet's big brother..

A voice stopped Dev from answering... this was not just any voice.. it was his mamma's voice.. this was Geet's Voice...

Geet –Maan... No Chocolates.. she said softly..

Armaan - lekin mamma... he started off sweetly.. mujhe khana hai...

Geet came to armaan.. she sat on her knees and held his face in her hands softly... he looked like his father... a spitting image of Maan Singh Khurana... she smiled as tears became fresh in her eyes..

Geet – tum pehle dood pelo phir main tumhe chocolate kila duengi..hmm she said..

Armaan moved away slowly thinking.. he sat with Vicky well more he sat on Vicky with his arms around his neck whispering something... he then looked at his mamma and smirked...

She gasped as she saw him smirk like that...

Just the way Maan did... she went upstairs unable to control her tears...

There she was standing in her bedroom looking over and her wedding album.. pictures with her and her husband... she knew she meant the world to him. And in this world, he would never leave her.. but what if he did.. what if one day, you had army officers come to your doorstep and tell you something that would shatter you. Geet was heavily pregnant when she found out .. she was just about 9 months. She had two weeks left before she was due.. her husband was an army officer.. he'd left for duty the same day he was told he was to become a father.. she had been downstairs watching her favourite film with her best brother in laws.. Vicky and Dev.. they spoilt Geet to the max knowing their bro Maan wasn't here.. they made sure they looked after her well.. she smiled as she remembered his last day with her...

Flashback -

maan – Geet tum kaha ho.. mujhe jaana hai.. he said as he looked for his wife ...

he knew his Geet was upset.. she didn't want him to go... she had just started enjoying life with her husband.. and then all of a sudden he was called for duty.. not that he wanted to go.. ofcourse he didn't, but what could he do.. he promised her this would be the last time he went... ...

Maan – Geet please... kaha ho tum... he went into their room and there she was sat on the bed with her back towards him... she was happy today she just found out she was pregnant.. her reports came from the doctors and confirmed she was 3 months gone already... 3 months... she planned to give her Maan the suprise.. she had everything planned... the house would be empty.. she's cooked dinner.. her bedroom was done up romantically with rose petals and scented candles all over...

But then her suprise got ruined... her happy moment turned into a dull sad moment... she sat crying on the bed... Maan couldn't stand her tears.. they were worse then getting shot at... his heart hurt and bleed when she'd cry.. he'd do anything to make her stop... he sat on the bed gently and turned her around ever so softly... tears stained her face.. he lifted his hands to wipe away her tears...

He brought his forehead to hers and they both softly touched ... she had calmed down... she lifted her hand to touch his face... she moved her head back slightly so she could have a look at him before he went...

Geet – i'll miss you Maan.. she said slowly tears threatening to poor down her face...

He looked at her with emotion and love...

Maan – i'll miss you too mishty... he said as he placed a kiss on her forehead... i'll miss you more than anything in the world Geet... he whispered...

Geet – Maan... do you have to go?? She asked hoping he would change her mind...

Maan – haan Geet.. i have to go.. but i'll be back i promise... he replied sweetly and truthfully

Geet – promise she said as she tilted her head to the side as a little kid...

Maan smiled at her gesture and laughed alittle...

Maan – promise he said.. and Maan singh Khurana keeps his promises...

Geet rolled her eyes... she smiled at him and stood up. He stood up at followed her... they stood just outside their bedroom door.. she stopped him and immediately hugged him.. she cried hard as she pulled him closer for a hug... this time he let his emotions run.. he cried with her and he cradled her head towards his chest. Hugging her tightly... he broke out of the hug and looked at Geet. She was still crying.. he bent his head towards her and placed his rough lips against her soft ones and kissed her.. his tongue immediately went into her mouth playing with hers as he deepened the kiss both were getting out of Breath.. she broke out of the kiss and he wipe her face and kissed her head...

They both walked down the steps hand in hand looking at each other lovingly... he went to the door and saw his brothers there.. Dev was stood with his wife and Vicky was stood with daadima... Geet stopped and she held Maan's hand..

Geet – Maan i can't come with you to the airport... she said sadly..

Maan – But Geet... he looked in her eyes

Geet – please Maan. Mujhe himmat nahi hai.. i can't see you go Maan... i can't.. she said crying bitterly...

He closed his eyes... he didnt want to see his mishty in tears.. he was hurt but he understood that she would completely break down and if she did he wouldn't be able to go.. but what could he do he was selfish.. he wanted to spend the car journey there with Geet..

Maan – its okay Geet... i understand... he said sadly...

Vicky then called out to him saying it was late and they had to go..

Geet held his hand and said i want to tell you something...

Maan – kya?? He said tearfully..

Geet brought his hand and placed it on her stomach...

Geet – remember your promised Maan.. you'll come back na?? She said..

Maan – haan Geet... tumhara Maan wapas lout kar aayenga... promise kiya hai apni Geet si... kaise nahi auenga,. Hmm..

Geet smiled as she let her tears flow down her face...

Geet – tho phir teek hai... you have to come back for me.. for your Geet... Maan. For your baby she whispered...

Maan didnt catch on...

Maan – haan baby ill be back...

Geet – Maan... you be back for us two won't you...

Maan – haan Geet i'll be back for our relationship.. for us...

Geet was getting frustrated now.. she was trying to hint out she is pregnant but her duffer husband didn't catch on.. she just told him then...

Geet – Maan ... tum pagal tho nahi ho na... kab se tumhe kuch batana ki khoshish kar rahi ho magar aap.

Maan – kya Geet.. maine kya kia..

Geet – Maan you idiot... im PREGNANT!! She shouted...

Maan was shocked.. this wasn't something he expected...

Geet – i'll have your baby to keep me going Maan... so when you come back, there will be me and your baby... a little Maan... she told him with tears in her eyes ...

Maan – sach?? He didn't believe it...

Geet - haan Maan she replied.

Just then he grabbed her and twirled her around in his arms as the family members looked on...

Maan – ab main wapas auenga ... tum dono ki liya.. he said and he kissed her belly and then kissed her... i love you Geet.. i love you soo much ... promise me you won't cry Geet...i

Geet – i promise... i love you too she whispered against his lips... as she kissed them one last time...

she then watched him go as she stood with her sister & best friend Naintara...

i love you too she whispered...
