New FF: Kismat Konnection:Ch.10 posted in Pg.25

- Payal Di, that night. Was a nightmare for me. - I said.

- Khushi forget about that past. That was 6 years ago. - She said calming.

- 6 years ago is not a long time. It haunts me. I cant forget it. - I said lost.

- Khushi if you cant forget that night. You will never move on. - She answered.

- Payal please. If you were in my place you would understand. - I said angrily.

- Khushi calm down. You already have responsibilities. Go pick up Meethi. - she said.

Meethi my jaan. Meethi means everything for me. 6 years ago I thought I had no place to live. But after Meethi she was the world to me. The only reason I'm living is because of Meethi. 6 years ago I had lost everything. But Meethi gave me everything. She's only 5 years old. My sister, friend, girlfriend, mom, dad and daughter. She's very understanding. She can understand me.

At Meethi School:

5 minutes more and than Meethi will be out of school. This was my everyday time. I wake up early in the morning. Make breakfast and shower. Than it's Meethi time. I wake her up, feed her, shower her and do her hair. And she's off to school. Than I come to pick her up.

There I saw Meethi. Her pretty hazel eyes. Her black hair in a ponytail. And her backpack in her back. Meethi always stayed happy. She was never sad. She cant bare to see anyone sad. That's my little girl.

- Ma. I love you - she said hugging me tightly.

- I love you too Meethi. Come on lets go home - I said picking her up.

- Ma. Can we go eat out today. I have good news to tell you. - she told me happy.

- Good news? What good news Meethi? - I said thinking.

- It's something Ma. I'll tell you home - she said smiling.

At Home:

- Come on Meethi. You have to eat. - I said.

- Ma. I don't want saabzi and roti - she said whining.

- Meethi come on. I gave you pizza yesterday. - I said mad.

- No.No.No. I want PIZZA!!!! - she said angrily.

- Meethi don't show me this attitude. Or no chocolate for you. - I said in a tough voice.

- Chocolate! Okay ma. Only 1 roti for me. - she said happily.

- Naughty girl. Chocolate your agree with anything. - I said smiling.

- Ma. Can I have chocolate now. - she said quietly.

- Meethi! Finish you roti than. - I said feeding her.

- This will take forever. Give me a big piece. - she said demanding.

- Your going to choke after Meethi. Please listen to me. - I said.

- Okay Ma. Payal didi? - she said.

- She went shopping. - I told her.

- Shopping without me. But she always takes me. - She said.

- I thought you had good news to tell me. - I told her.

- Yes I do. Tomorrow is Parents Day. Can you tell papa to come back home. Please?? - she said sweetly.

I was in deep thought thinking how will he come. I didn't even tell him he has a kid name Meethi. How will he react. Till Payal Di came back home. She seemed so happy after shopping.

- Khushi what happened? - she said worried.

- Meethi asking for her father. - I told her biting my nails.

- Khushi I told you. That Meethi would ask you. She's a smart kid. - she said.

- Payal what do I know. I'm only 24 years old. I don't now anything about parenting. I was pregnant when I was 18. So what do you expect. - I told her.

- Khushi I know. All you can do is to ask him to come for a few days for his daughter. - she told me.

- He doesn't even know that he has a kid. I just cant go up to him and tell him you have kid name Meethi and she wants to meet you. - I told her thinking.

- Well know you have to Khushi. Your break Meethi heart. - she told me.

- What will Shyam think? No way I cant go. I cant tell him that Meethi wants to meet her father. - I said worrying.

- Khushi please. For Meethi sake. You love her right. - she told me placing her hand on my hand.

- Payal you're the best sis I can have. You were always there for me. I love you a lot. - I said smiling.

- Give your love to him not me - she said winking.

- Payal. He doesn't deserve it. What he did I cant forgive him. - I told her mad.

- Sorry baba. Look I made you mad again. Go to Meethi. Before she starts whining and destroying our mind out. - she said laughing.

- Alright Di. - I told her hugging her.

I was off to my room. I had to go meet him. I never wanted to meet him. But for Meethi sake I have too. Meethi happiness is my happiness. Khushi was about to go to Meethi room until her pager rang. She had to go back to the office pronto. She had to go to Mumbai urgent. Mumbai the place that haunts her. Is Khushi ready to back Mumbai where her past lies? The bitter truth of Khushi. The effect on Meethi.
