Well I have been a little too careless not referring back to my notes and yesterday's comment was a mess up. I can't help, but sure will write down my thoughts Aarya.

The artist has known Sasha and Anjali for a minimum of two years, going by the timelines. Anjali came into Geet's life, two years ago, after moving into the new apartment. If Anjali joins them for the phuket trip and Sasha dies, two months after the trip, then this confirms the artist has definitely known them for that period of time.
If the vase is from phuket trip there is a strong likelihood, the artist was there in phuket too. So this rules out, artist as the man who was inquiring about Mal and Geet in the college campus around that time.

The killer (artist) is now in open, he finally gets his first real kill, but yet I fail to understand his motives? Is he just a serial killer or there is some personal gain to his killings?
The killings are personal, no doubt. The key to the motive (really there is no need for motive in a case of psychosis) from artist perspective is in the delusions he has, which Sooks is yet to reveal.
According to me, the killer is going based on this "those who beneath the earth punish whosoever has sworn a false oath" Since he calls, Anjali Megaera, Sasha becomes alecto and tisiphone is Mal. They are angels in his view are not standing unto their moral selves.
A crazy thought...remember how the vase comes close to pandora's 'jar', So is the killer placing the picture back in the vase, symbolic of putting back the evils inside the jar. Sort of like a 'housecleaning' profile.

3. Anjali was killed by two people, 1st person being unsub and 2nd being the Killer (artist), are they the same? If so, who is the unsub and what are the motives?
I'm guessing since the artist put in the picture of Anjali and Mal in the vase, I'm thinking the unsub here is Mal. But how does the artist find out about this? We definitely know that Mal is not the artist (First part where Mal is introduced, Artist is sketching for 13 hours, whereas Mal is interrupted to come to the station). So indeed there are two different people here. Although its uncanny to think they visit on the same day, as in the case of Sasha's killing as well.
Also why is Mal avenging for Anjali's infidelity? Motives, just as you asked.

I was wrong about the artist not being at Sasha's killing, but the presence of the vase, tells me its otherwise.
I have a question here: why didn't the artist choose a picture of Mal, Anjali and Sasha together for the vase he left behind in Mal's apartment, if Mal is the unsub in Sasha's killing too? Perhaps, Mal was not the unsub here.
Also if Sasha was killed by drug overdose, then why does the artist leave the picture behind in the vase, if it was not his kill at all? Sasha didn't meet justice in the hands of the artist, so his only intention was to tell the world who she really was in real life.
5. Mal is killed by the Killer (artist)? If so under what motives?
ln his psychosis, he is just opening the gates for them...making sure they don't degrade further.
Sooks, my head is spinning!
I'm just looking for Sooks to write on the motives for it all.

wow.. I have only gone through it once😳😆

But still just wondering about the Interlude and the artist..

His delusions are elaborate and hes too invested in them, over so many years.. he waits until they truly fall to demonic levels in his perception, until his tolerance is past and raging fire engulfs , and then he simply has to correct the errant angels..

But hes been beat to the punch twice... how is it that we do not see rage towards that someone who spoilt his plans twice? He should have gone mad and ..

.oh..huh..😳..is-.. is that the fourth person who tipped the balance?!
