Part 23:
Geet sat in Maan's room waiting for Riya to sleep so she could take her back to their room...she looked at the clock it was 12 and Maan hadnt returned she was getting really
worried..there was a storm outside and he hadnt taken his cell too...she sat their waiting and thinking of all the times she had spent with Maan here...those were
unforgettable times...she closed her eyes and felt a wetness on her cheeks..she realized she was crying...she was crying over a man who had ruined her life but
a voice inside her asked:'Was it really all his fault?...Was it because of him life turned out like this?..You could have tried to tell him the truth too?But you had ego?'
All these questions popped in her mind but ignoring them she went to answer the door as she heard a knock...she wiped her tears and opened the door as she opened the door
she saw Arohi,Shilpa and Khushi standing there with a huge tub of ice-cream.
S-Girl Time?
Geet smiled and pulled the door wide open for them...they all came inside and sat down on the carpet...Geet closed the door and joined them...Arohi passed each of them
a spoon and opened the tub and they all dug in...
K-Geet...where's Maan?
G-Mhmmm...i dont know he's gone from a long time...
S-In this storm?
K-Even Arnav's not here...
A-Arey dont worry they'll be back their not kids you know..
S-Yeah they will be back..anyways Geet why were you crying?
G-Crying..i wasnt...something went in my eye thats all..
K-Geet dont lie!
G-I am not!
A-Di you are...
G-Fine i was crying i missed Maan okay?
K-You cant live this life alone can you?
G-I've done it till now...
S-Geet you cant deny you love him..
G-It was his fault!
A-Was it really all his fault Di?
G-Yes...maybe i dont know!
Tears flowed from her eyes again...all 3 girls rushed to pull Geet in a hug..Geet cried her heart out for the first time in years...
G-Im...not strong enough *sob*...i cant handle all this...i miss him each and every day...i cant live without him..maybe it was my fault too...i should have told him..but
he didnt trust me he should have and then riya...he shouldnt have..i know im wrong too *sob*...but i wish things would be different..
A-Di..shhh..calm down...shhh...
K-Geet things can still be different!
G-How?
S-Let us tell you!
But before anything could be said there was a knock on the door for the second time today...Arohi went to open the door and when she opened the door she saw a lady
standing there...
Lady-Mr.Khurana's room?
A-Yes it is..but who are you?
L-His girlfriend any problem?
Arohi's mouth fell wide open.she couldnt believe her ears...
Maan sat with Arnav and waited for the rain to get over...while Arnav on the other hand kept talking about how she was so great and how lucky he was...
but all Maan could think about was the question Arnav has asked him...was it true did he really believe his answer?Somewhere deep down he knew he need Geet and Riya
in his life but what was stopping him?Ego?Seema?What was it?
A-Maan I'm sorry i shouldnt be talking about this...its just that...
M-Its not your fault Arnav...she's nobody to me...
A-Are you sure about that?
M-Yes...you love her..she loves you..
A-When did i say that?
M-Isnt it obvious?...
A-Whatever you say...
M-Arnav take good care of her and riya okay?
Aranv to himself:'Why should I when you'll be there?'
Arnav just nodded and said:'I think the storm's stopped..lets go out and head back?'
M-Yeah lets go...
They headed towards the car...they sat down..Arnav started driving and they were off back to the hotel...
The whole drive was silent...Maan kept thinking about Arnav's question and Arnav kept thinking about the next step in the plan...he called Khushi and according to her
there was a very worried and jealous Geet here so if everything went right...they would be one step forward in getting these two to admit their feelings!
At the Hotel in the morning:
Last night had been hectic...Geet had ignored Maan...Seema had come to Shimla...it was all a weird night!
Geet heard a knock on her door...she looked at the time and wondered who it was this early?She went and opened the door and saw Maan standing there
G-Maan...tum itni...
M-Geet wohh..actually i need to talk to you
G-Come in...
M-No not here somewhere outside
G-Okay
M-At the cafe at 8 okay?
G-Okay
Before she could say something Maan ran away...Geet noticed there was something wrong..he looked nervous she wondered why?
She closed the door and went towards the bathroom to start getting ready...
Arnav paced the room back and forth...Khushi wandering behind him..
K-Arnav kya howa?
A-I hope the plan works...
K-What plan?
A-I need to go check now...
K-Arnav wait...
A-Did Seema arrive?
K-Seema you know her?
A-Means she arrived...got to go see you later..i love you.
K-Butt...
Before she could complete Arnav had already gone...
For the second time in the morning there was a knock on her door...Geet went and opened the door and this time she saw Arnav on the door...
G-Arnav andar aao..
A-Nahi Geet abhi nahi i wanted to say that we have to go out at 9 okay?
G-Why?
A-Me and you only..we need to talk!!
G-Okay but...
He had gone before she could say anything Geet wondered what was wrong with all the guys today first Maan then Arnav...Gosh!
