Part 11:
Maan had walked in the bedroom and as he entered he saw Geet sleeping peacefully
on the sofa,he knew she was tired from all the packing...as the bags lay on the bed,
completely packed...and all the cupboard doors were wide open..a smile played on his
lips as he thought:'She looks so cute when she's asleep...atleast she's not screaming
at me like always..i wish,Geet you would keep sleeping..and i could keep staring at
your face forever...'..Still smiling he took a pair of shorts and a vest and went to the
bathroom to change...when he came back..he looked at geet's face and he just kept
on looking because she was smiling...he wondered what she was dreaming about which
made her smile like that...and while thinking he went to the bed and kept the bags on the floor
and went to the sofa picked geet up and put her down on the bed..and then put a
blanket on her...as he was going..he stopped he bent down and kissed her forhead and
said:'Goodnight,Geet..i promise you just 2 more weeks then you'll be free...'and then
he turned off the lights and went to the sofa and fell asleep...
Morning:
Geet was screaming on the top of her lungs:'Maan,jaldi..because of you we'll be late..
hurry up...'..Maan hurriedly wore his clothes and came out saying:'Haan Haan madam
g im here..chalo lets go now...we'll have breakfast on the plane..k?'
G-Haan,okay..abhi chalo..
They both walk towards the car,maan put the luggage in the trunk..and he came
and sat on the driver's seat and asked:'Geet,have u worn your seatbelt...?'
G-Haan,maan ab chalo..
M-READY?
G-READY!
They reached the airport in 15 mins..they got down took their baggage and went in..
they had got their boarding pass..luggage check...everything was all okay...they
boarded the flight...
Announcement:'All passengers,the flight will be taking off in 5mins plz fasten your
seat belts..thankyou'
M-Geet put your seatbelt on
G-Haan,im putting it on
After 5 mins:
Geet was trembling she had always feared this part on of the plane ride..the take off
and the landing...she was scared to death..the flight started to take off and geet
without giving it a second thought.. clutched maan's hand...maan looked up at her
and smiled seeing her state..and shook his head thinking:'She shows she's such a
strong woman but is scared of a mere take-off..'
But maan tightened the grip on her hand and slipped his fingers through hers...
M-Geet,kuch nahi hoga i promise...dont worry..
G-I know maan...just a little scared...
**Flashback**
'Geet kuch nahi hoga dont worry main hoon na...i'll take care of you..afterall..
i have vowed to stay with you for life..'
G-Rahulll...stop it here im scared to death and here your making fun of me..what if
i died t...
Rahul silenced her with placing his finger on her lips nd said:'Shutup Geet Handa...nothing
will ever happen to you as long as im with you...'
Geet smiled hearing these words and said:'Okay,baba sorry'and she slipped her fingers
through his and rested her head on his shoulder and thought:'I know im safe with you'
**End of Flashback**
G-(st)Maan,i know im safe with you..
M-Geet,you can open your eyes..no...w..
He looks at geet and stops..'Hey geet why are you crying...dont worry,your safe..
stop crying..im there na..'..and wipes her tears with his finger...
G-Woh,haan im not crying something went in my eye...quickly wiping her tears and putting
a smile on her face...the flight took off..
Geet left maan's hand...geet started watching a movie whilse maan listened to songs..
After some time:
The air-hostess came up to them and asked them for their breakfast order..
AH-Sir,what would you like to have?
M-Umm...what's on the menu?
AH-Everything sir,u want to try anything special.. saying this with a wink..
M-Haha,well...why not..u can give me your special..i would be glad to try it..winking
back at her...
The airhostess gave maan a sly smile...
Geet was staring at the airhostess with wide eyes..and looking at maan with anger..
G-Excuse me,we would like to have a few chicken sandwhiches for breakfast..thankyou..
you may leave..
But both of them ingnored her and kept their convo going...
Geet unable to control her emotions slided her arm around maan's arm and said:
'Me and my husband would like to have 3 chicken sandwhiches and 2 coffee's..thankyou..
she said it with such authority which clearly stated back off...for the airhostess..
The airhostess was embrassed because she had started flirting with a married man..
shit but what could she do..he was hot...he was goodlooking...man he was perfect...
The airhostess left them...as soon as she went geet gave maan a murderous look
G-Maan,apko sharam nahi ati,being a married man you're flirting with a another girl,
that too infront of your wife?
Maan was shocked and happy at geet's words..while smiling he replied:'Arey,i was not
flirting..i was just asking about the menu...geet'
G-Acha,by winking at her..maan...u better stay on the right track...no flirting while
we're on this trip..get it?
M-Haan madam Geet jaise apki marzi..
Geet was satisfied but then she thought why was i having problem if he was flirting
with that girl..he's free to do anything he wants it's not like we're in love and
this marriage is real..i mean we both are just compromising with the circumstances..
maybe i was feeling bad because i was hungry and she was not taking my order..
Murmering to herself:'Haan,Geet that's it you did that all so she would take your order
because your hungry na...thats it..haan'
But this answer didnt satisfy geet's heart..only her brain accepted it...
2 hours later:
'All passengers fasten your seatbelts the plane is going to land in a few minutes..'
Again Geet was terrified..this time maan held her hand tightly...so she was at comfort
but then the plane started shaking...geet trembled with fear
Announcement:'Some problem has occurred while landing we will solve it plz tighten your
seatbelts...'
Geet was so scared she put her head on maan's chest...for she was feeling scared
and by doing tht she felt safer..when she hid her face in his chest..he thought for
sometime and then thinking:'What the hell...she has her face in my chest not me'
And he puts his free hand around her and embraces her...they both were locked
in an embrace when the plane safely landed and an announcement was made that all
passengers could get off the plane...Maaneet left the plane..they finished
all the formalities and came out of the airport a car was waiting for them..
they sat in it..and the car took them to their hotel...they both got off..took their
luggage..maan checked in the hotel..got their keys and they both went to their room
when thy entered the room..maan went and fell on the bed...'What a journey..im tired
and hungry now...i'll order something'..he turned around to order and geet said:
'Maan mujhe apse kuch kehna hai'...he said:'Bolo'..and at that moment there was a
knock on the door...maan says:'Ek minute geet let me open the door then we'll talk..'
he opens the door..and his mouth opens in horror...and he says:'Tum?'
G-Kaun hai?
she goes and looks at the person their and says:'You..'in complete shock...
