Part 10:
Geet was sitting in the bedroom thinking about all the events which had taken place
till now...she was thinking:'What has become of my life...didnt me and rahul...
dream of a perfect life together...but where has destiny lead me?..it has pushed me
in another man's arms?...Maan Singh Khurana..he is my husband now...but how and why?
Babaji...you know na i only can love rahul...then how can u bring Maan in my life?'..
She remembered:
FlashBack:
Rahul-Geet..kaho ho tum..?
Geet-Arey..wait na im coming...
while coming she slipped..and was about to fall down,when a pair of strong arms caught
her by her waist...and helped her up...
Geet-Rahul...thankyou...warne aaj toh mein ghir hi jate..
Rahul taking her hands in his-Geet..mein humashe tumare saath rahonga..as your life
partner..you will never find yourself alone..i will be with you holding your hand..
And with a swift movement turns her around,holds her by her waist rest's his chin
on her shoulder..and continues-Geet,i promise you i will never love anyone except you..
even if i think i am i will never ever fall in love with that person..because my promise
to you is more important..i will love you and you only forever...
Geet-Rahul...i promise you the same that i will never love anyone besides you..even
if i think i may like that person i will not fall in love with anyone...i will
always love you and keep loving you..no matter what the circumstances...
Rahul-'Geet...lets take our vows...'and he turns her around and holds her hands in his
and says:I,Rahul Garewal...vow to always love you no matter what the circumstances..
i will always love you...and u will always remain the woman to rule my heart...
Geet-I,Geet Handa..vow to always love you no matter what the circumstances...you
will be my only love forever and hereafter...
Rahul-Correction Geet..not Geet Handa..going to be Mrs.Geet Garewal...
and slips a ring in her finger and says:'I know you'll marry me...'
and Geet mockingly hits him on his chest and says:'Rahul..tum bhi na...just wait..
aaj mein tumhe nahi chodogin..'
Rahul-'Pehle pakar to lo...who's even talking about leaving then?'
Geet-RRRaaahulll...
and rahul runs away from her with geet behind him..after running for sometime...
they both fall on the bed laughing...
**Scene Fades Away**
As Geet was remembering all this tears...covered her face...she was crying...
but there were tears of loneliness...of helplessness...tears of not being able to do
something she wants to do...
She said:'Why,babji why..when you know i cant fall in love with anyone...even if i want
too...why did you have to bring this problem in my life?..even if i want to care
about maan i cant..i cant betray rahul...i vowed to him not to love anyone except
him..forever...and you know babji...Geet Handa never breaks her promises...
and i will remain faithful to rahul..i will not fall in love with anyone...rahul is my first
and last love...'
When a small voice whispers in her ears:'But...that was Geet Handa who never broke
promises and Geet Handa who made that promise...not Geet Khurana..Geet Khurana is
free to love whom ever she wills...'
But Geet pushes away such thoughts..and says:'I am not Geet Khurana..by will i am
still that old Geet..and i will never break my vow...i will keep loving rahul and
rahul alone'...and wipes her tears...ready to face the challenges but she is determined
to never break her promise...
Geet gets up and looks at the time and says:'Haye...it's already 8pm..i have to start
packing..tomorrow we have to leave for shimla...maan will be so angry at me i havent
even started packing...'..she stops and says:'Maan..i am going with maan when i just
now said i dont break vows...'..but then says:'I am going with maan like a friend..
like i would go with armaan,nesha...and all...just friends'..
She started packing...
Geet was packing her clothes when the phone rang...she went to answer it:
G-Hello..
Other person-Hello..Geet..
G-Oh,aap.. haan boliye maan
M-Woh,geet i got stuck in a important meeting i wont be home until late night...
so will you please do my packing for me?..
G-What?...i do your packing..na baba na..you want me to be dead?
then you'll scream at me only you didnt put that and this...nahi..do it yourself..
M-Plz...geet i'll be home really late and we have to be at the airport at 6am..
how will i manage?..geet plz...i promise i wont say anything...pack as you like but plz
do pack...
G-hmm...but you promise no screaming at me for missing something..?
M-mm..mm...theek hai i promise..
G-Okay..i'll do it...but what should i pack?
M-My casuals..and a few night suits..a few pairs of trekking boots and then..
yes plz pack my winter wear...and shoes...my shaving kit..and my comb..my perfume..
and...my..la..
G-Baas...Baas...i got it i will pack our whole room...
M-(too stunned to reply..she had just said our room...)
M-...
G-kya howa?..
M-umm..kuch nahi i think you got what to pack na..toh yes i'll keep..and haan geet
plz pack my laptop too..i may need it..
G-Haan..okay baba i will...or kuch...
M-Nahi...thankyou Geet...
G-Welcome...
about to cut the phone:
M-Umm..Geet suno woh did u have dinner?
G-Haan i did..thankyou for asking..
M-okay..bye
G-bye..
Geet kept the phone and for some unknown reason a smile was playing on her lips..
and said:'Yeh maan bhi na..i dont know what happened to him in the end..itne chup..
and bilkul bache hain maan...'..and continues smiling...
After a few hours:
'Haye..Haye..that was soo tiring...im so tired..meri packing toh meri this maan's
packing is even more diificult...'Geet said in an annoyed manner..
It was almost 3am in the morning..and geet was so tired from packing...she fell
asleep there itself on the sofa without bothering to change...
When someone opened the door...
Precap:'Maan mujhe aap se kuch kehna hai..'
Guys..so yeah the last precap i decided to postponed for a few parts coz i want you guys to understand both the characters first so thats why..hope its okay:)
Okay..guys this is the update from geet's point of view..hope you'll be able to understand
her more now..if u dont do tell me...i'll try and reveal her feelings often..
and i know update is small...coz i just wanted to clear geet's feeling..so
th story hasnt moved ahead...it will move ahead from the next part ..
sorry for any grammatical and spelling errors i didnt revise it:)
next part has alot of nhok jhoks..funny..cute moments of maaneet but another
twist coming up...
