Part 9:
Maan said:'Geet start ur story plz...'
Geet started telling her story:'Rahul's family and my family were family friends...but me and rahul always used to fight..we both went to the same college and in college we became good friends but armaan was my best-friend he understood me like no one...after some time my family and rahul's family thought it was time that this friendship be turned into..a
relationship...so they decided me and rahul should get married both of us agreed but we had one problem me and rahul wanted
to finish our studies...our parents agreed to it..so while finishing our studies we got to know each other and we didnt
know when we fell in love...and we told our parents we wanted to get married as soon as possible and they started the preparations...and u know the rest on our wedding day he got in an accident...babaji has not been fair with me... i had faith that he will protect mine and his jodi but he didnt..but that is not the end
before our wedding was decided me and armaan had gone really drunk..someone had
mixed something in our drinks...so we were drunk and we went to armaan's place and
we..we kinda got carried away i mean we didnt do anything like that but we kissed and
then i said i better go home...i was all drunk and was going home when some guys they
got hold of me and they misbehaved..they ripped my...c..loth..es..and touched me..
and they kissed me...on my lips..and after that left me on the road
where rahul had found me and he helped me and knowing all that he still wanted
to marry me...when we went to file a report the police said i was drunk so
i may have let them do all that intentionally...and they made a joke out of me..rahul got so angry he punched one of them..and it all became a big issue and came in the papers
and thats why my family left mumbai..and we came to delhi...but rahul and his
family still agreed to let this marriage happen that's when i fell in love with him...
but babaji couldnt see me happy could he?...' and while saying all this tears were rolling down her cheeks..
by the time she finished the story she started sobbing
loudly...and maan just took her in his arms and she didnt
resist she just put her head on his chest and clung on his shirt and cried her heart out...he kept on soothing her by
saying:'Geet..shh...dont worry...everything will be fine.. i will not let anything hurt you now...shh..'..and with that
he faded in his own thoughts..he started thinking how dare those men touch
his geet how dare they?..his blood was boiling at the thought of what they did
with her...and he decided he should
do everything to make geet happy and when she is happy
enough...i'll tell her i love her..yes that a good idea...coming
out of his thoughts he said:'Geet,its getting late u better get some sleep..'..geet just nodded her head and headed for
the bathroom..while she was there maan called the airline office and booked two tickets for tomorrow evening's flight
for shimla..and when geet came out she went straight to bed
so maan thought its better i tell her this in the morning... that night geet slept light hearted and maan slept worriedly as
in how to make geet happy...
Morning:
Geet woke up first she got up..took a bath...put her clothes on and
went to the kitchen thinking she'll make the breakfast today..
she started preparing the breakfast while preparing it..
she wanted some flour but it was too high...so in order to get
it she needed someone's help or needed a stool...and while
wondering how to get it she was murmering to herself:
'Haye...ab isko mein kesa loon?...haye haye jaise log waise cheeza
itna upar kyu raka howa hai?..and maan was just passing the
kitchen when she spotted him and called out:'Maan,suniye..
woh will u get the flour for me?'...Maan looked at her and smiled
and said:'Sure'...he got down the flour and then tried to tell
geet something he said:'urmm...geet i know that i've hurt you alot but cant we leave the
past behind and become friends?..'..Geet thought for sometime and said:'Okay..
i mean whatever happened you didnt do purposely...and i see ur regreting so i
forgive you but dont do anything to hurt me again...'..Maan said:'I promise i wont
do anything to hurt you...Friends?..'he held his hand out..'Friends'said geet shaking
his hands..both were smiling and kind of relieved..that no more fighting and blaming..
and then maan spoke up again:'Well...geet i thought we could go out of town for
sometime and have fun..i mean a change of air and all...what do you think?'..
'Yeah,thats a good idea..but where could we go?'..she said while pouting..maan
thought she looked so adorable...and maan said:'Hmm...why not shimla?..'
'Yes'..said geet a smile forming at her lips..'Yes..yes'.she screamed and unintenionally
hugged maan..and maan hugged her back...but geet suddenly pulled away when the
doorbell rang..she went and opened the door...maan got angered at who was at the
door..he mumbled:'Yeh chichunder kahi ka phir se..im not leaving him...today'
when geet said:'Maan,woh ghar mein sugar nahi hai..would u mind and go buy some..plz?'
maan couldnt say no to her so he said:'Oka'..he went to get the sugar but he was not
happy leaving armaan and geet alone...he went and bought the sugar when he came
back...he saw armaan's hands over geet's and he was saying:'Muskaan dont worry,
its a matter of few days na..and then everything will be okay...we'll be happy
then...together..'..Geet replied:'I know armaan,i trust you...'
Maan stood there wondering were they talking about their marriage..were they
getting marriage..he said no not after what happened between geet and me..
then suddenly he thought wat happened between me and her?..nothing..maan stop
acting dum...maybe she really wants to stay with armaan..and then he decided
after this trip..im going to hand her the divorce papers just thses 2 weeks more
and she can be free...and he went in and said:'Geet,ye lo tumare cheeni..'
Geet said:'Thankyou..maan'..and went in the kitchen..maan saw her going and then
saw armaan following her...so he followed both of them and stood outside and listened
to what they were saying armaan was sitting on the counter and saying:'Muskaan..
mujhe 3 bache chaiyen its must haan..;P..(guys he was referring to what rahul used
to say all the time to tease geet...)..and geet to lighten the mood said:'but bohot
dard hoga theen bache..too much armaan..kam karo'..he said:'Ab yeh mera orders
nahi hai upar se orders aye hai..baas over..i want 3 kids after marriage decided..'
Geet replied back:'Pehle shaadi toh hojaye..'..and hearing this maan's heart broke
and he went from there in anger...while in the kitchen as soon as she said that..she
remembered rahul and tears rolled down her cheeks..and armaan got up to comfort her
but then maan came back to tell geet to start packing..as they had to leave tonight
but when he went there he didnt see geet crying he only saw her in armaan's arms
and anger rushed through him..and said...'Geet,let this trip get over then u can be
free to go with that chichunder and have as many kids as u like...but i just want
u to be happy with me for a change..'and he walked towards his room making a mental
note to cancel all his idea's of saying ILU to geet...
thats it guys and i cancelled that precap i had told in the last chapter a little change
...so yeah and guys keep commenting ur comments make my day..i read each and
everyone of thembut sorry i couldnt reply to all..but thank you so much for
inspiring me and supporting thankyou:)
