Hey Anu,

At last caught up with this one. Wonderful work.⭐️

Chapter 1:

Cold-blooded Don has something cooking in his mind.

Geet & Nisha's conversation was fun as well as informative.

ACP ADITYA HANDA is taking huge risk. Well done officer.👏

Geet fighting goons back was awesome.

Don saved Geet. He gets distracted only with his will. What's he doing in common street of Dehli without his "security"?

I am making wild guess or rather hoping Maan to be undercover officer as well.

Chapter 2:

Both were mesmerized but won't accept it.

Geet standing her ground in front of DON with attitude was good.

Seems Fiery Wild Cat is going to tame Don one day.

Geet trying to murder vegetables was entertaining.

Adi called 4 assuring her safety. He knew about the incident if there was no one else then that indicates or give me hope 4 only one thing that my suspicions are true.

Sameera is Chief's daughter. Seems Don is maintaining intimacy only 4 Chief.

Plan is all set to arrest Chief, hope no black sheep is in the group to ruin it.

Geet's nightmare/dream is intriguing.

Chapter 3:

Geet is graduate with distinction & "somebody" heard the news first hand.

O.K, now situation is wavering ideas. Adi is so serious & did not get the chance to see the call time by Geet. Does that indicate something particularly ?& Dev is going to be part of team. Wonder if he is only teammate or "Friend." That throws all my hopes out of window.

Geet could not talk to Adi & had bad feeling.

After the long wait, Chief has arrived & DON don't like to be called as Maan, hmm.

The raid sequence was wonderful. Why Adi did not like the idea of being in midst of fight when he is a criminal though much more skilled.

Last part where DON came in view to show his anger on Adi was brilliant but he fired the gun after all that talk.

If the fired 5 bullets are not for 5 gangsters then Anu, be prepared, it will be worst 4 U.😛😉

Maan got hear Geet's voice n Geet did recognized him sumwat by his breaths

It was fab

With Sameera in picture n she being cheif's daughter i doubt that Maan will get Geet

@priya- ye log hai na aisa hi karte pehle Chief (reet ka) or Don jaise character banate hai fir humme unse pyar me padwate hai, aur jab hum pyar mein pad jate hai ye log bhav khate hai or late late update karte hai.

chapter-4

Geet woke up with a severe headache due to insomnia she suffered last night and thought about the reason of sleeplessness.

Why didn't bhaiya call last night, even after I text him to call me urgently...??...she frowned thinking...he never takes my messages lightly...!!

She was pondering over the matter when her eyes fell over the clock...

Oh, god...!!...her eyes popped out...I am damn late, its already 9...!!

She quickly got up and rushed to washroom. At about 9.35 she finished her breakfast and dialled nisha...

Hello...!!

Hey nisha, its me...!!

Geet where are you...??...I am waiting and why didn't you called on my cell...??

I am at my home and your cell is off. Now listen, I'll be late so you carry on. I'll join you in the jim class...geet said munching her sandwich

Geet disconnected and gulped her juice hurriedly. Grabbing her bag she rushed to the door and was about to move out when the land line rang...

DCP singh hesitated a minute not knowing how to disclose the news, but then he himself told his officers about informing geet personally for the place di has in his heart...!!

There is a bad news geet...he paused and geet's heart beat increased in anticipation...we have lost adi...!!

The last set of words bore her ears and her whole body was numb with shock dropping the receiver from her hand. Her vision became hazy as hot tears cascade her eyes and finally roll down her cheeks breaking all the barriers of tolerance...!!

She felt her world crumbled down infront of her eyes. Her sole supporter, her brother was no more in this world to support her. The only person to whom she look up to in all her times of ups and downs. The only person whom she could call her own has abandon her forever...!!

She fell on the floor crying hysterically at the huge loss time has so cruelly inflicted on her. She cried her heart out screaming his name, calling him to come back, but in her hysteria she forgot that the dead never returns...!!

Don, adi's case is being probed into by CBI...narang informed don who was sitting with his chair's back facing them

Geet was sitting in the waiting room like stone with a pale face and numb body. Somehow she managed to reach mumbai for claiming the body of her brother, but now her courage was betraying her slowly...!!...DCP singh helped her a lot with the formalities and gave a lot of moral support, but nothing was enough to alleviate her pain...!!

Geet...!!...a man beckoned her from behind bringing her back from her thoughts

She instantly got up getting startled which was very much evident from her shaking body. She took deep breath and controlled herself to the maximum and looked at man. He was tall, fair and with a good physic...!!

He came towards her and extended his hand...

I am dev, dev bakshi CBI mumbai...!!

She looked at his hand and nodded slightly while dev retreated his hand...

Uh, I am sorry. I didn't wanted to startle you...!!

Its ok...geet replied meekly

I am adi's friend, I hope he had talked to you about me before...he said a bit hesistantly...actually, I never expected to meet you like this, I mean in such terrible situation, but...

Geet tried to understand what he was trying to say and thought...Is he the one...??...but the moment was just not letting her think on that line so she simply pushed the thought at the back and said...

Can I see him, I mean...she couldn't muster courage to utter dead body for her brother and left the line to trail off

Dev understood her hesistance and at once replied...

Yeah, come with me...he guided her outside

They moved towards another section of the floor and dev urged to follow him...

Geet looked around to grasp the alien surrounding and gasp as she saw the board on the door where they were heading. She froze on her spot realizing it was a morge...!!

Though she knew they would have kept adi here only, but now when she was standing outside it was much more difficult to accept that her brother was dead...!!

Dev opened the door for geet to enter, but didn't found her beside him. He instantly looked behind to find geet standing at some distance with a horrified expression and he knew what was troubling her. He felt so helpless seeing geet in such a state and controlled his own self before moving to her...

Geet, I know its very difficult for you to accept all this, but you have to be strong. Adi was a great guy, adorable friend and no doubt, must have been best brother too, but above all he was a brave officer and sacrificed his life for the country...dev said in a soft yet firm voice...and you are his sister, so just like him face the situation with courage. Don't get weak...!!

Geet gulped the lump in her throat and nodded in affirmative...

Come...he said guiding her towards the door while geet followed with heavy steps

The very ambiance of the room was suffocating and creepy, but geet held on to her nerves. There were several locker like boxes arranged in layers. Dev asked the guard to open the box in which adi's body was kept while geet clutched her duppatta tightly fearing to see the worst and it was the worst, indeed...!!

There her brother was lying cold and motionless. The eyes which used to emitt a spark of confidence and courage were closed forever. Geet felt like the floor beneath her slipped away and she was about to collapse on the floor when dev caught her and took her outside...

Making her seated on the nearby chair he yelled at one of the constable to get water immediately...

Geet, geet...are you okay...??...he asked with a panic striken voice

Soon the constable came with a glass of water which dev instantly offered geet...

Here have water and relax...he helped her in drinking water while geet choked with the unappropriate speed she was gulping the liquid...!!

Easy...dev said caressing her back to sooth her. Geet was not in a state to continue any more formalities, so dev asked her to take rest. DCP singh too came to check on geet...

Geet beta, I think you should go home...he said with a concerned voice

But before that I want to give you something, come with me. Till then dev will get a cab for you...he took geet along with him to his cabin while dev went to fetch a cab

Taking out a packet he handed it over to geet...

These things belong to adi...he said with a sad voice...geet, adi was like my son and I am really sorry for your loss...!!

This is his flat key...he gave a key to her

But sir, adi bhaiya never told me about any flat...she frowned and said recalling something...he used to live in government quater...!!

Uh, yeah actually, he used to, but he also has a flat which now belongs to you...DCP said hurriedly and placed the keys and the address on the table near her

She looked a bit confused and took the keys and the card hesitantly.

Sir...dev said knocking at the door and saving singh from further queries from geet...the cab is ready...!!

Good...DCP sighed in relief and came towards geet...it was nice meeting you geet. I know its a tough time for you, but be strong and have faith in god...DCP said guiding her outside and signalled dev to take her

Thank you sir...saying she left with dev

As they were walking down the stairs geet stopped and looked at dev...

Dev, can I ask you a favour...she asked softly

Sure, anything...dev replied honestly

Listen, I know bhaiya died in some tussle with gangsters...she took a deep breath and said...I want a copy of the police report on the whole incident...!!

Geet...!!...he was shocked at geet's demand and knotted his brows...but this is not legal, any outsider is not allowed to probe into police records and moreover why do you want that, I have already briefed you with the incident...!!

I know dev you all are working on the case, but I want to know everything, just to ease my heart. Please, atleast I have the right to know about my brother...she said with pleading eyes

Dev rubbed his temple with his fingers not knowing what to say...

Geet I can't promise, but I'll try...and then he said in a very serious tone...listen to me carefully geet, I know adi was everything to you. He was very close to me too, but I don't want you to get into any trouble. Do you hear me...??...you'll not get involved into all this...there was a firmness in his voice...!!

Geet looked into his eyes and replied...hmm, but I want to know the case...!!

Dev released the breath he was holding due to tension and said in a soft voice...

Ok, I'll try, but please geet don't take any stress and if you need anything just give a call to me and I'll be there for you, okay...!!

She nodded her head and got inside the cab...!!

Don composed himself and smirked at her advances and said in a husky voice...don is not losing his calm baby, he is just a bit pensive...he bit her finger which reached his lips by now...!!

Ouch...she winced...you naughty tiger...she smirked coming closer to kiss him, but he backed off teasingly

Not now baby, I have to go somewhere. Will catch you later...he replied and moved out hurriedly

Geet reached the address and came out of the cab looking at the huge building infront of her. She never knew her brother owned any apartment, but if he did why didn't he ever told her. Brushing the thoughts to ponder upon later, she walked inside the building and then into the lift for 5th floor which was mentioned in the card.

Finally reaching the door she fished out the key to open the flat, but was shocked when it clicked from inside and opened by someone...

A boy of 14 peeped through the door and looked at her from up and down. She frowned and eyes him suspiciously...

Kaun hai tu...??...the boy asked with a stern voice

( who are you...??)

She looked at the boy for sometime and came back to her senses when he commented...

Aise ghoor ke kya dekh rahi hai, pata hai apun bahut chikna hai par apun ke thopre ko nazar mat laga...he said boasting his looks while geet was stunned to hear something so unusal from a mere boy of 14.

( why are you staring like this...??...I know I am handsome, but don't lay ur evil eye on me...!! )

Haan haan, thik hai. Ab jyada pair parne ki zaroorat nahi...he said showing his "magnanimity"...ab bata tu kaun hai...!!

Geet was totally astonished at his sudden change in attitude, but followed him inside...

It was a big flat with two bedrooms, kitchen, dining hall and everything attached.It had a beautiful interior and looked quite expensive...!!

Apun romeo hai, woh bhaiya ne apun ko yahan ki dekh rekh ke liye rakha hai...romeo replied keeping her luggage in one of the bedrooms...abhi abhi sirji ka phone aaya tha ki aap aa rahe ho, par woh kya hai na, apun ne aapko dekha nahi hai na kabhi to pehchanne mein mistake ho gaya...he said ruffling his hair sheepishly

( I am romeo, woh bhaiya had kept me as a caretaker of this flat...)...( just a moment ago sirji had called and informed me that you are coming, but as I haven't seen you before, I could not identify you...)

Aap naraz mat hona apun par...he said in a low voice

Geet looked at this new shy avatar of romeo who was behaving as a dada(goon) just a minute before and chuckled...

Nahi hun...she said smiling at him. It was after full two days that she smiled a bit

He too returned a smile and said with a new energy...

Didi aapko jo bhi chaiye apun ko bol dena, apun phataphat le ayega...he gave another sweet smile

Romeo fumbled a bit...haan woh, woh...and then quickly answered...haan, woh kya hai na ki adi bhaiya to jyadatar kaam ke liye bahar rehte the...he looked at her fearing to be caught

(yeah, actually adi bhaiya usually stayed out for his work...)

Oh, ok...geet was convinced

Aap aaraam karo apun aapke liye khane ka arrangement karta hai...he said and moved out of the room in a jiffy

(you take rest and I'll arrange something to eat...)

After he left geet looked around the room getting familiar with the surrounding. It was a big bedroom with each and everything at its proper place like the owner is very disciplined man, even the whole apartment was well kept. She remembered how her brother used to chide her for not keeping things at their proper place.

May be I am worrying unnecessarily, bhaiya might have been thinking of surprising me with this flat thats why he didn't mentioned anything, I am just too much stressed...she thought and sighed and sat down leaning on the bedrest feeling tired after today's terrible happenings. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted to sleep...!!

( bhaiya, she has arrived...)

Hmm, usne kuch khaya...??...he asked with a soft voice

(hmm, did she ate...??)

Nahi, woh, apun ne bola tha par jab khane ke liye bulane aaya toh dekha woh so rahi thi, isliye uthaya nahi...!!

( no, when I went there to call her she was asleep, so I didn't bother her...!! )

Thik hai, jab uth jaye toh dhyan dena ki woh kuch kha le...he said in a firm voice

(its ok, when she woke up make sure she eat something )

Ji bhaiya...saying so he disconnected the phone

Aur haan usse wahan koi takleef nahi honi chahiye...he ordered

( and yes make sure she don't face any trouble there )

Ji...romeo paused and then said...bhaiya, woh adi bhaiya ke bare mein poonch rahi thi...!!

( ok, bhaiya she was asking about adi bhaiya )

The man thought for a second and said...

Don't worry romeo, bus uska dhyaan rakhna. Woh adi ki behen hai toh uske jaisi hi tez hai isiye dhyan se, use kuch pata nahi chalna chahiye, tab tak jab tak main adi ke katilon ko saza nahi dilwa deta...he said with a very serious and determined tone

(She's adi's sister, she has to be equally smart, so keep a watch. She must not know anything, atleast till I get adi's killers behind bars )

Ji bhaiya apun samajh gaya lekin woh bahut udas lag rahi thi, apun ne thodi koshish ki mood thik karne ki par woh kuch zyada assar nahi hua...romeo informed him

( ok, I got it, but she was very upset. I tried to cheer her up, but was not much successful...)

Hmm, yeh sab uske liye asaan nahi hai romeo. Use thoda samay lagega, bus tu uska khayal rakhna baki main sambhal lunga...!!

(its not easy for her romeo. She need some time, just take care of her )

Ji bhaiya, apun rakhta hai...with that romeo hung the phone

(ok bhaiya, I'll hang up now )

The man on the other side sighed putting the cell on the table beside the copy of police report on adi's last encounter with the gangsters and said...Geet, you are not alone. I am there with you...always...!!
