CHAPTER 3
(Piya stood still in the rain looking at the direction where Abhay's car had gone. She was still thinking about that arrogant, rude but handsome guy. Instead of being angry, she seemed so lost in her thoughts. But then the sounds of other cars brought her back to reality. She realized then that she had been standing in the middle of the road for about 20 minutes. She felt embarrassed and rushed towards home).
Jaiswal House
(Sugandh was about to leave house and sees Piya entering the house)
Sugandh: Oh my god, Piya! What happened to you? You are all wet.
Piya: Oh mama, you scared me for a bit. I did not see you standing at the door.
Sugandh: You still have not answered my question, young lady? How come you are all wet when you had your umbrella with you?
Piya: Oh mama, don't even ask that. Everything went wrong today. I was so happy talking to Oberoi Uncle and I left his house, then all of a sudden wind blew my umbrella away and on top of that this arrogant and rude guy instead of helping me was giving me his attitude. I hope I meet him next time so that I can throw his attitude back at his face. I am so angry right now.
Sugandh (smiling): Piya beta just relax. What happened to my jhasi ki rani who used to handle any issues of her easily? Did you even talk to him or you just came back home without asking him the reason behind his rude behavior?
(Piya realized her cheeks were getting red)
Piya: oh Mama, I am still your brave girl. It is just that I did not get a chance to even talk to him. He left just like that. But let me tell you something mama. Next time, I am gonna teach him a lesson of his life. You just wait and watch.
Sugandh: Now, Piya please calm down. You do not know that guy, so judging people just based on a moment is not a good thing. Just think carefully before doing anything ok. I am pretty sure my daughter will resolve her issue with intelligence. By the way, what did Mr. Oberoi said regarding your portfolio?
Piya: Oh I completely forgot to tell you. Because of that sadu, I am forgetting to do important stuff now. I am so happy mama because Mr. Oberoi liked my portfolio and he said he will show it to Ms. Raichand today at the meeting.
Sugandh: Oh thats good. I am pretty sure you will get this job beta. Just have faith in yourself and god.
Piya: I hope I get it too mama. Thank you so much mama. I just need your blessings and luv.
Sugandh (Smiling): My blessings are always with you beta. Now, I have to leave for college. I have prepared your lunch. Make sure you eat it and stop thinking about that guy.
Piya (Rolling her eyes): Oh come on mama. Anybody else, but not him. Not even in my nightmare.
Sugandh (Smiling): ok sweetheart, take care of yourself. Bye
Piya: Bye, mama. Don't worry about me and all the best for your first day. I luv you.
