CHAPTER 5
Raichand Corporation
(Abhay is still thinking about those baby brown eyes that he has been having difficulty forgetting. He is feeling very anxious and is trying his best to ignore those moments that he spent with Pia. He is getting frustrated and angry at himself).
Abhay (thinking): What is wrong with you Abhay? Come on, control yourself. She is just another girl that you have met in your life. Why are you thinking about her all the time? What is it about those brown eyes that keeps on pulling you towards her? Why are you so restless?
(Abhay gets frustrated not being able to find answers for his own questions and gets up from his chair and leaves angrily).
Jaiswal House
(Piya is lost in her thoughts. She did not feel like doing anything the whole day. She has been constantly thinking about the handsome guy she met on the road. She feels like she is being drawn towards him. Everything about him, his eyes, his face makes her feel like she belongs to him. She is not angry with him anymore. She had even forgotten what she told her mom about teaching Abhay the lesson of his life. But, she just wants to meet him once and ask him who he is).
(Piya gets startled by the phone call. Mr. Oberoi calls her to give her the good news).
Piya: Hello!
Mr. Oberoi: Piya beta its me. I have some good news for you.
Piya (jumps out of her thoughts): Oh, hi Oberoi Uncle. How are you?
Mr. Oberoi: I am actually feeling great right now. Are you ready to hear the news?
Piya (excited): Yes Yes uncle, tell me.
Mr. Oberoi: First you got the job and second you have a meeting tomorrow at 10AM with Ms. Alisha Raichand.
Piya: Yayyy!!..I knew it...thank you so much uncle..I am so happy now...I am gonna tell mama tonyt...she will be more than happy after getting this news.
Mr. Oberoi: I am sure beta and all the best for tomorrow. I will talk to you late then.
Piya: Thank you so much. Bye
(At the mean time, Sugandh enters the Jaiswal House while Piya is talking on the phone).
Sugandh: Piya, who is it?
Piya (smiling): Oh mama mama, you won't believe it. Guess what happened? I got the job and I have a meeting tomorrow at the Raichand corporation.
Sugandh ( Smiling): See, what did I tell you? I always knew you would get it. Now, it is up to you how to impress you boss , ok.
Piya: I know mama. I will work very hard and impress them. Mama you are the best mother ever.
Sugandh: Ya ya, I know that. Now lets go to kitchen...lets not forget we do have to eat tonight...your sweet talks won't help to cook dinner...
(Both of them rush to kitchen to prepare dinner)
Next Morning
(Piya wakes up ealry, gets dressed, eats her breakfast and bids goodbye to her mother. She is looking absolutely gorgeous in her white sleeveless t-shirt and a short navy blue skirt. She gets to Raichand Corporation. She is stunned looking at the big building which looked more like a mansion than an office building).
(Piya is walking towards the front desk. At the same time, Abhay feels something. He feels like someone closer to him has finally arrived in his life. He starts to feel restless again. As Piya is walking in the corridor, all the guys working in the ground floor are stunned looking at her beauty. They could not take their eyes off her. Piya eventually realizes that bunch of guys are staring at her like crazily. She feels very annoyed and rushes to get to the front desk. She finally gets there and asks the receptionist about Alisha's cabin).
Piya: Good morning, my name is Piya Jaiswal and I have an appointment with Ms. Raichand.
Receptionist: Oh ok. Please give me few minutes so that I can confirm your appointment. Actually, Ms. Raichand is looking forward to meet you. Let me just take you to her cabin. Please follow me.
(Piya reaches to Alisha's cabin and knocks at the door).
Alisha: Come in.
(Piya enters the cabin and Alisha looks up to face her. Alisha is completely stunned looking at Piya who is looking absolutely gorgeous. She had not expected her to be that pretty and well mannered).
Piya: Good morning, mam. I am Piya Jaiswal.
Alisha: Good morning Piya. Please have a seat.
Piya: Mam first I want to thank you for giving me such a golden opportunity to work with you. I really appreciate it.
Alisha: No problem Piya. I have given this kind of opportunity to many other people. This is not a new thing for me to do. The fact is that we need someone to help us in this project and you needed the job at the same time. So, you see Piya, we are just helping each other out here nothing more than that. Now, I do not want to waste my time by talking about unnecessary things. So, I will get to the point right away.
(Piya is taken back by Alisha's arrogant and rude behavior. But, she keeps quiet because she needs this job desperately).
Alisha: Piya lets go over what you will be doing in this project. You will be helping my brother and your boss Abhay in this project. You will be his secretary and will help him out with everything. You will have to do what he will tell you to do. We do not want your opinion or suggestions interfering with this project. You will act very professional with Abhay. Is this clear Ms. Piya?
(Piya starts to get angry, but tries her best to act calmly. She reminds herself that she needs this job at any cost).
Piya: Yes, Mam. Everything is clear to me. I will do everything that he will tell me to do.
Alisha: Ok now you can go to the front desk and have the receptionist show you the whole building before you start your work. I want you to be independent and work hard.
Piya: Ok, Mam. I am gonna take your leave now.
(Piya leaves Alisha's cabin angrily and walks towards the front desk which is across the hallway).
Precap: Piya is walking towards the front desk when the chandelier lights hanging on the ceiling falls and is about to hit Piya.
