As most of you guessed….Naintara the villain….oh I love her as a beautiful and yet negative character….she is totally cut out for this.

Chapter 45 – Naintara and her talks

Saturday Evening

Maan entered KM to see entire family minus Rahul glued to the TV. He walked forward to see what was so engrossing to all. They were busy watching videos and pictures of Adi and Pinky's marriage with Geet giving a running commentary.

Annie – "Di, aap sach mein bahut sundar lag rahi thi us din. That red sari suited you like a T"

Nisha – "I know, just like a princess."

Pari – "Are mujhpe bhi itni nahin jachti hai yeh jitni tujhpe achi lag rahi hai"

Juhi – "You should definitely wear more Saris Geet…you look angelic…as your mother said just like a princess"

Rishab - "Kya matlab hai aap logon ka…are meri laado to hai hi princess but yes Sari just make her look more wow and fab"

Maan grinned and thought "Yeah right Dad!!!"

NT made a face hearing at all the compliments being showered at Geet. Yes she was looking beautiful but so many compliments. Chaiyiji noticed her daughter's face expression.

Chaiyiji – "Woh to hai bhaisahib but Geet ko to office ke kam kaaj se fursat kahan…Princess kam she is more like a tom boy…waise bhi kisi ki sunti kahan hai yeh…main to yeh soch ke hairaan hoon ki how is she able to carry it…pehn ni tak to ise aati nahin"

NT giggled – "Haan aur woh bhi maangi hui Saree"

Suddenly there was tension in the air. Pari tried to salvage the situation "Yeh kya keh rahi ho Naina…ghar ki saari cheezen hum sab ki hain aur meri sarees koi Geet se alag to nahin…what is mine is hers as well"

NT – "Woh to thik hai Pari but still she borrowed it from you right and all mom is saying that even though she doesn't own the saree and seeing her track record of wearing it…it is miraculous she could carry it the whole day"

Raj abruptly got up. "Geet, I need some tea…please bana de…aur kisi ko cahiye"

Everybody murmured to something or the other getting up from there. Geet hurriedly got up to walk to the kitchen. As she turned she bumped into a hard chest. She took a breath in to see Maan with a thunderous expression on his face.

Geet squeaked expecting a volcano eruption and tried to calm him down - "Maan aap…kab aaye…kuch cahiye aapko…let me get something to cool you"

Maan – "I will take it myself"

Saying that he marched to the kitchen. Geet gave a forced smile and went to kitchen as well. As soon as she entered, Maan grabbed her and pinned her to the wall.

Geet – "Calm down Maan …koi aagaya to"

Maan – "to? Main kisise nahin darta. Tumhari tarah mujhe bakwaas sunne ki aadat nahin hai samjhi…maine kaha tha na tumse kuch kharidne ke liye"

Geet – "Please Maan…first of all I have no issues sharing things with Mom and Pari…and as far as Chayiji and Naina are considered….you know woh bachpan se aisi hi hain….Maan you know they are dad's last relations and dad promised chachu he will take care of them…Please calm down…mujhe sach mein bura nahin laga"

Maan simply bent down and kissed her with all the frustration and passion. He parted "That doesn't mean I have to like it"

Geet, played with his tie pulling him forward "I love you jaan…please shaant ho jao…I also can't see you angry like this."

She pouted and tip toed on her feet to peck his nose.

Geet – "Ab give me a smile…please mere liye"

Maan smiled slightly "You always get your way with me"

Geet – "So to hai…ab hato is se pehle koi aa jaye…aur haan, Maan please let's postpone our tomorrow's plan to next Sunday. Chaiyji ki aadat to tumhe pata hai na…woh bewajah baat ko kahan se kahan le jati hain…just one more week jaanu"

Maan sighed – "Thik hai Geet…par tum sun lo…bas ek aur week uske baad main ek nahin sununga ….I want to hold your hand in front of entire world especially people I care for and love"

Geet – "Acha baba". Geet moved towards the counter to make tea for everyone while Maan went to fridge to take out some orange juice.

He came and held her waist. Geet's heartbeat raised as the cool glass touched her skin as Maan lifted her shirt a little bit. She groaned – "Maan"

Maan whispered hoarsely in her ears – "Mujhe bhook lagi hai"

Geet – "Kya cahiye"

Maan – "Tum"

Geet slapped his hand.

Maan repeated – "Tum jo caho…bas apne haath se bana ke do"

Maan jumped apart as the kitchen door creaked.

Nisha – "Are beta kitna time lag raha hai? Aur yeh Nakul kahan hai?"

Geet steadied her heartbeats – "Woh ma…Nakul has gone to market to get vegetables. Tea is almost ready"

NT entered as well – "Oh we thought you were milking the cow…by the way Maan why are you standing here…come outside and sit na…you must be so tired…hum log kitne dinon baad mil rahe hain"

Saying this she grabbed Maan's hand and pulled him outside. Maan frowned at her behavior. He had seen this too often to know what was coming. He glanced at Geet who was oblivious to anything. She also smiled – "yes Maan…you must be tired…you go, I will get something for you to eat"

Nisha – "Haan main help karti hoon Geet ki…tum log bahar jake enjoy karo"

Maan knew he was cornered. He didn't want to but just sighed and went outside with NT.

Nisha made tea while Geet hurriedly made some cheese and cucumber sandwiches. They went outside after 5 minutes. Geet saw that Naintara was chatting with Maan while Maan was holding his temple with his fingers.

Geet placed the tray for all to share. Maan immediately dig in as Raj sniggered. Maan said irritatingly - "What!!! I am really hungry".He munched on the sandwich – "Thank Geet, bahut acha bana hai"

NT did not like this at all. She butt in – "Come on Maan, it is just a sandwich. Easiest thing to make under the sun which anyone knows how to. And how do you know Geet made it. I will be surprised she knows even this especially after the amount of time she spends in office"

Everyone else including Geet ignored NT as they were all used to her nature. But Maan could not bear it. He wanted to rip her apart but caught Geet' eye which were pleading him for keeping calm.

Maan answered tersely and pointedly– "I know Geet has made it because I know taste of the food prepared by hands. I have eaten here enough time to make out the difference and she definitely knows how to cook. After all she has learnt from the best – Badi Maa. Waise bhi meri pasand aisi hi hai – I love cheese cucumber sandwich and they are lovely"
