Thanks dear for your comment. You actually caught a blooper. I was so lost in typing my story I forgot to mention that Rahul had gone to the hospital. I have covered it in a line in my next update. I also replied to your comment on the same page.

Good that I could keep your faith. I was so scared to post that accident update that I had to gather courage for more than 24 hours. I even bugged my husband. He even said why you are writing a note and giving away your story. But I didn't have heart to just post it without a background.

Thanks darling for the long comment. Actually I missed mentioning about Rahul going to the hospital in my update. I was so caught up with accident chain of events, it slipped my mind. I have tried to catch up in the next update. They could not get information as both Adi and Maan did not pick up the phones and it was chaotic at the hospital with surge in emergency cases.

Thanks dear…yes it was my first action sequence. My only inspiration was GC and his abs which I thought could do this. Whole kids thing came from a movie Prahar which had impressed me a lot when I had seen it long time back. There is a totally unrelated scene where some commandos go to rescue a bus full of school kids. I guess scene of those kids in the bus stayed with me.

Maan wanted to recount what happened but his voice was wobbling badly as his throat hurt due to all the smoke he had inhaled. Rishab stopped him and just asked him where he was hurt and his medicines.

Raj called up Rahul to come back from hospital as he had gone to get some information.

They started to take Maan inside bedroom so that he could rest when he finally asked the question burning him since he had entered "Where is Geet?"

Everybody just looked not knowing what to say. Finally Juhi spoke – "Shayad apne kamre mein chali gayi hai. We were all so worried beta so kisi hosh hi nahin hai. Tu chal main use dekhti hoon"

"Nahin, let me go and say hi to her so that she knows I am ok."

Before anybody could protest, Maan climbed the stairs. Though his legs were really hurting but his determination to see Geet was overcoming all his pain.

He entered the room to see a sagging figure of Geet huddled in one corner. Her face was hidden as she rested her head on her folded knees.

Maan whispered "Geet"

She did not respond. She was too dazed to notice anything. Maan slightly touched her shoulder. She looked up with red eyes containing her unshed tears. Maan cringed at the pain he saw there. Her eyes looked vacant and almost dead. She got up and caressed his cheek to ensure it was him and not a dream. Maan smiled and Geet hugged him tight. There was no stopping to her tears now and she wacked him on his chest with fists while resting her face on his heart. "How could you do this…don't ever again put me thru this"

She was sobbing very hard and continuously. Maan tried to comfort her but her tears only increased. "Bahut bure ho aap…bahut bure". Saying this she hugged him tight. Her hands touched burn marks on his back and an yelp of pain came out of his mouth.

She jerked away from him eyeing him up and down. She cupped his face in both her hands "Bahut chot lagi hai…kahan kahan lagi hai"

Maan didn't want her to worry much. She was already in bad state. "zayda nahin"

"chup bilkul chup….tumhein kya lagta hai Dr Khurana. I know ki right now mera haal bura hai but mujhse kuch chupane ki koshish bhi mat karma…kabhi bhi nahin…samjhe tum…ab thik se batao where are you hurt"

By now, Raj and Rishab had come as well.

Maan – "My leg and shoulders are aching badly with stress. My throat has burned slightly and there are some burn marks on my back. Got some nicks and cuts on forehead, arms and neck but most are shallow. Bas ab khush"

Geet pointed at her bed –"baitho…yahan baitho"

Raj – "Nahin Geet. It may be difficult for him to move around much. Let him go now to his room and rest. Tu bhi thoda rest karle…kya haal bana rakha hai ye…hmmm…hum sab hain iska khayal rakhne ke liye….waise bhi medicine leke so jaana hai isne"

Maan laid on the bed trying in vain to sleep. Everybody had fussed over him and finally Rahul had to drag every body off after he had his medicines. Now the pain killers were working and the pain was like a dull ache. He was lying on his stomach due to burns on his back.

He was trying to sleep but it eluded him. He felt discomfort because of all the muscles contracting now. He did a workout everyday and was still in pain due to physical exertion. He realized that somebody who was not fit would have not been even able to manage more than one trip due to slope of the ditch.

What had he planned and what happened. Luckily he had removed his jacket and the box was safe in his car. But as he thought of the bracelet, Geet's tortured face came in front of him tormenting him once again. She looked so lost sitting out there alone upstairs. She was always there with the family but somehow by now Maan knew she had tendency to be away from all when it came to her own pains.

He knew his entire family had gone thru a lot because he hadn't managed to call them. Getting accurate information had been tough and they had panicked. But then also they had understood when he had laid down the facts – "I know you guys went thru hell but your paradise is back. If I had stopped to call you the young boy who needed immediate brain surgery would not have survived and his parents would be still in this hell"

He sighed. This was not going anywhere. His mind was alert due to what had happened and his body was crumbling under exhaustion. He finally decided to call his mom so that she could help him go to sleep. He picked up his phone and stopped short "all were so emotionally tired. I bet she is still crying and dad must be consoling her and trying to put her to sleep"

He was still contemplating on what to do when he heard the door opening. He turned his face sideways to see Geet standing there. She approached the bed and ruffled his hair slowly. Her hands still rested in his hair – "Soye nahin abhi tak"

"Hmmm…koshish kar raha hoon par neend nahin aa rahi…body ache ho raha hai and my mind is too alert"

Geet pulled her hand back and slowly went out. Maan looked confusingly at her retreating figure. "Isse kya hua…Ruki bhi nahin"

Geet came back after 10 minutes. She had a tray with a bowl and scissors.

Maan –"Yeh kya hai?"

Geet – "oil hai…main massage kardoongi to neend aa jayegi…kya pehna hai tumne neeche"

Maan was covered by sheet. She could see he was wearing a black vest but his legs were fully covered.

Maan – "iski zaroorat nahin hai Geet"

Geet said being little teary - "Please Maan…kya mera koi haq nahin hai"

Maan could see tears brimming in those hazel eyes. He caught her wrist as she turned back

"Tumhein pura haq hai…I am wearing shorts…don't cry ad don't say that ever again…you have every right"

Geet nodded and sat at his feet. She gently removed the covers and started massaging his legs and feet with soft but firm hands. Maan felt currents of pleasure course thru his body replacing the pain he felt. She continued to massage till he totally gave into the sensations and relaxed completely. She moved upwards sitting near his wait now. She leaned to cut the straps of his vest and opened one side. She moved his vest to expose a well chiseled back which was covered with cuts and burn marks. She stifled her cry and fresh bouts of tear. She gently massaged his shoulder avoiding the cuts and burn marks.

Maan moaned with pleasure and pain as she worked on his body to relax him. Slowly he drifted into sleep as finally his body calmed under Geet's fingers.

He woke up at 5:00 in the morning to take next dose of his medicine. He noticed her sitting with her face resting on footboard. Her hands still lingered on his feet and he noticed a dry trail of tears on her cheeks. He tried to get up but felt dizzy with pain which hit him. Geet got up with a start and asked him what he needed. Suddenly Juhi entered the room.

"Maan tumhari dawai ka waqt ho gaya hai….arre Geet tum yahan kya kar rahi ho"

Maan - "Mujhe thoda dard ho raha tha so she did some oil massage and I dozed off"

Juhi patter her head – "Ja beta so ja thodi der. Ab main hoon yahan and i will give him the medicine"

Geet nodded and went to her room while Juhi gave medicine to her son.
