Part 13:-

They were back to Delhi'. They came from airport to KM talking all the while about the trip, their experience, the project and its benefits' they were involved in the talks that much that they didn't even realized when they reached home'.. Even after getting off the car Geet was speaking continuously and Maan was simply smiling and nodding looking at her'.They walk inside the home in the same manner not realizing the gazes at them' Dadima and Asmi were looking at them with half opened mouth in amaze'.. They both looked at each other and smiled at the people standing in front of them engrossed so much in each other such that the world around them doesn't bother them at all'. Geet behaving like that was okay for them but their angry young man in front of whom no one could even stand talking was far away is just standing and listening to the whole Ramayan of his wife and that too smiling' smile on MSK's face was the world's most rare event' they were shocked as well as glad'..

Both Geet and Maan realized the situation by the words

Dadima:- (in a bit teasing tone) both of you will keep talking or will sit and drink water'. Calm down yourself' you can talk afterward'.

They saw both women standing there with smiling faces' Both felt little awkward but Geet suddenly ran and hugged dadima and was about to speak when she interrupted

Dadima:- Geet bete before you start firing questions let me tell you I am fine and everything is well same as you left seven days ago'.. Happy!!!!!

Geet made a pouted face' Maan smiled looking that so the others' Geet looked at Maan who straightened his face and then step towards dadima' he hugged her and smiled at her asking

Maan:- so how is my girlfriend feeling now????

People standing there were stunned at his gesture and Dadima was overwhelmed coz she remembered the time of Maan's college when he used to be a jovial guy and was the heart of the family' he used to call her girlfriend and was really close to her but time changed him which pierced his dadima's heart but she was unable to do anything'

BUT finding her Maan returned after ages she was overjoyed that much that tears started flowing down her cheeks and Asmita too was so startled that she came and placed her hand on dadima's shoulder and looked at Maan with tears'. Maan was internally feeling something completing his life now' he was feeling happy from the bottom of his heart after ages'

He stepped ahead and hugged the two women and said

Maan:- oh! Common you two!!!! Now give me a smile I am waiting for'

They both smiled Maan kissed dadima's forehead and Asmita caressed his head and he said with a mischief in his eyes

Maan:- di plz'. Don't touch my hair'.

She pulled his ears and smiled.. All of them were smiling'. He with the two women in his arms looked at Geet who was smiling and trying hard to hide her tears but couldn't' she murmured a thank you to him which he replied blinking his eyes'. Asmita noticed their gestures and smiled to herself''

Later in the evening all of them were sitting in lounge and Geet was continuously blabbering the events of the trip, the places, the malls, the restaurants, the food and nothing left.. Side by side she was showing them the gifts they brought for them' Pari was extremely glad seeing her gifts.. Asmita and Sanchit were like "Geet you and Maan are spoiling our daughter ".. which she defended' Geet was so much involved in everybody ' she was so much attached to everyone.. to those whom she had never imagined to be the part of her life' Her life now revolves around them and most importantly he somhow was sure he was included' he was watching his ladylove from corner his eyes and was smiling to see her ' Navya noticed him smiling and shouted

Navya:- Mamma look mamu is smiling'. He smiles too.. yea mamu smiles mamu smiles'.

Maan was embarrassed at that time.. he at once stood and rushed out of the room leaving every one smiling behind'.

Days started passing' the home was same the KC was same the routine was same the people were same but something was definitely different'. That was not last shocking day coz they were thinking how could he change that much '. He started to spend more time with family' he was getting back to his own self which was leaving everybody shocked as well as happiest ever'.

Regarding Geet he was now getting more friendly to her.. They had become good friends' now Maan never stop her while talking and sometimes show concern for her too'. He was now use to of her' her care for him, her concern for him, her nonstop usual talks ' and she was on seventh sky as she always wanted him to be happy and he seems to be happier' however she was not aware of the reason behind his happiness but she was happy to see him giving chance to life.. she as per her usual nature became more friendly to him and started caring for him openly, teasing him and his anger and sometimes ordering him too..

Regarding love'.

Geet was for sure in limitless love with him not only becoz he was her husband but also becoz he was the best person she ever has met.. she noticed his acts.. he could never ever see anybody in pain' he was dedicated to the work he does.. he was trying to get back to himself. He was changing himself for his family'. Words can never describe him'.

Maan was however still falling for her coz he realized the more he love her the lesser it appears' before loving her he respects her , he admires her, he adores her, he cares for her and most importantly he has learnt the meaning of life from her '.. he whenever thinks of her he always finds a strong women in his thoughts' he realized the strength she holds in herself' he always thought his pain was biggest but now he realized that she had at once lost everything in life' her parents, her brother, her home everything but she still had the courage to proceed in life.. to accept the bitter truths of life, to respect the decision of destiny and still believing in God'. He was having his dadima , his di with him but he was living in his own world of pain, misconceptions, superstitions and has always blamed the life but she taught him to be happy with the way we are coz life never gives second chance.. Her qualities made him to fall for her again and again'

Day by day both were coming close'.. His changes were noticed by everybody in the house' His increasing closeness towards Geet was always a good sign for everybody'

One day Geet was preparing breakfast for him and dadima when dadima came and blessed her'

Geet:- good morning dadima'.

Dadima:- good morning bete'. Today so early?????

Geet:- woh dadima'. Maine socha unke liye aur aapke liye breakfast me kuchh special banau'

Meanwhile Maan came downstairs shouting for Geet'.

Geet:- uth gaye dusht danav!!!

Maan:- Geet!!!!!!

Geet:- ji kahiye

Maan was all ready for office'. Geet was shocked to see that'..

Geet:- today you are going on morning walk and that too in formal attire???

Maan:- Geet mazak ka time nahi hai'. I am going to office

Geet:- office itni jaldi????

Maan:- I woke up early so I thought''

Geet:- dont u know you think limitless... i mean the meeting is at 10:30 and you are not leaving the house before 9'.

Maan:- but Geet!!!!

Geet:- no if no but'.just sit quietly at home'

Maan:- you are ordering MSK

Geet:- that you are in office and after the boundary of the KM' this is home'

Maan:- why are you sounding like a sherni'.

Geet:- ab I live with a khatarnak sher so sherni attitude will surely occupy ne na'..

Maan:- whom do you calling a khatarnak'

Geet:- when you have understood whom I am referring to then why are you asking' aur haan abi behes karne se koi fayda nahi hai you are not suppose to go'

Maan:- I am going..

Geet:- dare you!!!!

Maan:- it is useless sometimes talking to you

Maan went to his library cribbing and start reading something while Geet became busy with her house hold chores'.

Dadima was amazed at the attitude of her grandson towards his wife is really changing' and the very much fact that amazed her was he became to obey her which he usually doesn't do for anyone.. she liked it..

One more incident which showed his concern towards her was '. One day Geet who was getting late for the office and was sure of the fact that she is going be scolded today by her so called husband who is no less than a Hitler for carelessness'. She was unknown of the fact that he was working at home and was waiting for her to come downstairs'

She was running ruthlessly down the stairs to reach office asap but missed a stair (as I missed when I fell from stairs last month'' experience teaches a lot😆😆😆) '. She was about to fall when her arm was held by a strong hand and she was twirled and finally was saved from the disaster about to occur'

Dadima came running and saw what happened'. Maan was furious he began to shout

Maan:- Geet!!!! Jab akal bat rahi thi to tum chhalni leke gayi thi kya??? Are u blind??? Don't u see what is going to happen in front of your eyes'. You were about to fall' its better you sit at one place instead of jumping here and there' moron!!!!

Geet who was still in fear now came back to her senses and listened to him and blurted out..

Geet:- Sab aapki galti hai !!!! I was getting late and you Mr. Dusht Singh Khurana will scold me hard for getting late' I was rushing to give you the file on time'

Maan:- this is good ... you keep the hobby of doing mistakes and falling again and again and when i save you you are blaming me...

Geet:- if you would havent save me it wud be you only na who ill have to take me to hospital so basically you saved urself...

Maan rolled his eyes ... but she was half right... he had saved himself but in other way...😉

Maan:- Geeettt!!! Now go and sit somewhere quitely!!!

Dadima was again overwhelmed by the concern in his voice'

Maan himself couldn't believe what he did' he felt now hiding his feelings is much more difficult' his case was unique' he loved her and was sure that she loves him.. aisa nahi hai was unable to say anything'. But was thinking before expressing his love he must apologise for his all deeds in past 1 year' he kept on thinking'

One day when both of them returned from office they found dadima sitting and waiting for them'

Geet:- dadima you still awake???? Is everything allright ??? are you allright???

Maan:- dadima is anything troubling you??? Tell me ' don't worry I'll handle'

Dadima:- stop!!!!!! You two are pathetic!!!! Let me speak

They both apologized' dadima began

Dadima:- bete' I know somethings are better to forget but we cant ignore the rituals' actually let me come straight to the point' Geet Maan day after tomorrow we have the death anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Handa and Gaurav' you will have to perform the rituals of the "barsi"'.

Both of them looked towards each other finding same pain in each others eyes and then knowingly smiled at each other'. Dadima wasn't expecting the reaction'.

Maan:- dadima!!!! You know that's why I love you the most!!!! Aap sabke bare me kitna sochti hain!!!!!

Dadima looked at him puzzled'..

Maan:- dadima' I and Geet have talked on this matter and we were about to discuss it with you' we will do everything possible'

Dadima:- haan bete!!! You are the only man in their family'. Not only as a friend you will have to perform the rituals as the son-in-law of the family' I hope you understand

Maan looked at Geet who was looking down and then he said

Maan:- ofcourse dadima !!!! as you say!!!!

Geet's heart missed a beat as he accepted their actual relation once again but she never ever expect anything more than his happiness'. She kept on looking at him when Dadima brought her back..

Dadima:- woh Geet I'll tell u everything tomorrow' have your dinner and sleep well!!!

Geet:- (hugging her tight )Goodnight dadima!!!!! And thanks!!!

Dadima:- no need bete!!!

Maan:- ladies!!!! No emotional scene plz''

They all smiled and went back to their respective works'.

Geet and Maan performed the rituals well holding each other's hand' both were in pain but both were the painkiller of each other's pain too '.. Everything went well'.

Next morning dadima and Asmi spoke to Maaneet about their wedding anniversary' they asked them to arrange the party' none of them has thought of the matter'. After listening to them both gave an unknown look'.

Dadima:- shall we arrange a party'. Small one not a big one' few relatives want to meet Geet'.

Maan:- they can come and meet her anytime' why to arrange a party for that'

Dadima:- common Maan !!! we have not had any party since long!!!! And Geet too wud be happy'.

Maan looked at Geet who was looking down but he knows what she wants' he thought for a moment'

Maan:-(to hmself) i could do whatever i was thinking of on that auspicious day' which other day would be better than that to express my feelings to the one i love the most''.. then he thought dadima is asking for a party'' if I wud say no it is going to be rude and if I wud say yes than mera plan gaya tel lene'

Then after thinking for a moment he said

Maan:- dadima plz let it be a small affair' plz not more than 200 people and only close relatives and close friends'.

All of them cheered' and Maan gave them an angry glare'. He stood up and went to his room and smiled to himself.

Maan:- ab dekho Mrs. Geet Maan Singh Khurana tumpar MSK ka jaadoo kaisa chalta hai' I would celebrate our day in my style and I swear you are gonna love it'.

There were preparations going on '. The whole KM was filled with the sounds of people for the preparations of the party'

But Maan was as usual not present'

Everyone thought he was busy with his work but yes he was busy in the world's most important work.. coz he doesn't have time as he has to do whatever he wants on the night before the party' he wanted to be the first to wish his ladylove'. There was lot of work to do as in lot of things to arrange and that too in a day time'..

He returned home late at night and again saw his wife drowsy at the dinner table' She saw him and then the wall clock'

Maan:- you know what???? All the work regarding Noida project is complete' tomorrow I have to go to Noida for final discussion'

Geet signaled him to sit and then served him the food and spoke

Geet:- Dadima will be angry!!!! Day after tomorrow we have a party at home' what if she needs you???

Maan:- I understand'. But this deal is very important you know that' I'll make sure she doesn't need me'

Geet:- but the meeting was planned for next week na ???

Maan thought "Mrs. Shukky"'

Maan:- yeah but it is pre-pond'. What can we do????

Geet:- do you need me to be there with you???

Maan spoke softly'

Maan :- Geet if I wud need you I'll call you right there na'. no need to ask ' waise I'll return by 10 in the evening'. Be ready as we have to attend a party'

Geet :- 10???? Isn't it too late'

Maan (known of the question) :- you must work at inquiry commision... phew!!!! yeah Miss Question Express it is a late night party' and since you are going with me you are safe'

Geet however knew that but she blushed at his sentenced'. Maan saw that' she stood up and went to the kitchen to do the rest of the work' Maan smirked'

Maan:- wait for this party darling!!! I'll heal all the pains I have given to you and I'll make you sure that from now onwards you will see only happiness in your path''

Next day he was busy whole day in the preparations of the surprise.. he planned it in outhouse so that no one could even think of them to be there so no disturbances'

It was 10:30 in the night' Geet was sitting waiting for him to come' she called him but he said he is returning in a while and asked her to be ready'.

Geet:- (to her babaji) babaji ye kaisa pati diya hai aapne... i dont get him... and we are going to celebrate the beginning hours of our anniversary in someone else launch party...

She cribbed...

He did all the preparations and was giving final touch when he looked at the watch '. It was 11'. He was a little late coz he wanted to celebrate the anniversary at 12 and there was lot to do before that'.

He immediately called Geet and asked her to meet him at outhouse,they will go from there only as he has some work to finish and then he checked all the preparations' She was feeling all his actions to be the weird most' but she sighed as she know him to be the most weird man on this entire earth'.. She simply went to the outhouse' It was dark' she was scared of the darkness but feeling Maan's presence there she stepped ahead and then the

lights!!!!!
