Maan and Geet are walking hand by hand on the beach. Both avoiding each other's eyes as they walked. Geet looked up and saw a full moon. She stopped in her tracks to admire the beauty. Maan smiled and looked at Geet innocent face. Geet turned around and stood in front of Maan and smiled. He raised his hand to touch her face. She closed her eyes as he gently caressed her face. He slowly traced her eyebrows, her eyes, cheeks stopping at her lips. She started breathing heavy as she felt his touch near her lips. She waited for him to take the next step then she felt his hand leaving her face. She slowly opened her eyes to see Maan sitting on the sand near her with his head down. She sits next to him and places her hand on his shoulder. He looks at her. Geet: Whats wrong? (she cups his face)
Maan: I have to tell you something.
Geet: What? You can tell me.
Maan: I have been hiding something from you ever since we met and I want to tell you the truth before we fully begin our relationship.
Geet: what. You are scaring me. (A light fog starts to close in around them, gently hiding them from their surroundings.)
Maan: Well, the truth is that I am not who you think I am.
Geet: Meaning what? Are you like a serial killer or something?
Maan (looks at her with shock.."Mana ki main logon ko apni badi badi aankhen dihkta hoon magar iska matalb yeh nahi ki main ek katil hoon...I kill with my looks not hands...wow what a great line. It suits me. No wonder everyone calls me DD...ohh yeah where was I...") No not like that... I meant to say that I am not an accountant.
Geet: What do you mean?
Maan (takes a deep breath..) I am actually the...MD of KC. (The fog starts to get thicker a little) I know you must be shocked but believe me I had no intention to lie to you. Its just that I had to keep on lying to cover up my other lie and I didn't want to lose you. I love you so much and I was afraid. (he turns around to look at Geet but couldn't see her...he gets up..) Geet? Geet! (The fog becomes thicker and thicker..."Where did this fog come from? and what is that smell?..." He scrunches his nose to smell...he twists his eyebrows together in confusion...then he heard a voice calling his name. He walks toward the noise... ) Geet? Where are you? (He walks around..) "Maan..." (he looks here and there looking for the source...he starts coughing...) "Maan wake up...Maan..." (He jerks his eyes open and saw Dadima sitting besides him..)
Maan (he looks at her with confusion): Dadima?
Dadima: Yeah, are you ok?
Maan (looks around the room and saw it was filled with agarbati dhua..) What is all this Dadima...(He starts coughing) What are you doing with pooja ki thali
Dadima: I am just praying...
Maan: praying? Why are you praying in my room? The whole room is covered with dhua because of your agarbati...
Dadima: I am planning on having a havan and Punditji had told me to do this as a first step
Maan: Havan? For what?
Dadima ("I can't tell him that I am having it for him or else he would surely kill me. What should I say?") woh umm just like that.
Maan: Dadima..you are not going shopping "just like that" you are performing a havan...and you don't perform a havan "just like that" without any reason
Dadima: I think this house has a bad eye so am just performing a havan for it. (Maan roles his eyes) See that is why I didn't want to tell you. Now sit straight...(she begins circling arthi thali around Maan while praying...Maan started coughing because of the agarbati...)
Maan: Dadima let me at least shower.
Dadima; Ok fine but come down as soon as you are ready. (Maan nodes his head..as soon as Dadima left Maan lied down on the bed...)
"Yeh Dadima bhi na pata nahi kaha kaha se inko ideas aate hai. Iska matalb joh bhi maine masoos kiya woh mera sapna tha? Maine sapne mein koyi mast line boli thi...kya thi..."(he sits down on the bed..) "kya kaha tha maine...I am what you are? no no..soch maan...aaj raat ko tum wohi line use kar sakta hai...kya tha...haan yaad aaya...I am not what you think I am...mujhe likhna chiyaye yeh line.."(he takes out a pen and paper and writes down the line..) "aur kya kia tha maine apni dream main? kya main use beach par lege jaoon? ladikyon ko wohi sab pasand hai...haan shayad mujhe usse lekar jaana chahiye...jab woh gussa hone lagegi toh main usse chand dikha doon ga...chand dekhkar woh sab kuch bhool jayegi...haan...yehi theek rahega...agar Dadima mujhe nahi uthathi toh mujhe pata chal jaata Geet ka reaction. Aab toh sirf upar wale par chod dena chahiye..." (He gets up from the bed when he heard Dadima's voice calling him) "Aur aab mujhe Dadima ko sambalna padega...aaj hi unko havan rakhna tha..." (He shakes his head and heads for the shower..)
Maan comes out of the shower and begins to get ready. He stops midway when he realizes something important. "oh my god I was suppose to buy something for Geet. Shoot." He quickly got ready to go downstairs to leave. As he was about to leave, Dadima stopped him.
Dadima: Maan you are not going anywhere without eating.
Maan: But Dadima I have to do something important
Dadima: I don't care and you are not leaving until after 2 pm.
Maan (shocked): What? Why?
Dadima: Punditji said thats why.
Maan; But...I have to do something important tonight and I need to prepare for it
Dadima: You can prepare at home and leave later on but not before 2. (Maan was about to speak with Dadima stopped him) Don't argue with me.
Maan (sighed..."maybe I will plan everything at home and after 2 I can just do everything right away.") Ok Dadima. Whatever you say...

Maan was in his room with a notebook and pen thinking of what to do. "Pehele main usse dinner par lekar jaoonga...haan poora restaurant book kar dena chahiye...kyun ki main koyi disturbance nahi chahata...haan...let me make some side notes...what else...(he puts a pen on his lip..lightly tapping it...) ohh haan uske liye sari...aab kaunsa rang..kya pasand hoga usko...hmm (he closes his eyes and imagines Geet in different saris...) No green, umm red..nahi nahi woh toh sirf shadi ke waqt pehene gi...umm aab kaun sa rang...haan white...woh uss par bohot suit karega...(he sits on a table and slams the notebook) yeh toh bohut hard hai...ek date plan karne keliye pata nahi kya kya karna parta hai...(He sits on the table..) aur kya karoon...haan maine sapne main hum dono beach par the...that is when I will tell her truth...haan..jaise maine dream main dialouge mare the waise hi main Geet ko bolo ga...aur haan I have to make sure that she is not wearing any shoes while walking on the beach. I will hold her shoes just in case she gets mad and decide to hit me. Yeah, I have to make sure that I have her shoes. (Just then Dadima comes again to his room..holding agarbati in her hands...she stands behind Maan and circles agarbati around his head while praying..Maan starts coughing and looks at Dadima...)
Notes:

Maan; Dadima what are you doing?
Dadima; Praying and warding off evil eye from you.
Maan; How many times are you going to do this? Before breakfast, after breakfast, before lunch and now you are again doing this. Whatever evil it was in the house now thanks to you it won't come back anymore. You probably scared the evil eye away.
Dadima ("He doesn't know the real reason."): umm I am just making sure. Make sure you are home by 10:30. It doesn't look good for a guy to stay out this late.
Maan (sighs): Anyway I am going. I have some work to do.
Dadima: Maan beta listen to me.
Maan: Dadima I have to go now. I will listen to you after I come home. ("Maan run before Dadima does another pooja on you...")

Maan makes all the arangements of their date. He double checks everything. "Ok let me go through my list again. I booked the restaurant, gifted Geet her sari, I have to make sure to take her shoes away during the beach. Don't forget Maan. Just keep repeating shoes equal beating...in your head...so you don't forget. Ohh yeah I have to get ready but I can't go home because of Dadima. Maybe I should just go to the mall and buy something that is much better then handling Dadima..." He looked at the time and realized he had an hour to do everything and pick her up from her house. He got into his car and hurried himself toward the mall.
He closed Geet's eyes with his hands and led her to a restaurant. He slowly opened her eyes and looked at her with a wide smile while she looked around the restaurant in astonishment.
Maan: Do you like it? (he asked in worrisome...)
Geet: Yeah! Wow I never had someone do this for me before. Thank you Maan. This means so much to me but where is everyone?
Maan: I booked the whole restaurant for us so that we can be alone
Geet: You did? I hope it didn't cost you as much. This must be very expensive to do.
Maan ("ohh yeah I forgot, I was not suppose to do this. I still have to tell her the truth about me being MD..I hope she doesn't suspect anything...") umm no not at all. I know a friend who owns this restaurant so he gave me a discount. ("Great another lie to add to the list...")
Geet: ohh...its nice..I like it.
Maan (holds a chair out for her...Geet takes her seat while Maan does the same..): So what would you like to have?
Geet (looks at the menu and noticed everything so expensive...she looks at Maan with worry..) umm Maan...everything is so expensive here...
Maan: Don't worry about it. I got enough with me.
Geet: Let's go somewhere else. I don't want you to spend so much.
Maan: Relax Geet. I am telling you just enjoy I have enough money to pay for all this.
Geet: Are you sure? I don't think that dhust dhanav pays you enough.
Maan (spits out his water): Dhust? ("yaha par bhi meri burrai kar rahi hai...sab Pinky ki waja se...") No Geet lets just enjoy this dinner..hmmph...(He holds her hand which makes Geet shut up...She blushes and looks down...unable to say anything...)
Geet: By the way thank you for the sari...it is beautiful...
Maan: hmm you have to thank me another way...(Geet looks at him confused...) you have to dance with me. (he gets up and bows in front of Geet holding one hand out toward her) Will I have the pleasure to dance with you?
Geet: I would love to! (She puts her hand in his hand...Maan leads her way toward the dance floor...both look at each other and dance the night away...)
Maan: Geet isn't it beautiful tonight? (Both were walking hand in hand on the beach. Maan had to keep Geet balanced since it was hard for her to walk sometimes in the sari.)
Geet: Yeah Maan. I love this weather!
Maan ("hmm ok this is going on like my dream. Now where is the damn moon." (he looks up at the sky and finds no moon anywhere in sight.) Yeh kya...no moon..great when I want the moon to appear it doesn't...now what...maybe I can do without the moon...I mean she should pay attention to me anyways...am I forgetting something? I was suppose to take something but what? (he looks down) "ohh yeah shoes equals beating...I didn't take her shoes away...") umm Geet it will be easier if you walk barefoot..you know feel the cool sand...it feels great...look like this...(he sits on the sand and digs his feet in the sand...) see it feels good..try it...Geet does the same...she takes out her shoes and sits down placing the shoes on the opposite side..) Note: Maan was sitting on the right and Geet was sitting on the left. She placed the shoes on her left side. "isne toh shoes doosri jaga par rakh di..aab main kya karoon?" (he gets up and starts to sit on Geet's left side..Geet picks up the shoes and puts it on her right side...) "yeh lo aab toh usne doosri jaga par rakh diye...poori raath toh main aise kabadi kehelta rahoonga..."
"Umm Geet give me your shoes so I can keep them together..."
Geet: umm ok.(she hands him the shoes...he puts them far away from him and makes sure it is not reachable for Geet either...) it looks like it is going to rain...you see the clouds...
Maan: hmmm
It starts raining..Geet gets up and twirls around in the rain...she looks at Maan with a smile...he gets up and stands in front of her...he touches her face...she closes her eyes..feeling his touch...she runs away and hides behind a tree. She sneaks out from the tree and looks at Maan who was leaning against the tree. Maan looks into Geet's eyes as she comes out from behind the tree. He comes closer and closer to her while Geet gets shy and hides her face with both of her hands. He slowly takes out her hands and holds her chin up forcing her to look at him. He bends closer and kisses both of her eyes. He holds her hands and twirls her around the beach..she bangs into his chest and looks at him. Maan puts both his hands on her waist slowly bringing it up toward her bare back. Geet sighs and hugs Maan tight. "I love you..." Maan bends down and begins kissing her shoulders...he twirls her around so now her back is against his chest...he moves her hair on one side and kisses her shoulder slowly moving toward her neck...Geet hand's tightens around Maan's which was on her waist...
She moves his hand and runs away from. Maan finds Geet leaning against his car with her back towards him. He places both of his hands around Geet protecting her while he kisses her back moving up. Geet hold her breath after feeling his lips on her skin. She turns around quickly and hugs him by placing both of her arms around his neck. He takes out her arms and holds it above her head while he kisses Geet's neck and her face. He puts all of his weight on Geet almost crushing her against the car. He moves away from her and holds his close palm towards her.
She opens up his palm and sees a small delicate necklace with a blue diamond heart...she looks at him with teary eyes...he turns her around and moves her hair to the side. He places the necklace around her neck while his fingers slowly touch her neck. She shivers under his touch. He picks her up and places her on the hood of the car. He bends one of her leg and moves her sari up a little exposing her ankles...He kisses her ankles...he brings out anklets and holds it up for Geet. He puts both anklets on her...he moves up toward Geet and sits right next right to her...she places her head on his chest...
Geet: Maan thank you for a wonderful night
Maan: Geet I have to tell you something (she looks at him) umm the thing is that...(just then her phone rings...)
Geet (hangs up her phone): umm Maan sorry but I have to go home now...it is getting late. Could you tell me tomorrow?
Maan: umm Geet no actually...
Geet: Sorry Maan I promise I will make it up to you tomorrow but I really have to go...
Maan (sighs): ok I will drop you home right now...(both get into the car..."great now Adi will kill me once he finds out that I haven't told her anything. Should I even tell Adi the truth? It is not like he will find out...right? right... first thing tomorrow I will tell Geet the truth...yep...but I wished she didn't have to go so soon...it is only" (he looks at his watch)..."11:30! Damn I had to be home by 10:30...ohh no hopefully Dadima isn't too mad...")
