Scene 60

The next morning

Dhruv wakes up

Ved not on the bed

Dhruv gets up and takes a shower

He gets ready and walks downstairs

Rudra's sitting in the living room reading some files

Dhruv walks upto him

Dhruv (smiles) morning bhaiya!!

Rudra (stands up as he looks at Dhruv) Arre Dhruv! Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?? You're supposed to be resting na??

Dhruv (makes a face) but bhaiya, mein rest karte karte thak gaya hoon!!

Rudra (pats his shoulder) I understand. How are you feeling??

Dhruv (smiles) much better, issliye mein aaj office jaoonga!

Rudra (laughs) Dhruv, mujhe nahi lagtha ki tumhare babhi aur Ved Tumhe aaj kahin jaane dehga!!

Dhruv (laughs with him) don't worry bhaiya, aap ho na..aap Ved aur Babhi ko mana lena!!

Rudra (makes a face) acha, tho tum mujhe apne babhi se marwana chathe ho!!

Dhruv laughs as Kavita walks out of the kitchen

Kavita (sweetly) Dhruv tum yahan kya kar rahe ho??

Dhruv (childishly) mama mein bhaiya se baath kar raha hoon!!

Kavita (smiles) acha, (walks up to him) ab kaise feel kar rahe ho??

Dhruv (makes a face) mama mein bilkul teekh hoon!!

Kavita nods and walks away

Later on

Everyone has breakfast together

After breakfast

Rudra gets his briefcase and is about to leave

Dhruv follows him and both talk secretly

Ved watches them

Rudra nods as Dhruv walks upstairs

Ved follows him

Dhruv goes in his room and get his files

He turns around to leave when he sees Ved standing in front of him

Shes got her hands folded as she looks at him

Ved (strictly) Dhruv, tum kahan ja rahe ho??

Dhruv (makes a face) voh jaan, mein office jaa raha hoon!!

Ved (sighs) nahi, doc ne Tumhe rest karne keliye!! Tum kahin nahi jaoge!!

Dhruv (pleads) jaan plz, Mein bilkul teekh hoon aur aaj apna pura khayal rakhoonga!!

Ved (knows he wont stay back) fine!!

Dhruv (smiles) thanks jaan, Bye (kisses her forehead) bhaiya mera intezaar kar raha hai!! (leaves the room hurriedly!)

Both bros leave for work

Ved comes downstairs

Nih sitting on the couch

Ved joins her

Nih (looks at Ved) Ved, mujhe aaj apni dost Vandana ke ghar jaana hai. She just had a baby boy!! Tum mere saath chalogi??

Ved agrees

Both sis get ready and leave

On their way they stop by the flower shop for some roses

Both are by the stand looking at some flowers

Nih decides on the purple ones

Ved agrees

Both wait in the line to pay

Nih looks around when she suddenly spots someone standing in front of the line talking to the cashier

Shes shocked as she drops the bouquet

Nih (nervously) Ved, chalo yahan se!!

Ved (confused) kyon??

Nih (forcefully) maine kaha na chalo!!(pulls her away from the line)

Both quickly walk into their car

Nih feeling very nervous

Ved (looks at nih) nih kya hua!!

Nih points her finger to the guy whose talking to the cashier

Ved shocked

Its Akash!!

Both Nih and Ved drive home

Ved feeling worried

Nih scared

Both sit on the couch

Nih (looks at Ved) Ved, mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai!! Agar Akash ne mujhe kahin dekh liya tho kya hoga!!

Ved (looks worried) nih, mujhe lagtha hai ki baath bigadne se pehle Tumhe Rudra bhaiya se baath kar lena chaiye! Agar tumne usse sab kuch sach sach batadiya tho voh kuch nahi kahega. Lekin agar Akash ne Tumhe dhoond liya tho musibath kadi ho jayenge!!

Nih (feels a bit relaxed) shayed tum teekh keh rahi ho! Aaj mein Rudra se baath karoongi. Usko sab kuch bathadoongi!!

Ved smiles

While back in the office

Rudra and Dhruv are studying bank files from a few months back

Dhruv looks at a statement paper

He notices something

Dhruv (shows paper to Rudra) look bhaiya!! Someones been taking money out of our accounts for years now!!

Rudra looks at the papers

He's shocked

Rudra (looks at the papers and then at Dhruv) haan, someones been taking money out of our accounts for years now. But its always been little amounts!!

Both brothers are confused

While back at the Raizada house

Kavita and titli go out to a friends house

While nih and Ved cook dinner

Both sis go to their rooms and do a bit of cleaning

When Dhruv comes home

He walks upstairs t their room

Ved sees him enter but conts folding clothes

Dhruv sits on the bed and thinks

He hasn't said a word to Ved yet

Ved looks at Dhruv as she walks over and sits next to him

Ved (softly) Dhruv, kya hua?? Tum itne chup kyon ho??

Dhruv looks at Ved

Dhruv (smiles but his eyes defy him) voh kuch nahi Ved. Mein sirf thak gaya hoon!

Ved (holds his hand as she looks at him) Dhruv, tum mujhe bataoge???

Dhruv looks at Ved

He tells her everything that happened in office today

Ved shocked as she looks at Dhruv who seems very troubled

Ved (smiles as she changes the topic) Dhruv, ab kaam ke baath choro. Chalo, tum ja kar fresh hojao thab thak mein khana laga dethi hoon!!

Dhruv smiles as he heads to the bathroom

Ved sees him go in

She thinks about what Dhruv told her

Ved looks sad as she goes and sets the table

Dhruv comes down and both eat

Ved (as she eats) Dhruv, kya tumne aaj lunch khaya??

Dhruv (smiles at Ved) yep.

Ved smiles

Both talk as they eat

While Rudra comes home

He goes straight to his room

Nih sitting there in deep thought

She sees him

Rudra sits on the bed

Ved can tell Rudra's mood is off

Nih (sweetly) Rudra, kya hua??

Rudra tells nih about the problems in office

Nih tensed

Rudra's thinking about who could be taking the money

Nih worried

Nih (thinks) mein iss waqt Rudra se Akash ke baremein kuch nahi keh sakthi. Rudra tho already pareshaan hai

Nih looks sad

Rudra looks out the window thoughtfully

Both look tense
