Scene 34
Both get out arm in arm
They enter the hall
The party has already started they're a little late
Dhruv spots Sachin from afar
He and Ved walk up to sachin
Dhruv- (taps him on the shoulder) hey sachin!!
Sachin turns around, hey yaar
Dhruv- Happy birthday (hugs him)
Sachin- thanks yaar, HOW'RE YOU?
Dhruv- Good
Dhruv introduces Ved to sachin
Both say hi
Dhruv- (gives Sachin his gift) this is from the two of us
Sachin- Thanks Dhruv
Dhruv and Sachin talk a while
Both havent met in a while
A waiter walks up to Sachin and says something to him
Sachin- (happy) hey yaar, enjoy the party, I'll be right back.
Dhruv nods
Sachin leaves
Ved like he seems nice
Music is playing
Everyone is enjoying themselves
Dhruv takes Ved hand and takes her to the dance floor
Both dance to janaabe ali from Bardaasht
Both are having fun
Dhruv swings Ved out and back in to his arms
Suddenly the music switches to a slow romantic song
Its pehla nasha
Dhruv stops and stares into Ved eyes
Ved looking at him adoringly
He grabs her by the waist and pulls her close
Ved puts her arms around his neck
Dhruvs got his arms around her waist
Both are dancing slow
Swaying left to right
Both enjoy the party
ved leaves to go to the restroom
dhru waits for her
He looks at his watch
He smiles cheekily
He goes up to Ved who was just coming out of the restroom
Dhruv- jaan, humhe ab jana chaiye
Ved- (confused) jana chaiye?? lekin hum abhi tho aye hain
Dhruv- haan, lekin mein thak gaya hoon aur ghar jana chatha hoon
Ved like ok
Both leave the party
They arrive back at the Raizada house
Ved looks at the house from inside the car
Ved- Dhruv?
Dhruv- (taking off his seatbelt)haan jaan
Ved- kya tumne aane waqt ghar ka lights off kiya tha?
Dhruv- (looks at the house and smiles) yes jaan , ab chale(gets out)
Both walk towards the house together
Dhruv opens the door
Ved walks in
Dhruv closes the door behind him
Ved- Dhruv, lights on karo
Dhruv flips the light switch
?SURPRISE?
Ved Shocked
