Geet walked slowly towards the stage as Maan stared. Geet looked down as she was feeling shy and sat on her seat, which was next to Maan's couch.
Maan- Good morning everyone. Today, I am sure, is a very special day for everyone in this institution. There are students who are leaving as skilled architects, including a very special person, my fiance, Geet Handa.
Maan looked at Geet as she blushed.
Maan- We are all happy for the students who are graduating and are sure that they will go into this world as independent, sincere, hard working and skilled citizens to make a difference in this world. All the best to all. Thank you for giving me the honour to be the Chief Guest.
Maan smiled and went off the stage. Maan walked towards Geet's seat and took her hand.
Maan- Mere saath betho. Vahan bethne ki koi jaroorat nahi hain.
Geet looked around, everyone was staring at her. Geet held Maan's hand and sat on the couch with him as she couldn't say no infront of everyone. Geet and Maan sat on the couch and Maan held Geet's hand.
Geet- Aap mujhe kyun chodkar gaye the?
Maan- Es surprise ke liye.
Geet- Well I am surprised lekin pata hain main 2 dino se kitni pareshan thi.
Maan kissed Geet's forehead.
Maan- I'm sorry.
Geet smiled and they continued watching the function. At last, it was time for Geet's speech.
Host- At last, it is time for Ms. Geet Handa to present her farewell speech. The whole entire graduating class was standing behind Geet.
Geet- For all those who have maneuvered through school and college, there is one day that we all have to face - graduation day. A day where you breathe freedom yet shed tears for leaving behind the place where you transformed from a boy to a man or from girl to a lady. Graduation day is filled with multi-emotions, you feel elated yet dejected. Happy yet sad. As this will be among the last days you will share with your friends and professors. The feeling seeps in later as the day concludes and you wish it never ends. Another happy effect of graduation day is because of our teachers who cajole and pamper us unlike their routine days. Smiles spread on every face, they tell us so lovingly that they had a great time even though it's not completely true. And then we realize that they are so flexible and lovable.There are also times on your graduation day when various your not so good friends come up to you and apologize for their behaviour. You are taken aback and fall short of words. They hug you and you hug them, a generous gesture to forgive and forget and also communicates that you are and will be a great friend. So you see friends and not so good friends hugging one another. Everything is possible on graduation day.
Graduation is...is beautiful. It's something you can never forget and you never will and you can't. It's impossible. Graduation is that time when you realize that you aren't a little kid anymore. You are a grown person, a repsonsible citizen, an individual who can make a change and will make a change.
(At that point, Geet had tears in her eyes)
A beautiful day comes to an end with hugs once again and promises to keep in touch. Wishes for a good life and luck flies in every corner while tear eyed students part filled with happy memories.
( Geet turns around towards the graduating class standing behind her.)
Geet- We promise to all of you, to this country that we will make a change, we will try our best to be responsible citizens, we will be responsible citizens and we will make all of you proud.
I wish you a wonderful life, filled with success, happiness and prosperity. Thank you.

There was a moment of silence, all of a sudden, Maan got up and starting clapping and then the whole crowd stood up and starting clapping.
Geet smiled and had tears in her eyes. She started hugging her friends and everyone was teary. After that, Geet went backstage to put on her black graduation robe and her hat. It was time for the final ceremony. In this ceremony, all graduating students were to sit on chairs and then recieve their diplomas and certificates.
Principal- It is time for the final ceremony.
Everyone got ready for the final ceremony. Before taking her seat, Geet kissed Maan's forehead and then quickly went to her seat. Maan went on stage to take pictures with the graduating students. It was time for Geet to recieve her diploma. She went on stage and recieved her diploma from the principal. The principal gave Geet that dirty smile of his, but Geet ignored it as she didn't want to ruin her special day. When Geet took her picture with Maan, he hugged her first, picking her up and hugging her and swinging her around, grabbing the attention of the media. Geet was still in Maan's arms, he had picked her up Geet put her arms around his neck while Maan's arms were around her lower waist. Geet and Maan kissed each other on the lips making it their first Public kiss. Everyone clapped and whistled and the media went crazy on taking pictures.
The ceremony ended and everyone flinged their hats in the air. They were now graduated students. They were no longer students actually, they were people of the society making everyone proud and happy.
