OS: A stormy night updated part 3 ,page 13

Rain was pattering against the window panes. And the occasional rumble of thunder just managed to break into Geet's deep thoughts. As she sat on the window sill staring into the rains her thoughts wandered back towards her husband. He was an enigma. She just could not understand him. He bore so much upon himself to ask for her forgiveness. And that too for a mistake he had committed in anger. Now she realized it was her mistake too. She was married. Wives did not walk out on their husbands for every other small fight caused inside the house. Of course she had forgiven him and come back with him to Khuraana mansion but their relationship still seemed to be under some strain. Part of this was due to her being adamant to make him suffer as much as she suffered due to his words. But somewhere down the line the insult Maan faced at her relatives hands took a toll on him. He was not the old Maan who just didn't leave an opportunity to get close to her. Rather, he behaved very indifferently towards her like he had no emotions. She had tried talking to him and also apologizing for the trouble caused by her, but he just excused himself never giving her a chance to have her say. For example, today morning she had tried explaining things in a letter and kept it next to his watch so that when he wore his watch, he would notice the letter on the table. That tactic again was up to no avail. When she entered the room after clearing the breakfast dishes, he had already left to office, the letter lying on the table untouched. And now it was already 8 pm, but there was no news of him. He did not even bother informing her of his whereabouts. Daadimaa had gone to visit a sick friend, but due to the storm she was stuck up there and she informed geet that she would be staying at her friend's place for the night. Dev had gone out of town on some business by Maan, whereas Annie had already left to London to complete her further studies. So Geet was practically alone at home if she excluded the servants who had retired for the day to their respective quarters.

Lost in her thoughts she forgot that one of the servants had just filled the tub with hot water and unless she had a dip soon, the water would become cold pretty quickly owing to the chilly weather. She went to the bathroom, quickly got out of her clothes and dipped herself in the tub. The hot water soothed her frayed nerves. When she looked around for a soap, she found Annie's so called seducing shower gel. She smiled to herself thinking about the incident of her failed attempt to seduce him. On impulse, she took the shower gel from the bathroom counter and applied it to her body. It was weird but the fragrance was somehow getting her turned on. As she closed her eyes inhaling the scent she couldn't stop the images of Maan working out bare body this morning popping into her mind.She would drool the entire day thinking about his workout sessions. She shivered in the tub just imagining him holding her waist with his hard muscled hands. Dirty thoughts took shape and she felt a sweet ache in her belly. Gosh! This Annie's gel was seriously driving her insane. After she shampooed her hair and soaked herself for a good amount of time in hot water she came out of the tub and remembered that she hadn't got fresh clothes to change into. How was she to get her clothes now? She wrapped the fluffy towel around herself and took a cautious step outside the bathroom into the bedroom, her eyes scanning the room to check for anybody's presence. When she was satisfied that there was nobody present, she came out of the bathroom and was about to go to the wardrobe to get her night dress when she caught her reflection in the dressing table mirror. Slowly she made her way towards the mirror. At first she was very shy to look into the mirror and see her almost nude form. Bit by bit she slowly raised her eyes to see herself and the first thought that came to her mind was, not bad. The damp hair falling till her waist and the towel scantily covering her body made her look SEXY, if she dared utter that word in her mind. Slowly she started turning round and round, striking different kinds of poses in front of the mirror. When she removed the hair from her shoulders, leaving the smooth creamy skin exposed, her breath caught in her throat as she saw the reflection of a drenched Maan leaning against the half opened doorway staring at her in such a way that melted her insides''''''
