Part 2:

Geet was super excited about Mumbai; she started talking to random people in the airport and on the plane. Most of the people didn't mind...they looked at her innocence and smiled while others complained to the air hostess to make her stop talking as they couldn't sleep. She didn't care what people were saying or thinking, she just wanted to land in Mumbai. Plus it's also been a while since she beat her dad in basketball.

She got off the plane and started to pace with her little luggage looking for him. Suddenly, two hands covered both her eyes

Geet- PAPA!!!

Mohindar- Meri Bahci!!!

Mohindar did come over whenever he could to Dehradhoon and catch up with his family but that was once in a while. Geet and Rano never complained because they both understood how important this business was for Mohindar. Instead they always told him to stay back if needed and not come over this week. Geet also had family in Hoshyarpur but ever since her dad had left, they weren't able to go give them a visit.

They finally reached home...had their dinner...talked for a bit...and played a one-on-one basketball match. They had to cut the game short...call from the office. She shook her head and went to bed.

Next Day

Geet got up early and didn't bother to see what her dad was up to. She knew he had already left. A small smiled got pasted to her face realizing today was the day. She put on a pair of denims and a white t-shirt and off she went.

Geet- Finally... St. Xaviers college! Wow...Ok Geet, let's have a moment of silence.

She closes her eyes and starts to pray to her BabaJi that everything be ok. Just then a bunch of girls continuously start screaming from the back.

Did Tom Cruise enter the building? Why are they behaving like that's the case? Mumbai ki ladikye kuch zyada ajeeb nahi?

She gives the crowd a weird look thinking what's going on. Kahi Tom Cruise sach mein toh nahi ageya? Lai kin Tom Cruise Mumbai mein kaise ahsakthey...mera matlab hai, ahsakthey...par aise achanak? Hmm She scratches her head and tries to get a closer look with her curious eyes scanning the area. Eventually she just gives up and turns to leave when someone rudely bumped into her.

Geet- Oye!!! Dekh kar nahi chal sakthey kya?!!!

Maan's eyes slowly blinked once and then once more. What went on in his mind that very moment...nobody knew. Probably not even him!

The girls had cornered them and were giving Geet dirty looks. They were whispering things that evidently didn't even need to be whispered...they were very clear with their words and obviously their intention was for Geet to hear. Maan quickly snapped out of his thoughts and realized the entire college was witnessing him being near some newbie chick.

Maan- Excuse me? You're saying I wasn't watching where I was going? Are you seriously kidding me?

Geet- Oh Hello, You bumped into me...You blind or something? Upar se behis kar rahey hoon...Great!!!

Maan- Do you even know who you're talking to?

Geet- Of Course! Aap ko kaun ne he jantha

Maan immediately gives his superiority smirk

A blind egoistic person who is not ready to say sorry for his fault. You know what, why am I even wasting my time talking to you?

Maan gets furious...For the first time in history someone has actually had the audacity to talk to him like Geet has.

Geet- Now, if you don't mind..Could you please move out of my way? I would love to be somewhere else rather than here. Arey!!! Are you blind and stupid at the same time? I'm asking you to move please!

Ok now he wasn't only furious, he was beyond surprised. This girl, whoever she was...didn't try to make any moves on him nor did she flutter her eyes and talk to him in a desiring tone. She just picked up her bag and walked past him...She actually walked passed him!!! Maan was dumb struck...he watched her leave without giving him her phone number. What?!!! No phone number? How is that even possible?

Everyone soon dispersed with a confused face. Most of the girls got jealous...

Arjun- Dude! What happened? Why are you shocked like you just saw a ghost...Dude!!!

Arjun...Maan's childhood friend. He's the person who looks after Maan's "Repto"...I mean that certainly does need to be looked after na?

Though Maan did have a huge female following...he never did flirt with any of the girls. He enjoyed the attention and popularity but doing the reciprocal behaviour back at the females...Nu-Uh!!! That wasn't Maan Singh Khurana's style.

Samaj thi kya apne aap ko? In an irritated tone

I don't know her and I don't think I even want to. This newbie chick needs to know how to talk to Maan Singh Khurana.

Even when he said his own name...the girls would faint.

Arey Yaar...She's a newbie loser, no wonder!!!

But still...she should have done her background research before entering this college.

I'm the hero around here...students worship me. Girls die just to have a glimpse of me and the boys...well they just walk pass me with their heads dipped low and never dare to give me eye contact. And this girl didn't do any of that?!!!

Forget her yaar...Just think of her as a nobody. Actually, that's what she really is. Aur vaise bhi you shouldn't even be thinking about her. If Sasha finds out you've been talking to this unpopular newbie chick...pata hai na kya karegi?

They both started to laugh. Sasha hated those females who talked to Maan or even went near him. Maan knew Sasha had the hots for him but he never moved past friendship. Sasha nearly cried that day when Maan told her they can only be friends and nothing more. Oh well...that never stopped her from trying!

Chal, Canteen Chal aur kuch ka lethey hai! I'm starving man!

You go, I'm coming.

Attitude huh? Aur voh bhi Maan Singh Khurana se? I hope I never see you around me again. And even if we do meet, it won't be pleasant for you!
