The characters dont bear much resemblance to the ones in the show... some of them are jus from my imagination...
Sarja stood up and asked her, "Niru, Ghar chalein??? maai ko humare baare mein batana hai..." Sure his happiness knew no bounds...
"Aap chaliye, hum aapse shaam ko milte hain... humein kuch kaam hai..."
"thik hai niru... phir shaam ko main ghar aaunga... chaupaati pe vada paav khaane chalenge.." he winked at her...
she smiled n he walked away with that smile on his face n brightness in the eyes... he was in love n she loved him too...
n as niru saw him walkin away happily, she turned n walked away with some thought on her mind... n as she thought of it, she smiled to herself....
As niru kept walking, she got lost in her thoughts... Her childhood, her parents, her ma ' baba, her three year old baby brother Neeraj, her friends... as she thought about all this, a smile appeared on her face... how good were those times... suddenly her face fell and her smile disappeared.... as someone rightly put it, Happiness is short-lived... who could ever think that such a dreaded thing would happen....
Niru's mother suffered from TB... there was no cure in the village... none of them even bothered to take her to the government hospital which was just a few miles from the village... she suffered and eventually died...
This left a major impact on niru's baba who was dependent on her mother... he loved her more than self... n now she was no more.. but he had to live... he had to fight against all odds, only for the apples of his eye, the symbols of his and his wife's love, his daughter- Nirupama and his son- Neeraj... he never let them feel the loss of their mother... they were given both, a father's as well as mother's love by their baba. They loved him and he loved them more... she had seen her baba cry in the darkness, longing for his wife to come back... niru swore that she would never leave her baba, no matter what. She took the responsibility of being a mother-like figure for Neeraj...
Just when things were beginning to get back in place, something really serious happened... the lack of rains in the village had made the farmers very upset... There was draught, n Niru's baba's condition, being a farmer, was not less than any other farmer... Lack of finance made matters only worse... Niru remembered seeing her friend, chinky's dad, being carried out on the shoulders of four men... wen she asked her mausi as to wat happened to chinky's dad, mausi replied
"Unke paas paise nahi the, aur unhe iss saal kheti-baadi mein kaafi nuksaan bhi hua.. is liye woh bhagwan ke ghar chale gaye, hum sabko chodkar..."
this made Niru worry... she feared if her baba would also leave them and go... she feared if she would be left all alone... what would she do without her baba... she shuddered at such thoughts....
N one fine day, the landlord came to harass the people to collect taxes... n those who dint pay the tax were severely punished... the farmers pleaded the landlords for some time, but when the landlords did not listen, the farmers revolted... this led to a lot of chaos in the village... and in the middle of all this chaos, little Neeraj had died in a stampede...
This was such a tragic phase for Niru... on one hand she had already lost her mother n now her baby brother... Neeraj's death had such a major imact on baba, that he became desperate and lost his senses... he began to behave like a small kid...
Time passed by, people began to forget this incident... but not Niru and her baba.. afterall, they had lost two important people in their lives... Niru had now to look after the entire household and also her baba, who was termed as a retard by then... she used to work at peoples houses for her daily wages and manage the expenses... but the taunting by the villagers did not end.... by then, Niru realized that the only way to shut the villagers' mouths was to take her baba for medication to Mumbai...
Finally destiny had brought her to Mumbai... but when shereached her sister's house, where was she to go? She decided to work under greedy albela... and in the course of time, she met Him...
She opened her eyes... she had reached Juhu beach... and she saw the love of her life sitting, lost in his thoughts... she walked and sat next to him and placed her hand on his.. he looked at her... she was indeed beautiful... she sat lookin at the horizon... it looked beautiful... she spoke to him without lookin at him...
"humne shaadi ke liye haan keh diya, sirf aapke kehne par... magar humara dil sirf aapke liye dhadakta hai... hume maaloom hai ke aap bhi humse utna hi pyar kate ho jitna ki hum aapko... toh phir yeh sab kyun??? Koi bhi khush nahi rahega... "
He looked at her and faintly smiled... "mujhpar bharosa hai???"
This time she looked into his eyes... n she felt her eyes getting welled up with tears....
"khud se zyada... isliye bina sawaal kiye maine shaadi ke liye haan keh diya", she replied...
He took her hands in his and said with moist eyes "shaddi ke baad bahut khush rahogi..."
"lekin pyar hum sirf aapse karte rahenge..."
He looked at the ring in her hands and said "acchha hai na?? Maine chuna..."
She just looked at him, in his eyes... she found pure love for her... n when he looked into her eyes, he saw that she too loved him true... they were lost in each other...
"I love u Niru, aur hamesha karta rahunga... khud ko kabhi akela mat samajhna"
"i love you too CHANDU... "
Chandu n Niru embraced each other, perhaps for the last time, as they remembered their past... their first meeting, their confession, their silly fights, their first kiss, the feeling of true love.... both of them were broken as they felt the pain of separation killing them..... n as the sun was setting, it appeared as though two silhouettes merged as one...
(Jootaas n chappals welcome.... but i hope i have not disappointed u too much... i jus intended to show a glimpse of difficulties Niru went thru... the next update will be abt chandni's past... hw they met n all that stuff... n will be interesting too... do comment n help me to improve)
