part 21...

The next morning geet woke up quite early. There was still a strange smile playing on her lips.

She goes to the huge washroom ans showers, singing away to herself. After about 15 minutes, she stopped the shower and reached out for her towel. AARGGH!!! she didnt notice that the floor was so slippery that her foot slipped and she fell backwards, scraping her arms on the wall and hitting her back and legs onto the rockhard marble surface. Ouch! geet let out a cry of agony. With the help of the side handles, geet managed to help herself up. She could feel her body aching and bruised.

Meanwhile, maan too is already awake and as it was seven a.m, he thought to just use the time to do his daily workout and exercise in his room.

Geet stilll whimpering a little, just managed to get her clothes on.

After a few minutes of feeling sorry forher poor arms, legs and back, geet decided that maybe going for a little morning walk could ease the pain. She slowly set out to walk just outside the hotel.

Just as she was trying to forget about her aching body, geet noticed that the roads were full of traffic. Cycles, autos, cars, jeeps.. it seemed so busy. Just ten her eyes fell onto a young child carelessly about to wander onto the busy road. chintu!! yahaa ao! geet heard a womens voice calling out to the child, but instead of listening to her, the child stepped onto the road.

Geets eyes then fell onto a car which was coming very fast in the direction of the child. coi bachao mere chintu co! the woman was getting lost in the crowd of people and couldnt run for her child.. Geet ran to the boy. Just in time she was able to pick up the baby and they both fell out of the way, luckily the child was protected by geet and she had held him tight and he had landed in her already soar arms, keeping him safe.

Mera bacha! the woman ran towards them and geet let go of the child seeing he was safe now. The woman helped geet up and thanked her with all her life for saving her baby. coi baat nhi.. AAh! geet had grazed her arm alot as well as one side of her back as she scraped it against the ground when she fell. She was bruised and begining to bleed too.

Luckily a young woman from the crowd was also working at the hotel, spotted geet and went over to help her. She lead her back into the hotel carefully and reached her to geets room. geet thanked her and wanted to be left alone for a while and the girl agreed - telling her she was very brave out there and wished her well.

After trying to stop the bleeding and applying some cream onto the wounds, geet got changed into a full-sleeved red suit as she didnt want her wounds or bruising to be seen by anybody.

She looked simpe yet absolutely beautiful!

About half an hour later, Maan called Geet and Adhi to the hotel cafe - to finish of some pending file and paper-work. As Geet entered the cafe a few minutes late, her eyes fell onto Maan. He looked so sexy in his work attire. He sat there looking so soffisticated opposite Adhi, wearing a sky blue shirt with a black waistcoat which did nothing but compliment his smokin' biceps!

Instantly Geet turned her gaze away, thinking to herself hey babaji! yeh cya soch rahi hoon mai! her face had shot into a bright pink colour, embarrassed of herself for checking out her boss. After taking a few deep breaths, Geet made her way towards the table, slowly as her legs were sore with bruising and grazes from the morning.

As soon as Geet came near the table, Maans eyes shot up at her.. she could tell he was not happy as she was 15 minute late. Geet your late! geets head looked down, she had no choice but to apologise. tumhe pataa haina ci ye tumhara holiday nhi hai! hum yaha caam ce lyi aaye hai! voh.. voh sir.. without letting her finish, maan carried on.. voh voh cya?! although geet was getting irritated by his behaviour, she took a deep breath and said im sorry sir, i wont be late next time. maan could see her attitude and too wasnt impressed but chose to ignore it. hurry up and sit. ji. As she was pulling the chair, geets arms were shooting pain, she didnt say anything, but slowly pulled the seat. Maan saw how incredibly slow she was being so instantly stood up and pulled the chair for her. Yeh loh Miss Handa. his voice was full of attitude and geet noticed it instantly and bitterly spoke thank you SIR.

The fact that geet emphasised the word "sir" made Adhi laugh a little before maan stopped him with his threatening stare. ss.sss..ssory sir adhi's voice became a mere whisper infront of this dusht danav. After settling in, maan assigned both geet and adhi to their own work, they all sat there quietly managing their papers when maan noticed geet was fidgeting alot and not concentrating on her work. (he didnt know it was because of her aching body that she couldnt concentrate or sit properly.). Geet, apne caam par dhiyaan do! She didnt realise she was creating such a fuss and quietly apologised and began on her work again.

It was now reaching 9.30am and the work was complete so maan ordered breakfast for the three of them.

Geet was just playing with her food and hardly eating anything as her ams were killing. Maan looked over at her and noticed that she wasnt eating, but chose not to argue about it. After claiming that she had finished her breakfast, geet stood up to leave. Maans eyes wandered towards her as he saw her leaving akwardly slowly - it was because of.. yes her pain! but he didnt know.

Just as she was about to get out of maans sight completely, the same girl from before went up to her and began asking her how she was feeling now and about her health. Geet replied kindly saying she was ok... all the while maan could hear them talking and began wondering why she was being asked about her health.

The girl offered geet to take her to her room, so lightly held her by the hand and helped her walk out, whilst maan was totally confused as to what was going on! But before he could go to geet and ask her what was wrong, they had already left and he had another call to attend to.

Meanwhile, geet had reached the elavator and told the girl, thank you apki help lyi, lekin mein yahaa se chali jaugi. are you sure maam? yes, thank you. the girl agreed but before she let, she told geet, maam agar aap bura naa maane to main aapke liye cream bhejdungi geet understood what she was talking about and nodded as to say ok. Just as she was about to walk away, the hotel girl accidently banged into Maan, who had heard them talking about some cream - he had no idea about- and was geeting quite suspicious with geet.

Geet saw maan and entered the lift quickly and pressed the 'close' button, praying to herself, haye babaji, please yeh lift bandh cardoo, nhi ta maan sir vee aajayenge!

to her bad luck, in the nick of time, maan stopped the lift doors from closing by stepping his foot in purposely. margi geet muttered under her breath as she saw him.
