Part 34
Maan left the engagement party in hurry and he directly went to the garden where he enjoyed rain for the first time with Geet, he still cherished those memories, he was lost in that sweet reminiscence. He didn't want to hurt Geet but he hurt her, his pain became unbearable and he was not able to sleep for past few days.
Geet went back to Henna designer and she made some changes and finally Henna was back to shape. Engagement party got over and Geet was completely exhausted, Sameer dropped her at her house and sleep came easily into her eyes.
Wedding was at the door now; preparations were going in full spirit.
Finally tomorrow is a wedding day, Geet was facing mixed feelings. Geet was happy as well as nervous as she didn't know what life had held for her. How hard she tired to forget but she wanted her family, her own friends on her very special occasion standing beside her, but nobody was with her. She was lucky though that she had Pinkey and Shasha as they were standing beside her in her all happiness and sadness.
Geet decided to visit temple before wedding to get the blessings of God as she was going to put a step forth towards a new life. Shasha and Pinkey joined her as they didn't want to leave her alone amidst all the craziness and nervousness she must be going through.
Geet was wearing very simple blue dress with silver border and flowers painted on it, but whatever she wore, she looked amazing, but today her glowy face was little pale like something was aching in her heart.
She screamed in hear heart, "Babaji, you have blessed me with those things in life which I have never expected; I have never thought that I would get a husband like Sameer but I am lucky to have him in my life, I don't know what is hurting me, but I am afraid as my intuition is suggestime me something which I am not able to decipher, I don't know what I should do, please show me the way, I am afraid how will my wedding take place without my parents, why can't I have a normal life?"
Tears ran down to her cheeks, she tried to wipe it through her dupatta, Pinkey and Shasha noticed her tears and they ran towards her with worry painted on their face.
"Geet, what happened? Why are you crying? You are supposed to be happy as you are going to marry your dream man."Pinky asked hastily.
Shasha read her face and she understood that she could be missing her parents or her own people as any girl would want their parents on her wedding day. As once Geet had told Shasha and Pinkey about her past in brief not divulging more details like Maan and Dev family.
Shasha reached to Geet's arms and gave her a nice tight hug and graced her with her smile and then said, "Geet, what happened? Tell us now; first sit down so that we can talk." They all set down on the stair cases of temple. Shasha continued, "Are you missing your family?" and Geet immediately looked at Shasha with a confirmation gaze.
Geet let out words from her mouth softly like murmuring as she still wasn't able to hold her tears, "I want my parents with me, I want them to stand beside me during wedding ritual, I want them to guide me when I lose courage, I want them to support me when I become weak, I want my Mom to ornmanet me on my wedding day and would like to hear from her, you are the most beautiful bride I have ever seen with tears in her eyes and then she hugs me like she never wants to let go of me, I want my Dad, who will look at me with pride, who will do my Kanyadan, who will say, that I didn't realize when my little daughter became a woman and now she is leaving our house where she grew up, where she fell down hundreds of times from her bicycle when she was a kid, where I had told her stories and then he hugs me with tears of pride in his eyes."
Geet was sobbing incessantly.
"Shahsa, why can't I have a normal life like any other girl, why can't I have Bidaai like any other girl, why? Why?" Geet asked defetedly.
Shasha replied her calmly while wiping her tears, "Geet, we all make choices in our life and we have to stand for our decision, sometimes we make decision for our life and sometimes circumstances force us to make decisions, now as you have make a choice to be here, you have to be strong, I am sure God is in your side and he wants best for you, so this is not the time to lose courage, this is the time to feel happy for your life, I know that nobody could replace parents in your life, but we both will be part of your family, your Mayka, and we will try our best to make you happy as much as we can, so now stop crying and save some tears for your Bidaai."
Geet, Pinky and Shasha smiled at each other, hugged each other and finally left for their home while having some fresh laddus from temple.

Maan was upto something but nobody knew, his each never was going through pain as Geet's wedding was near, he knew that he wouldn't be able to watch her in bridal wear with Sameer holding her hand and entangling her fingers, the thought of Sameer and Geet together generated an animal in Maan which was not controllable. Maan was not able to sleep properly lately for many nights, the one thought was echoing in his mind was Geet's wedding with Sameer, and his blood got boiled just by thinking about this image, he didn't know what he would do when it would happen in real, he was behaving strangely, he was talking to himself, he was screaming in the air, he was spending entire night by just watching Geet's picture, he wasn't even able to concentrate on work, he got sick also, he got high fiver, so much had happened. Her Grandma, Savitri Devi got news about Maan's sickness and she got so worried that she took the immediate flight and reached to Delhi.

THE WEDDING DAY:
Geet was getting ready for her wedding, she was wearing pink and white heavy embroidered sari, beauty parlour lady, Pinky and Shasha were helping Geet to wear proper make up and jewlery. On the other side, Sameer's house was vibrant with happiness and color of joy.

Suddenly an incident happened, everybody got blank. No one could utter a word; only one thing was heard in the air "HE DIED, SOMONE SHOT HIM."
