Part 55 Chopras won and Khuranas lose

"Meera, are you here?"Geet asked her while opening the door.

"Yes, I am here, as soon as I heard about your accident through Maan, I insisted to meet you."Meera said while entering in Geet's house.

"That is so sweet of you, Meera."Geet said.

"Geet, stop right there, you are not doing anywork."Meera said when she noticed that Geet was going to the kitchen.

"Meera, I was just going to offer you water."Geet said.

"Geet, I am fine, I don't need water, in fact I brough food for both of us. It is from one of the local south Indian Restaurants, I hope you will like it"Meera said cheerfully while opening the food packets.

"Meera, how do you know I love south Indian Food?"Geet asked her with surprise look.

"Well, I have my sources, now eat and don't ask many questions."Meera winked at her.

"Meera, you seriously didn't need to do this, you have been so nice to me."Geet said with gracious look.

"Geet, I am just buttering up my future sister in law."Meera muttered under her breath.

"What did you say? I heard butter. Do you want butter?"Geet asked as she couldn't hear what she said.

"Oh nothing Geet, I just said, you look like butter and I feel like I should just eat you putting in between breads."Meera said enthusiastically while touching Geet's cheeks. Geet laughed.

"Geet, do you have a boy friend?"Meera asked casually while eating food.

"What?"Geet bursted out with a shocking look like Meera was going to kill her.

"Geet, I didn't strangle you, I just asked a simple question."Meera declared with loud laugh.

"Well, I got that you don't want to answer this question. Well, I am fine with it. Plus who needs a boy friend when you have a hot and dashing boss?"Meera added with her gleeful demeanor.

"Meera, what are you talking about? You are seriously going to kill me with your questions."Geet said with soft smile but with serious tone.

"Ok, Geet, I was just kidding, and come on, I am not going to kill you otherwise who will decorate me for my engagement. Oh ya and coming to the engagement point, we are planning to have engagement on this Sunday, and I am sure by that time, your twisted leg would be fine too."Meera added.

Geet wanted to change topic as it was too much for her to handle this Maan conversation.

"Meera, last time you were talking about your cell phone ring. So what is the story behind it?"Geet sounded casual.

"Oh that one, Zara zara touch me touch me, it was actually our first dance song, in Canada, I and Dev went on our fourth date and this song was playing in the Indian restaurant, Dev asked me to dance with him on this song and I reluctantly said yes, and that was it. Dev requested me to have this song as my ring tone and he had the same, so that it can remind us our dance date for forever, anyways, so that was our story."Meera replied with her dreamy look as those moments ran across her mind again.

"Wow, it is so sweet."Geet said but Meera didn't hear anything as she was still lost in her moment.

Geet nudged lightly on her shoulder and she came out of her reverie.

"Oh, Well, I need to rush now Geet, as I have to get back to work."Meera said while wishing good bye to Geet.

Geet closed the door.

Meera's cellphone rang and she picked it up.

"Maan, I just left her house, you can't be patient right, yes she had food and she is fine. I made her eat so don't worry."Meera said with no pause.

"Ok thank you Meera, I hope you didn't tell her that I asked you to do so."Maan said.

"Maan, I know that you Khuranas always think that you are the smartest person on the earth, but let me remind you, Chopras are not less than Khuranas, We chopras rule the land of attitude and gleefulness so don't ask me unnecessary questions and let me get back to my work."Meera said with pride to annoy her would be brother in law.

Maan smiled and said, "Ok Ms Chopra, Chopras won and Khuranas lose."
