These lines were quite a bit before Dhruv said anything. In fact, if one were to read between the lines (Yes, I realize that it's easy for me to do so seeing as how I wrote it 😉), it would appear that Dhruv only recognized Gauri after he watched what was happening between Shiv and Gauri...
