So I finally got the time to read chpt 109/110...
Habaytha.. which means I loved it in Arabic ;)

I read it during dance practice (dekheh and shaabi) and I'm very glad for that, because
1) I was sipping on some qahwa (tea) while reading
2) I was wearing my dance outfit...tho my dance outfit is very modest..no slits or midriff showing...but I still had on the waist scarf on that makes the chan-chan noise :D
3) and some girls were practicing with zills with the music on...( I didn't see the youtube until just now :/.. I blame the IPad I was using while reading) but I still had live music ..😃

so basically reading your update during dance practice made it even more amazing

Now back to update:
I wonder where Maan and Geet are...maybe you can write for us a detailed description.. ;) pretty please
I wonder how Shiv will be able to keep his hands to himself, knowing his wife is dancing right in front him..with her legs exposed

The lights clicked on one by one overhead as the music started, this time something much more familiar to the boys. Before the light could reveal the identity of the new woman to them though, she had turned around, leaning one shoulder against the doorway through which she had entered and the other hand balanced on her hip that she stuck out in a lounging and provocative stance. The rest of the women lined up on either side of her, ripping their veils off… By this time most everyone's identity had been guessed by the men, with only one surprise...

Aarya and Dhruv exclaimed at the same time, "Neela!"

Before they could linger however (the women run a tight program, as women always do ;), the song started in earnest…

The mystery woman turned around now, mimicking Malaika Aurora's moves almost exactly from Dabangg.

Daling Tere Liye… she lip-synced perfectly as she extended her index finger to point directly at Rathan.

While six jaws dropped open, almost hitting the floor, one of them recovered quickly enough to give a high-pitched and long whistle. Everyone turned to look at Shiv, their jaws still hanging open, while he took his whistle-fingers out of his mouth and called out, "Go Bhabhi!!"

When they all looked back, they saw Senna in a gold top that looked like it could bring a dead man back to life and a glittery black skirt that was fitted around her hips and then flared out to just past her knees… looking quite Indian-ish as compared with the Persian-for-the-night damsels who were her partners-in-crime.

"Senna?" They heard Rathan exclaim just as she sang,

In the now classic Zandu Balm Move that had the boys wondering how a foreigner knew how to do it almost as well as the infamous Munni.

By this time, the five jaws had resumed from their journey down and were cheering on the performance.

Three more spontaneous whistles, one of them from Thalia… which drew another two from the male crowd.

By this point, the men were beside themselves with all the intoxication and cheering that one of them, the illustrious lead of this novel of course (who else?), jumped up in key to when the male voice came on, a natural through and through at improvisation…

Shiv circled around Senna as he sang, thankfully refraining from the jumping dance that Sonu had done in the movie, something for which Gauri found herself quite glad even as she laughed at his antics.

Senna sang as she twirled away from Shiv and then around him,

Bina Rupaiye Ke Aake Khada Mere Peechay Pada…

She gave him her back as she added,

She turned to run to Neela who was standing with her forearm extended out and "Kareena" written on it in large script, which brought about a bout of laughter from the boys.

"Haaye Haaye… Maar hi Daalogi Hya" Vicky and Dhruv called out from the crowd, joining in and following Shiv's lead.

Popat Na Jaane Mere Peechay Saife… Se Leke Lambhu Khada… Senna continued as she turned to her right where Gauri suddenly appeared with Aviator glasses on.

The boys laughed again just as Gauri and Neela leaned close to check out Senna's heaving bosom, just like in the movie.

A few more whistles erupted as Senna pushed the girls away coquettishly and sang,

Item yeh Aam Hui, Darling Tere Liye…

Rathan had clearly seen the movie as well, because he jumped up now to come to Gauri to steal her Aviators and wear them himself. Then he grabbed a bottle of whiskey from the table to raise it high as he sang,

Hai Tujh Mein Poori Botal Ka Nasha, Botal Ka Nasha

Kar De Budhaape Ko Kar De Jawan, Re Kar De Jawan

By then, Dhruv, Vicky, Aarya, and even Shashank got up as well, totally Talli, in a fluid entry that looked entirely rehearsed in how synchronized it was as they sang,

Honthon Pe Gaali, Teri Aankhein Gulaali, Haaye…

Honthon Pe Gaali, Teri Aankhein Gulaali, re De Hai Jiya…

Just as Senna did a bosom-shake for that, Rathan jumped in time to sing,

Tu Item Bomb Hui, Darling Mere Liye…

Munni Badnaam Hui, Daling Mere Liye...

Senna jerked her hips as she moved closer to him to sing,

Munni Ke Gaal Gulabi, Nain Sharabi, Chaal Nawabi Re…

Le Jandu Balm hui, Darling Tere Liye…

She extended both her hands now to point to Rathan as she winked at him.

All the rest of the boys piped in together now,

Baat Ye Aam Hui….

Senna answered, looking at Rathan again, "Darling Tere Liye…"

The boys were eager now as they pressed on, Be-Hindustan Hui….

She didn't pause in her movements as she replied again, "Darling Tere Liye…"

Just before the next verse, Rathan caught her around the waist, but it didn't stop her from singing to him, "Amiya Se Aam Hui…"

And this time, it was he who answered, "Darling, Mere Liye…"

She laughed as sang the next line, "Le Zandu Balm Hui…"

He turned her around to face him while still keeping his hold around her waist as he told her again, "Darling, Mere Liye…"

And he asked back, "Cinema Hall Hui?"

Before she could respond, the rest of the girls, who had been moving to the music in the back, suddenly sang back in unsion, "Tere Tere Tere Liye…"

The boys took that as cue to prompt with the next line, "Aale Badnaam Hui…"

The girls answered without hesitation, "Haanji Haan Tere Liye…"

Le, Sareaam Hui…

"Darling, Tere Liye…:"

By this time, everyone was dancing along, any shred of self-consciousness that may have been there, (a predicament that never applies to the gentleman who leads this story, but that's really just an aside) now mixed and vanished with the amount of EtOH consumed.
