Chapter Seventeen

Mayank and Nupur both were shocked and surprised. They couldn't understand anything. Shilpa called them for dinner. They were taking their dinner and chatting….

Shilpa: assa Nupur beta ye batao…….maine suna tha ki tumhare mom dad tum par gussa the…toh ab kya unn logo ne tumhe maaf kar diya………

These words reminded something to Nupur. She looked at Mayank. Mayank was taking his dinner silently……..

Nupur: ha aunty…..kal ho unn logo ne mujhe maaf kar diya. Thanks to Mayank.

Shilpa: Mayank? Mayank ne kya kiya.

Nupur: actually aunty Mayank k bajwa se hi aj maa papa ne mujhe maaf kiya.

Shilpa: wo kaise?

Then Nupur explained everything to Shilpa. Shilpa was feeling so proud to hear that her son did that……

Shilpa: wow……mujhe aj bahut assa lag rahi hey ki meri Mayu kitna badal gaya…..usse dusro ka kitna kheyal hey………I'm so proud of you son……..aur ye sab huya Nupur k bajwa se…..agar tum nehi hote toh Mayank kabhi itna responsible nehi hote…..

Nupur: nehi aunty…..Mayank pehle se hi bahut assa hey……bas maine usse rasta dikhaya…….

Shilpa: ha yehi toh sabse badhi baat hoti hey………Mayank ki dad tumse milke bahut khush hota…..

Nupur: Uncle kaha hey aunty?

Shilpa: wo kuch kam se bahar gaya hey……

Nupur: oh assa…….

Then they took their dinner with random talks. Maximum time Mayank was silent. After the dinner Mayank was going to drop Nupur at her home…….

Nupur: assa aunty main chalti hoon……thanks for the dineer…

Shilpa: okay beta…….ate rehna….aur Radhika ko bi leke ana……

Nupur: thik hey aunty ap bhi aye ga humari ghar pe………

Shilpa: ok beta….by good night.

Nupur: Good night ……

On the way in the car

Mayank and Nupur both were silent. Nupur thought that may be Mayank felt awkward like her. But she didn't want to loose Mayank for some stupid past. He was very good friend to her. So she decided to talk first……..

Nupur: Mayank kya huya? Tum itne chup kyun ho?

Mayank: kuch nehi Nupur……

Nupur: Mayank agar tumhe iss baat pe problem hey ki 5 saal pehle humari mom dad ne kya kiya tha……toh uss baat ko bhool jao…….hum kal bhi friends the…..aur aj bhi friend hey…..aur humesh rahenge…….

Mayank: Nupur……..mujhe ye soch ke bura lag raha hey ki meri bajwa se tumhe apna ghar chodna padha……..apni family ko chodna padha……

Nupur: nehi Mayank…isme tumhare koyi galti nehi………actually tumhare jaga koyi aur hota phir bhi main bhag jati…….so don't feel guilty……..actually uss waqt halt hi kuch aise the…..hum mein se koyi bhi uss waqt galat nehi the……bas circumstances galat tha…….

Mayank: hm…….

Nupur: ab aise muh kyun latkake beithe ho….smile na……..

Mayank felt so relief. Actually he was also afraid. He didn't want to loose her…….Now she was part of his life……very important part. After hearing her words he was smiling…..

Mayank: okay..pata hey mujhe jab pata chala tum bhag gaye main toh chok gaya tha….pata hey mera pehla sawal kya tha……

Nupur: Kya?

Mayank: ladhki kiske sath bhag gayi………

Nupur: kya?!?! Tumne aisa kyun socha ki maine kisike sath bhag gayi…..

Mayank: mera kya galti hey isme…..nprmally ladhkiya kisike sath hi bhagti hey…..tumhare tarah akela nehi……

Nupur: ha wo toh hey….wo kya hey na main thora different hoon……

Mayank: hm………aur thank you…….agar tum bhag nehi jati toh pata nehi kya hota……..

Nupur: shayed hum dono ko shadi ho gayi hoti……..aur hum dono ya toh phir ek doosre ka gala daba deti……..ya phir suicide kar leti……..

Mayank: ha ye sahi kaha tumne……

Then they both burst into laughter. All awkwardness washed away with this laughter. Meanwhile they reached Nupur's home. They bade good night to each other and Nupur was walking towards her home. But Mayank was waiting for her. Because he knew that she would turn back and he was right. Nupur turned back to him and passed a sweet smile and waved her hand for final good bye. Mayank also passed a sweet smile and drove away.

Days passed away. Mayank and Nupur's friendship became stronger. Now they couldn't think their life without each other. One day Mayank and Nupur went a restaurant. Rahul called them urgently. Mayank and Rahul also became good friend……..

Nupur: kya yaar Rahul.itna urgently kyun bulya.

Rahul: kya kare yaar……tum logo ko toh aj kal ek doosre se foorsat nehi milte..isiliye maine socha emergency call kare………

Mayank & Nupur: Rahul……

Rahul: mujhe pata hey ki mera nam Rahul hey…….bata ne ki jarurat nehi hey……aur maine galat kya kaha……tum logo khud socho……. Aj kal tum dono ek doosre k siwa kisi aur ke bare mein sochte ho kya…….jab dekho sath hote ho.......dekha aj bhi dono sath sath aye……

Mayank and Nupur both were silent. Because they both knew that how much Rahul was right? Now a day they both only thought about themselves…….they spent most of the time with each other. Meanwhile Sneha came and saved both of them from the awkwardness ………

Sneha: hi guys………kaise ho?

Nupur: thik hoon…….tu kaisi hey?

Rahul: bahut assa……..kyunki maine jo kiya uske baad toh use assa rehna hi chahiye?

Mayank: oye kya kiya tune?

Rahul: I proposed her. And she said yes. We are going to get married.

Mayank & Nupur: kya?!?!?!?!

Rahul: tum log itna shocked kyun ho rahe ho. We love each other…….toh humne socha shadi kar lete hey…….

Nupur: Sneha….dekh……main na ek bahut assa psychiatrist ko janti hoon…….tu ja.aur jake apna ilaz kara……..

Rahul; kyun?

Nupur: Kyun kya? Sneha ne tujhe shadi karne se raji ho gayi………she definitely needs a psychiatrist.

After hearing that Mayank and Sneha both burst into laughter. Now they became so familiar with Rahul and Nupur's Tom and Jerry fight.

Rahul: Nupur…..rukh main aunty ko kehke tere bhi shadi karwa deti hoon……..

Rahul's words hit Mayank and Nupur both. They looked each other. They couldn't understand why 'Marriage' word affected them so much. After a minute Nupur and Mayank both gained their senses. Nupur started fighting with Rahul and Mayank was enjoying that. But they both didn't know what was going to happen with them……they didn't know that their relation ship was going to take a turn……..something was going to happen that would change their life………
