Hey Sorry for the delay... i was having trouble of how to structure this update.. anyways here goes

It was early morning the next day, Geet was sitting in the garden thinking about her relationship W*H Maan. She always knew he was her best friend. But the relationship was much deeper than that. She loved Maan a lot, But could never tell him. She didn't want to end her friendship with Maan. The only other person who knew was her other best friend Arohi. Geet smiled and thought to herself how life plays tricks where one side its love but the other is friendship. She would rather be Maan's best friend than saying the truth and lose that.

'Geet yaar tu yaha betey hai meh tume kabse dondh rahi ho' Maan said annoyed.

'Ha vo main I'm sorry, we getting late, chale'

'aaye aaye memsaab sirf aap ki hi kami ti' Maan said sarcastically as they reached the car

'Chup kar aur gari chala aur agar tumne aaj tez gari chalai to dekhlena'

'kya karlegi tu'

'is chalti gari se bahar khud jaoungi'

'aacha'

'mazaq nahi karahi ho samjeh tum'

'yes Maam'

Geet and Maan arrived at the college. Geet smiled seeing her friends. They all dispersed and went to classes. After the class Maan and Sameera and Geet had a free period. Geet decided to go to the library

'Kyun library to hamare saat chal na' Maan said

'Nahi tum dono jao'

Sameera schoffed.

'Come on Maan baby' She said dragging him. Geet rolled her eyes and walked off.

'Maan, i want to tell you something. Tum hamare rishtey ke bare main kya sochtey ho' Sameera asked

'Matlab'

'you always put Geet first infront of me. Always. Ab listen how many of our dates have been interrupted because she needed you for little things.'

'So she my friend and friends help eachother'

'liken dosti ki had hoti hai'

'tum kehna kya chahti ho'

'Tum ko dosti ya pyaar chuna hoga'

'Kya main yeh kabi nahi karonga'

'Kyun, pyar pyara nahi hai'

'Sameera, I really care about you and like you a lot. But i can't leave my friendship with Geet this is impossible'

'Maan, Sameera bilkul tik kehrahi hai' Geet said walking in.

'Geet tum yeh kya kehrahi ho'

Sameera smirked.

'Ha Maan, dekh hum dost hai na. Dost hamesha rahengi. Bus tori si doori rehne paregi bas.'

'Basically tum yeh rishta hi bye wala karna chahti ho' Maan said angrily

'Dekh Maan, tu Sameera se pyar karta hai. To main kya karsakti ho. Main sirf teri khushi chahti ho'

'Aur tumse door rehkar mujhe Sameera ke saat khushi miligi kya'

'Maan dekh please. Sameera ke liye. Ab mujhe tere se koi baat nahi karne. Aur tum mujhe ghar chorne ki liye bi mat ana. main Arjun aur Arohi ke saat chale jaoungi'

Geet walked off. Maan yelled for her but she didnt turn. Sameera smirked. He then sat down and thought about it. It a way Geet and Sameera were right. He might need to notch down his friendship a bit but then why was it hurting him when Geet walked away, like she was walking away from his life.

That evening, Geet was in the locker room upset that she hurt Maan but she had to do this. Maan had already left for home. He knew Geet would not come, but he waited 3 hours for her, Geet saw this but ignored him. Maan irratated went home. It started to occur every day. Maan and Geet ignored eachother. It was like they both changed. Sameera spent most of her time with Maan. Geet was getting jealous. Maan saw it that she missed him and was jealous. He smirked thinking that Geet will come running back for his friendship.

A week later, Maan had enough. That morning he went to Geet's house. He greeted her father and brother and went straight to her room without knocking. Geet was was getting ready, was only in her half crop top and half leggings showing her stomach full arms and legs and knees. . As soon as Maan came in she jumped and turned around.

'Maan tum yaha kya karehi ho. Tumhe pata nahi, kisi bi kamre main ane se pehle knock karna chahiye. Oh meh kasie bolgayi. Tum to Idiot ho na' Maan smiled seeing his Geet back. He was mesmerised by her body and beauty. He stood there staring at her. He had never seen her in this attire before.

'Ladki ke kamri main knock karna chahiye.' Geet said she quickly.

'Oh Ladki, kaha hai ladki yaha to ladki hai nahi' Maan said smirking.

'Maan main yaha are you blind' But Maan was paying attention to her words he noticed something. It was a mark on her shoulder and hand. A bruises. Geet noticed Maan looking there. She went forward to pick up her shawl to cover it but she was too late. Maan grabbed it.

'yeh Kya hua'

'woh main main, ha sedi se girgayi ti'

'Jhoot mat bol. Tujhe jhoot bolna nahi ata' Maan sternly said.

'Mujhe jana hai.' Geet said avoiding the question. Maan grabbed her and pinned her to the wall.

'Bol yeh kisi girni ki zakam nahi hai. Kisi ne tujhe hurt kiya hai na. Tune mujhe nahi bataya'

'Maan wo main kal raat tujhe phone kiya ta' Geet replied in mono syllables. 'Tu phone nahi uttara ta. Agar Arjun Arohi nahi atey to...' Geet started crying and narrated the whole story to him.

Geet was in the locker room. It was past 7. Arjun and Arohi said they will wait at the car. Geet said she will be there in 5 minutes. Geet was humming a tune when the locker room door opened and closed. Geet ignored it thinking it to be some students. She turned and saw Arun.

'Oh Hi, Arun right' Geet smiled. Arun looked at her in a lustful way. He knew Maan and Geet werent talking. he knew Maan was no where in the campus. He thought to himself this was the perfect opportunity, especially after that insult he recived on his first day.

Geet looked at him and felt concious. 'Urm Ive gotta go. See you later' She said looking down on the ground. She turned to leave, when Arun grabbed her.

'Yeh kya batameezi hai hath choro' Arun brought her closer and twisted her hand behind her back.

'Chorne ko dil nahi karraha' Geet phone was in her hand. She pressed 1 which was a speedial for Maan.

---However, Maan at that time was on a date with Sameera, he saw Geet calling on his phone. She miscalled him 7 times before the phone got knocked out of her hand. Sameera looked at him. Maan smiled. He ignored the call, not because of Sameera but because of his anger towards Geet. He didnt want to talk to her at all.

Arun grabbed Geet and flung her to the bench. He got on top of her and ripped her shirt. Geet was stuggling to get him off. Her phone fell on the floor. Meanwhile, Arjun and Arohi realised that Geet was taking a long time. They tried ringing her but her phone was off. They decided to go to the locker room. Meanwhile Arun kept carresing Geet's body with his hands feeling her. Geet was getting disgusted. She stuggled. He held her down with one hand and opened his jeans with the other. Geet closed her eyes scared and horrified as he lifted her skirt. Geet screamed. Arjun who was right outside the locker room heard it. He ran in and broke the door down which was locked. Arohi ran in aferwards. He saw Arun and Geet. Geet crying scared and in such a position. Arun trying to forcehimself upon her. Arjun got really angry. He treated Geet as a sister ever since the day she tied a rakhi on him. He ran to Arun and punched him and fought with him meanwhile, Arohi consoled Geet. Arohi saw bruise marks on Geet's arms and shoulder. She thanked God that she and Arjun reached Geet just in time. Police were called and Arun was arrested. He was wanteed by police for other crime related offenses. Arjun saw Geet, her shirt was torn. Her hair was messy. He was angry. He took of his jacket and gave it to Geet. Arohi helped her into it and sat with her all the way home. They went to Arohi's house first where Geet got changed into Arohi's clothes as she didnt want to alarm her family. Arjun then dropped Geet home. Geet didn't come college for the next day tired and resting. Arohi and Arjun came over to stay with her. Maan realised she was missing and was aware of missing her but he was still angry.

=Present=

Geet broke down and sat on the floor. Maan was really angry at Arun and more at himself. If he was there with Geet then nothing would have happened. He banged his hand on the wall. It was because of his ego, he didnt reach Geet. Because of him she was hurt. He picked Geet up from the floor and put her on the bed. She was still upset.

'Awee Meri pyari Geet roh rahi hai. Bilkul ek choti se baby ke tarah' Maan said trying to change her mood.

'Main baby nahi ho samjeh. I mean why do you all treat me like one'

'acha to tumhara room pink kyun hai aur yeh sari teddies omg' He said pretending to exclaim. Maan took medicine for Geet's marks on her arms and shoulders and applied it. As he touched her skin, he felt goosebumps and so did Geet. It felt like something had changed between them. They had come closer. something else stirred in there mind.
