Hello guys!! yes i am finally back with an update!! soo sorry really i know it's been forever hope u haven't forgotten it!! Just been so busy with college but i really wanted to give u guys an update for Valentine's day!! I am kind of late but hey better late then never😆!! Part 9
Recap:
Maan picked her up and took her in his room. He put her on the bed and covered her with his blanket. He then went to sleep on the sofa in the living room.
Geet got up in the morning hugging her blanket close. But for some reason it had a different smell. It smelt like cologne and it felt softer like she was covered with someone's strong arms.
Geet: Wait a second, wait a second she thought rubbing her eyes, this wasn't her room!! Then she recalled the events of last night..but she last remembered herself at the table with Maan!! How had she gotten here? Maan mujhe laya..she said in a whisper'par why his room??
Part 9:
Geet rubbed her eyes and got up from the very comfortable bed. The smell of his blanket was intoxicating and she just wanted to hug it close. Trying to avoid the crazy thoughts in her mind, Geet quickly got up from the bed adjusting the buttons of Maan's shirt which she was still wearing.
She looked at the window and saw that although there was more then a foot of snow on the ground, it had now reduced to flurries and she could finally head back to her apartment. She grabbed her now dry coat from the heater and put it on.
She headed out to the living room and she stopped in her tracks. She couldn't help but blush at the sight in front of her eyes.
Maan was sprawled across the couch wearing his black vest. One leg was on the floor another on top of the handles of the couch. The sheet that he was covering himself with now lay on the floor. It was both an amusing and adorable sight and Geet saw his face which looked so peaceful and perfect even while asleep.
She went closer staring at him. She then proceeded to pick the sheet up from the floor and cover him with it. She was just putting the sheet right above his neck when Maan's hand grabbed hers in his sleep as he mumbled something that she couldn't make out. He was just trying to pull the sheet up closer around him but in doing so he actually pulled her hand.
Geet felt quite uncomfortable because his constant pull had made her face come quite close to his, so close that she could just about kiss his right cheek.
She contemplated doing this and then slapped herself mentally for even having such thoughts. She tried to figure out how she would get her hand out of Maan's hold. After repeated attempts which just didn't seem to work, she decided to pinch him. She took her right hand and pinched his hand that was soo tightly holding hers.
Startled Maan got up quickly: Ahhh!! Ouch!!
Geet got up away from him right away.
Geet: Sorry'I was just'
Maan: Is this the way you wake people up?? By pinching them..really Geet I really didn't think you would be such an abuser.
Geet: Well actually you were the one that was'.she blushed at the thought of explaining to him..well I was just putting the covers back on you but you held my hand.
Maan: I what?! He said running his hand over his head.
Geet: Yea and you were saying something too..I couldn't tell though what it was, were you having a bad dream? Geet said teasingly as if he were a little boy who had just been woken up from a bad dream.
He had been dreaming that Geet was walking away from him and he had held her hand and was saying "Geet, please mat jao"..he didn't realize that he was saying these things in real.
Maan: Oh sorry, I actually never realized I do such things..like talk in my sleep and all'haha no one ever sleeps with me you know'.
Geet: What?!
Maan: I mean not in that way..you know what I mean..like no one has ever told me before..yea he said nervously.
Anyway I see that you are ready to leave..don't you want to have some breakfast?
Geet: No thanks, I really should get going now.
Maan: Ok I'll accompany you.
Geet: No it's really not necessary, she said trying to avoid more awkward situations with him which just seemed to keep on happening.
Maan: It's the least I can do with all that you did for me last night.
Geet: Well you gave up your bed for me, that was very sweet, you didn't have to, she smiled.
Maan: Wouldn't let you sleep on the couch now would I? Anyway it's always the guy sleeping on the couch isn't it. He smiled.
Geet laughed.
They headed out of the building, onto the sidewalk that was filled with snow. Their feet were deep in snow and they managed to walk a block over.
Geet was almost in front of her apartment when she slipped on some ice. She was about to fall into the snow and Maan in his attempt to grab her fell with her.
There they lay in the snow in each others arms. Maan's arms were wrapped around Geet's waist and now they were in the snow.
Maan tried getting up but it was hard taking his hands out from behind Geet.
Maan was just trying to get up when Trish came out of the building.
Trish saw the sight in front of her'Maan on top of Geet in the snow she just had other things on her mind.
Trish: Well well well what's going on here? Some bam chika wam wam in the snow eh'.ooo it's getting hot in here, she said fanning herself!
Geet stared Trish down: Trish can you stop your nautanki and come and help us up.
Just then Sharon came out.
Sharon: Oh Geet are you alright, she quickly went to Maan and Geet and helped them up.
Maan got up and dusted the snow off his jeans and Sharon helped Geet up.
Maan: Geet are you alright?
Geet: Yea I am fine.
Trish: Waisay Geet kya kar rahi thi snow mein? It seemed like you had no intention to get up anytime soon.
Geet blushed but then thought of a perfect comeback for Trish.
Geet: Actually Trish I was making snow angels you know, yea Maan and I were like why not enjoy a bit? Kyun Maan?
Maan: Yea, why not? He said confused and a bit lost in the conversation the girls were having.
Trish: Acha tere aisay enjoy karnay ki umar hai! Sab samajthi hoon main, she said sarcastically, let's go inside and then I'll show you. She said pulling Geet's arm.
Maan: Ahh Geet..Maan called after her..he wanted to say something to her but she was pulled inside by Trish.
Geet looked back at Maan over her shoulder and he winked at her she smiled and turned around right away making sure that Trish wouldn't notice her reaction.
Vicky came out of the apartment and said goodbye to Trish, and then met up with Maan.
Vicky: Dude how are you feeling now? Vicky said to a dazed Maan who was still lost in thoughts of Geet. Maan you ok there? Vicky waved his hand in front of Maan's face.
Maan: Yea, yea I'm ok, just hungry..didn't have breakfast. He kept smiling for no particular reason.
Vicky: Ok chal saath mein karlaythay hain, I'll help you fix up something at your place. Vicky sensed something fishy as he knew Maan definitely wasn't behaving like himself.
Meanwhile the girls entered their apartment.
Geet took off her coat and settled down on the couch'only to be startled by Trish's scream!
Trish: OH MY GOD!!! Ahhh
Sharon: What what happened? Is there a mouse kya? Where where she said jumping on the couch!
Trish: Mouse nahi Geet ko dekh!!
Geet: What now Trish?!
Trish moved over to Geet and pulled her shirt by the collar.
Trish: Oh acha ji zyada bholi mat ban, yeh kya hai?
Geet: Woh actually mainay tank top pehni hui thi and then some soup spilled on my coat'and Maan'
Trish: Zyada explanation denay ki zaroorat nahi main sab samajthi hoon.
Sharon: Yea Geet..hum tum ek kamre mein band ho..just wow'bata na kya kya hua?
Trish: OMG tunay uski shirt pehni hai matlab pakka kuch hua hai, wow!! Tut oh chupi rustam nikli Geet!!
Geet: You guys are getting it all wrong! Uff nothing happened!!
Trish: Oh really, then why is this shirt ripped, huh?! Oh Geet tu resist kar rahi thi kya!! Uff yaar itna hot ladka aur tub hi na totally pagal!!
Geet was blushing now!! Ok enough!! Why do I even bother explaining to you two, think whatever you want I am going!!
Trish and Sharon hi-fi each other.
Sharon: Sharma gayi main hai hai, she winked at Trish!!
The next day Trish and Sharon go out to make preparation for the Secret Santa gift exchange.
Geet had just come out of the shower, her hair still wet and was making herself a cup of coffee. Just then she heard a knock on the door. She assumed it was Trish and rushed with her cup of coffee in her hand to open the door.
She opened it and didn't look at who was in front of her and as she turned around, her wet locks swished across, Maan's face.
Maan: Ouch.
As soon as Geet heard Maan's voice, startled, she turned around and bumped right into him, tripping on the rug in front of the door. As expected the coffee spilled on Maan's dark blue shirt.
Geet: OMG I didn't realize it woul be you I am so sorry.
Maan: Ahh it's ok, Maan said shaking his hand. The coffee had spilled on his hand too.
Geet saw Maan's hand getting all red.
Geet: OMG come with me she said grabbing him by his other hand and putting his hand under cold water.
Then she saw that the hot coffee was all over his shirt too and seeping though it to his chest.
Maan: Ahh, he said in putting his hand over the area, but his hand was still very red.
Geet: I am soo soo sorry!! Uhmmm ahh let me help you. Geet said shyly as she helped Maan open the buttons to his shirt.
Geet was getting all nervous and shy doing this and Maan couldn't help but smile. He tried to ease up the mood.
Maan: This is very dj vu don't you think? I spilled the soup on you, you spilled coffee, I helped you unbutton my shirt..now you are unbuttoning mine, he winked'guess we are even now..in that respect, he chuckled.
Geet had helped Maan take his shirt off, but his vest was all wet as well..
Geet: Umm? Geet said confused as to what to do.
Maan: Don't worry I can manage this myself he said using one hand to get his arms out of the vest.
Geet: It was then that Geet saw his well-toned body and abs. Althought she fel shameless doing so she had to admit it was quite a sight. She realized she just may have been checking him out to long, and she quickly looked into his eyes which spoke mischief.
Geet: Ahh I'll get you a towel and a shirt'. She quickly went to her room, she felt her cheeks warm up and had to get away from him fast.
Just the Trish who had forgotten her keys near the door stepped in.
She saw Maan's topless back to the door and quickly just sneaked in and out!
Trish (to herself outside the door): Hmmm'very fast Geet..akhir tu ne abs dekh hi liye!! I am proud of you..tujhay toh main bad mein dekhlongi, abhi tu enjoy kar, she laughed and ran out.
Geet got Maan a towel and he went to the bathroom to clean himself up. She got him the white Armani shirt that was her secret santa gift for him, she thought it better to give it to him now, as she was sure he wouldn't want to walk out of here with girl's clothes on.
He came out of the bathroom and she gave him the shirt.
When he had the white shirt on, Geet could still make out his abs as the shirt was see-though and he no longer was wearing a vest underneath.
Geet tried to get her mind off of Maan and his perfect body, but it was proving to be a hard task.
Maan smirked at her uneasiness.
Maan: Wow this is a very nice shirt.
Geet: Yea actually I was supposed to be you secret santa and that was my gift for you.
Maan: Oh really well then I guess this is the perfect time, since my santa gave me something I guess her santa should give her something also then? He picked up the red Christmas gift bag he had brought with him.
Maan: Actually Geet I wanted to give you this gift and also ask you something..he said walking up to her inches away.
Geet: Wh..What?! she said moving back and bumping into a table.
