Pia was in shock. What was that? Had Abjay Raichand just saved her life? Or was this just another one of the million supposed hallucinations she had had ever since she met him?

She felt a tiny bit dizzy. Just as she was about to fall forward, he immediately snaked one arm around his waist, and with the other held his hand. As if wanting to make the sparks flying literal, the broken chandelier sputtered and then sent a few lights in their direction. Abhay immediately moved backwards, and so did Pia. To the entire room it looked like Pia was in Abhay's arms.

Picture perfect.

Feeling a certain annoying feeling called jealousy creeping up on him, Kabir took away Pia from Abhay. 'Thanks dude," he said gruffly, 'but she's safe now.'

Abhay straightened up, his I-don't-care expression back. 'Whatever,' he said as arrogantly as he could and walked away.

As Kabir and Misha fussed over a now-slowly awakening Pia, Abhay remembered how once he and Maithili had been dancing..and he had caught her in his arms as she had mistakenly tripped. She had never been a good dancer-but he had always been her protector. And now he felt the same sense of duty towards Pia.

It was funny how no one ever realised that that strange fellow who Maithili always hung out with was him-except themselves.

And it was more funny how now everyone knew how attracted he and Pia were to each other-again except themselves.

Okay.. And imagine Raj as Yuvi, okay!? When I started writing this story, I had no idea about AY.. Now I do, so I imagine Raj as.. Raj Singh Arora, himself, aka Yuvi! 😳 Am I making sense?

Indieee! Awesome part, babes!! 🤗I love the way you portray Pia and Abhay's feelings! And I loved the last two lines.. Everyone could feel the attraction, the connection.. except themselves! 😳😳
