PART 19

In the corner of the room

Danish - (Whispering) ''You did that, didn't you?''

Raj nodded.

Danish - (Angrily) ''They could have died!''

Raj - (Calmly) ''We needed to take the risk.. And besides, they didn't die. That's what matters, right?''

Danish - ''Why did you do that?''

Raj - (Snorts) ''Pia. Do you really think that girl is just another girl who happens to be looking like Maithali?'' (Angrily) ''No! There is a mystery, Danish, There always has been a mystery regarding Maithali's death; and I don't know why?, but this girl gives me a aura of intrigue and mystery.. I don't know why Danish?, but I can't stop thinking that this girl is Maithali!''

Danish - (Retorts angrily but silently) ''You know that girl can't be Maithali, Raj! Don't be stupid.. Maithali is long dead, and she is a human, forgod's sake!''

Raj - (Sarcastically) ''How do you know Maithali is dead? Apparently, people have seen her grave, but nobody is sure, are they? Nobody lived long enough to confirm Maithali's death! And if Pia is a human, how did she manage to avoid the chandelier like that? She moved like the wind!''

Danish - (Tensed) ''I would have said it is a co-incidence, had she not been Maithali's doppleganger! I'm still not convinced she is Maithali, disguised as a human to take revenge from us!''

Raj - ''I'm not convinced, either. I'm just putting a point forward.. And her movements to escape death at a supernatural speed, it just confirms that something is not quite humanly out there..We need to keep an eye on her, Danish! If she really turns out to be Maithali, you know our entire clan is dead!''

Danish - ''What about the guy with her?''

Raj - (Shaking his head) ''That's just some arrogant brathead, Abhay Raichand! He has certainly nothing to do with us.. Maybe he has some interest in Maithali.. err, Pia or something.. That's it''

Danish - ''I hope you are right!'' (Looking at his watch) ''I gotta go, dude. See ya''

Raj waved him goodbye, and looked back at the scene in the room, where everyone was gathered around Abhay and Pia.

Okay.. here's a small part from my side, for now, but I promise I'll continue soon, or someone else will. Okay, so, Danish and Panchi don't know each other, yet..And they are students in the college.. And Danish and Raj belong to the same clan, (Preferably werewolfs) and they think that Maithali is disguised as Pia to take her revenge from their clan.. They have no doubts about Abhay whatsoever.

I just wanted to make this a little different from other stories.. where Pia is mistaken to be Maithali, and Danish is a part of the wolf clan! Lemme know if you like it =]
