Part 1—The Mehndi

Geet took her diary out and starting writing of her dreams

'Dear Diary,

I always thought that in my life someone would come, he came but I had to leave him. now Sonu is getting married and now im all alone. OK OK I'm lying I still have Nazii my moose but for how long. Nazii has someone too now. I've arranged her marriage with Vikas as we speak. His parents like her and she is fine with Vikas. When Nazi goes in a few months I'll be left all alone. But it wasn't my fault I had to leave him. I couldn't be with him. I still Love him. I can't be with him. I can't move on. What do I do? After Nazi gets married, I'm going to join a convent. That's the answer for my life. I can't love anyone more than him. I MISS HIM! I MISS YOU MAAN!

Geet then went wondering on the streets that evening, this was her favourite past time. Walking through the streets, letting the fresh breeze play with her hair under the moonlit sky. She went to her favourite place in the park and sat under a tree. She thought about her past and who she ran from. She didn't want to think about that. But her mind wondered to where he was now? What would he be doing? Has he forgotten her? But what he was she could never forget. Even though she loved him, she couldn't love him. She had to leave him for her own safety her sisters safety.

Geet returned back into Sonu's house not knowing someone was watching her, following her. The same pair of eyes which were looking for her for 6 months.
