Part-5

Maan looked deep into her eyes as he entered their room with love and hope. She just gazed in his eyes as if she is in a dream'

He slowly placed her on the bed. Geet jerked as her body touched the softness of the bedding.

Maan: geet , go fresh up' ..and ha, don't take much time. I am tired too'

Geet in trance just took the dress from him and went to the washroom'.. when she came back she saw him working on his laptop..

Maan looked at her face and a small chirp of smile appered at the corner of his lips: Geet, you sleep ok, I have something urgent came on my way, need to figure it out now .. he dig his eyes back into the screen.. with little hesitation she went to the other side of the bed and laid on her side. She was doing everything in trance, as if an automatic machine. She pulled the covers on her.. time just passed by.. as Maan done with his work, he placed his laptop to the side, looked sideways and found Geet laying facing away from him..

He went and got fresh up , tried to settle on the edge he tried to pull on the covers.. but the other end got pulled back out.. he turned and smiled.. he saw the space between them.. but the shining of the black beeds on her neck made him move near to her body.. she still laying on her side.. he felt happy that she didn't take that off as that is symbol of his hope now...

Maan's mind started flying off to the memories, she hitting his head with that stick, and finally pouring that water on his side.. and now, she is his, laying comfortably next to him.. he over streched to see her sleeping face, but he could see only the side profile.. his hands stretch out to turn her, but as if she heard his mind, she turned onto her back, '.. he smirked and looked at his sleeping angel face'..he propped is head with his right hand... smiled thru as he watched on her face, '.. he thought of her talks, her screaming. He wanted to pull her in his arms.. but he doesn't want to wake her up, also he doesn't want to embarrass her.. . the time was passing by. His eyes were wide awake. He didn't feel any tiredness.. he was with his Geet for last couple of days at the hospital, and before that he was struggling for a week, to get back to her, his mind was completely occupied by her thoughts and her hurting words..

But everything changed within matter of time. Now she is mine. I hurt her, she is hurt because of her condition now. But I will help you to come out Geet, I can't loose you anymore. I need you.. I am responsible for your loss too. But life is not ending here. You came to my life with so much sound, your voice gave me the energy to look at the days differently, your voice brought the colors into my life....but now you came back to me very silently, and I did all my pending works within matter of time. I just need you near by me, I just want to see you safe. I just want to start and end my day with listening to your heartbeat, because for me, now my heart beats within you'....You will realize it soon, and you will be back as my chatterbox, then I will hear your voice again.. .. he smirked again at that thought..

The loose hair was just fanning on her face and he could see the irritation on her face as she tightened her forehead. His slender fingers touched her hair and softly tucked that behind her ears.. but then suddenly, she turned to his side and wrapped her arms over his flank. He shocked, he felt the happiness.. he snuggled down slowly, and she just crawled into his curves and slept comfortably under his body warmth. His heart skipped few beats, he tried to feel her heartbeat near to his. hers was calm and rhythmic, but he felt his fluttery..... , he felt his eyes wet for a few minutes, he saw the bright red color on her forehead that remined him of her acceptance of him as hers... then with the happiest smiley face, he slowly wrapped his arms around her, he lay there looking into her face, so close'... he looked at her long eye lashes'... he thought 'are you dreaming?', he saw her pink luscious lips, and the charming cheek.. The moon was smiling up in the sky and the stars were twinkling'....Maan Singh Khurana closed his eyes with a very light heart after a long time, may be after so many years, as he felt the relief to all these years of agony and loneliness.. he dreamed of the night where she said to him

"Maan Sir, I think you are waiting to embrace the biggest happiness in your life" while saying that the rain dropes were tickling down her face and her body.. but he felt the embrace as she tightened her arms around his chest level'.... he smiled in his sleep.. he started dreaming after many many years'
