Naina: Shravan??

Rajveer's face turned helpless as his mother called out "his" name while Naina got totally confused for she had never heard this name before.

Naina: Shravan kaun hai? (looking towards Auntie) please auntie..tell me? (shrugging her shoulders) please..

Lata: mera beta hai Shravan..Rajveer ka bhai hai Shravan! (breaks into tears)

Naina: to aap ro kyun rahi hai, auntie? Ku..kuchh hua hai kya?

Rajveer: We don't need to tell you ke kya hua hai aur kya nahi. Please leave. It's our personal matter.

Lata: bata de use..kya ho jayega..(speaks amidst her tears) vo Shravan ne..

Rajveer: No mom. Who's she to interfere in our matters? Naina mujhse jitni dur rahe utna achha hai..

Naina: But sir..

Rajveer: Please Naina! Shravan mera bhai hai..vo tumhaara kuchh nahi lagta. Kis haq se tum ye puchh rahi ho ke Shravan ko kya ..

Naina: insaaniyan ke haq se. It's not called interference sir. This is humanity.

Lata: Rajveer please. (still crying) Naina ko batane na batane se kuchh nahi hoga. Naina, (looks at Naina and wipes off her tears) main tumhe batati hoon..(Rajveer's face fall down)

Lata: Shravan Rajveer se 3 saal chhota hai. IT ki training ke liye vo Pune gaya tha. Phir pata nahi aisa kya hua..uska mann padhai se hat ta gaya. One day, he called me and said, "maa, main software engineer nahi actor ban na chahta hoon. Main Bombay jaana chahta hoon." We all were against his decision but he was so adamant to his wish that we reluctantly agreed. We didn't even had choice. Now from two years, he's Bombay, searching for work. Rajveer ne use kitni baar samjhane ki koshish kari par vo samjhna ko raazi hi nahi tha. Kal uske dost, Varun, ka phone aaya. Usne bataya ke Shravan ne suicide commint karne ki koshish ki.

Naina's hand reflexly moves to her mouth. How could somebody do such a serious thing like suicide? Don't they even once think about their family?

Lata: rat poison kha ke..(starts crying again)

Naina holds her face and embeds it in her, providing her solace. Rajveer stands sticked to the spot, he had been earlier. He doesn't have a tear in his eyes, just plain blank expression. Afterall, he has a soldier heart and is strong enough to handle such cases. But thinking of his younger brother's death..no..no..he couldn't even dare to imagine. Forget about facong it lively.

Lata: (moving apart from Naina and wiping her tears) Vo hospital mein hai..serious hai..mujhe uske paas jaana hai..mujhe mere Shravan ke paas jaana hai..(sobs a little)

Rajveer: (comes and sits close to Lata, indirectly Naina) Mom, hum aaj jaa rahe hai na..please rona band karo..aur kuchh nahi hua hoga..you'll see!

Naina: jee auntie. Use kuchh nahi hua hoga..i am sure. Despite of everything, he's your son, he loves you. Vo aap ko chhod kar kaise jaa sakta hai?

Lata: hmm…(smiles slightly)

Lata takes Naina into a huge bear hug and finally, stops crying. Rajveer sees this and gueses that it Naina, the main source for consoling her mother. Fullstopping her mother's lamenting is a big challenge for anyone. But this girl, made her alright in a few minutes. This was something in her…something that made everybody attracted towards her..something that provided solace. Her presence is something that makes everybody feel comfortable. Thinking about "her", brought a big smile to his face…something that only she could bring.

He couls see..the beautiful sight in front of him. Her mother hugging her…?? Her what?? No.. she was nothing to him. What was he thinking? Stop it Rajveer! You shouldn't think about "her"…come on, think about something else..something important than "her".

His thoughts were interrupted by his mother's words and he was brought back to the world around him.

Lata: Naina?

Naina: jee auntie?

Lata: tu bhi mere saath chalegi na?

Naina: kaha auntie?

Lata: Bombay..mere Shravan ke paas! Chalkar use samjhana..tu jo bhi kehti hai na..sab umm…magical words lagte hai..tu use samjhane ke use aisa nahi karma chahiye.

Naina: lekin main?

Rajveer: haan maa, Naina kaise? I mean aaj hi sab vaapas aaye hai..aur aaj phir? Use chhuti nahi milegi maa..

Lata: Mujhe nahi pata..Naina hamare saath chalegi..bas chalegi..tujhe meri kasam!

Again. the "k" word, and he's forced to obey his mother. She tempts him too much. Actually, it is Rajveer who gets way too serious to such emotional blackmails. But actually it is heart..his love for her mother that is making him do this. Not to mention, love for Naina too, that is not accepting Naina to be away from him.

Rajveer: (sighs) theek hai! Naina, go and pack your bags. We are leaving in about 2 hours.

Naina: jee Sir.

2 hours later

Lata: chalein bete? (looking at Naina)

Naina: jee auntie..bas..(trying to pick up the heavy blue bag)

Lata: ruk..main Rajveer ko bulati hoon..he'll help you.

Naina: (hearing Rajveer's name) nahi auntie..main umm..(putting in full force) lo..uth gaya..

Lata: chal chalte hain..Rajveer wait kar raha hai..

"We are sorry sir", Pooja said accompanied by all other cadets, "hum ne sab kuchh sun liya tha"

Rajveer: Koi baat nahi. Aage se aise kisi ki baatein nahi sun na.okay?

A voice…actually, many voices followed up answering, "yes sir".

Rajveer: good. And don't forget to maintain discipline when I am not here.okay?

This time, a unanimous answer came up, "yes sir".

- achha ab chalein sir?

A voice from back (Lata's voice). Rajveer sees her mom coming with Naina and luggage. He hurries up till there and lifts the bags. In the lifting process, he slightly touched Naina's hand, who, in a reflex moved back.

Rajveer: chaliye mom.

And they (no, not lived happily after) left for Bombay…

k...so shravan is rajveer's brother.........why did he try committing suicide? I mean raj ka bhai to strong hona chahiye na........just for not getting job or maybe there was some other reason......hope the suspence is out in the nxt part............waiting for some rn moments.......
