Part 7

The song ended and everyone cheered. The girl and his friends were drunk so much that they were not able to stand properly. They came out holding each others hand when the girl's driver saw them and went towards them.

Driver: Gunjan baby....ghar chale bahut time ho gaya hai....madam gussa hogi...!!

Gunjan: Oh oh....driver uncle....don't worry...main hoon na....Nani ki to aadat hai....chalo...aaj drive main karungi....

Driver ( Scared): No baby....aap aaram se car mein baitho....drive main karta hoon na....

Gunjan: (making face): No.....I will drive....

Saying this she took the car keys gave flying kiss to all her friends and sat on the driver seat.

Driver was scared. Surely Suhasi madam would kill him if he allowed Gunjan to drive...but he had no option.

Gunjan started the car and raced it .....she was enjoying without noticing that the driver sitting next to her was praying for his safety.

They soon reached their house....where Gunjan lived for past 8 years along with her Nani.

Gunjan reached her house and pressed the doorbell......in few seconds a lady of around 60 years of age opened the door.....Her face was calm like lake and her gray hair tied in a bun. she eas carrying a suitcase in one hand and some keys in other.

Lady was Gunjan's Nani.

Nani: Mishthi, Yeh lo ghar ki keys....ab tum yahan aaram se reh sakti ho....

Gunjan who was drunk couldn't understand what are Nani was saying.

Gunjan: Kya nani...kya keh rahe ho?

Nani: Yahi ki sambhalo gahr ki keys...(saying this she made Gunjan hold the keys.....) ab meri yahan kisi k zaroorat nahin....I am going....

Gunjan (Surprised): kahan???

Nani: Tujhe isse kya?? Waise old age home hi chali jaungi...atleast wahan koi mujhe is tarah pareshaan to nahin karega.....

Gunjan:( now crying): maine aapko kab pareshaan kiya???

Nani: aacha...to yeh sab kya hai...(saying this she drags Gunjan inside house and takes her to the mirror)....dekh apni shakal....aisa lar raha hai...ki alcohal pani ki tarah piya hai.....theek se khadi bhi nahin ho pa rahi hai....aur pooch rahi hai...maine kab pareshaan kiya.....
aachan hua ki tumhari mom....yeh sab dekhne se pehle hi chali gayi...main bhi chali jaungi....(saying this she starts crying).

Gunjan( now started crying badly): haan haan....aap bhi chale jaoge....to main yahan kya karungi...aap ko to kuch bhi nahin pata.....(saying this she falls down).

Nani immediately runs towards her grand daughter....and wiped her tears....they had nobody except each other for the past 8 years after that incident which snatched her daughter from a mother and a mother from a 9 years old child.

She gently carassed her grand daughter's hair....she had taken a decision....she will not let her anger and hatred destroy her grand-daughter's life.

she will go back to India.
