Her dreams were a vivid mess,nothing made sense.She was standing in the crowd,but she felt alone.She felt as if no one cared about her,passing her by as if she did not exist.She felt the anger rush through her vains,she was going to break down.Never in her life has she felt so hopeless.She wanted someone by her side,someone to hold her hand and lead her through the fog.She stood frozen for awhile,with tears threatening to escape her dowy eyes.Then she felt it someone's hand slip through her hand and give it a gentle squeeze.Thats when she turned to look at the man beside her,It was Maan yet when she focused her eyes on his face she saw Ali.Slowly Maan brought their hand to rest on his heart,and then he disappeared.She faintly heard him calling her name,she spun around before becoming helpless and falling to the ground in tears.

"Geet"Maan shook her,it seemed like she was having a bad dream.Feeling the tears form in his own eyes he finally threw water at her.

"UFFFFFFFFFF"Geet woke up with a jerk feeling the water drip down her face.She glared at whoever it was.Even though her face were staned with tears,she was angry.

"Woh..umm"Maan said trying to control his emotions.Why did he have tears in his eyes?She was just having a nightmare.

"Woh..Kiya Sir.Aap itna hate kerte ho mujhse ke Apne thanda paani mere uper pekhe diya!Uff or woh bhi idher jahan pai AC on hai!"Maan looked at her and quickly said Sorry.

Maan had offered to drop geet off,since he would have to pick his mother up from her place anyways.The drive was pretty awkward,geet seemed to be lost in her own world and kept on thinking about the strange feeling in his heart.The streets were packed since their was an accident not to far,knowing they would have to wait here Maan turned his Car off.He looked at geet who was fidgeting with her duppatta,while biting her lower lip.Maan did not know what possesed him to do what he did next but he continued to do it.He brought his hands close to her lips,and gently pulled her lower lip to make her stop biting it.Geet was shocked,as soon as his hands touched her lips she felt her body shiver.Maan on the other hand was looking at Geet with such intensity that anyone who saw this would gently walk away,because they would not want to wreck the moment.He watched as her eyes lifted up to look in to her eyes melting him in the process.Maan Singh Khurana felt safe when Geet looked at him.He did not know why,but he liked the feeling.His face brightened up and he inched closer,but Geet realized what was going to happen and she pulled back before feeling confused.She looked at him once more and said she would find her way home,opening the door she ran out not caring about Maan who was yelling out her name.She ran home,and went straight to her room,not caring about anyone .She closed her door and slid down crying,she was so tired.She was so confused.Her dream,and then the way Maan was looking at her.She did not want to be bad luck to him.Wiping her tears away with her sleeves,she sat down and typed out her resignation letter,she was better off not being By him.She could not hurt him,she could not be the reason he dies.She opened the door and went to give the letter to Sanaya Aunty.Even Sanaya aunty looked sad seeing her in such a state.As she took the letter she gently gave her a smile and continued to talk to Mr Khan.Geet slowly headed back to her room and sat by her window,looking out at the sky.

Maan came to Geet's house trying to apologize to her.He asked Geet's mother about her,but she told him that she had locked her room and was probably sleeping.Closing his eyes in frustration,he took breath and asked his mother if she was ready to go home.His mother looked at him and without a smile,handed him the letter.Maan opened the envelope to find Geet's resignation letter,he froze in his spot and became more angry.Looking at the adults he told them he needed to have a talk with someone.Instead of leaving the house he headed up the stairs,and knocked on Geet's door.After a few tries he turned the door knob only to find the door unlocked.Walking in to her room he was hit by her strong scent.Her toxic scent.Looking around the room,he saw the walls filled with childhood pictures and drawings.In each picture,there were only two people her and what seemed to be Ali.Finally as his eyes fell on the window,he saw Geet looking at the sky,her hair had fallen out of her braid,her duppatta was gently flying with the wind.He looked at her and moved forward.He tried to Get her attention from far away,but she did not seem to notice.He sat infront of her and gently took her hands in his.Gently stroking her hands he looked at her face and wishpered her name.

"Geet You have to let someone in"

"I- cant"geet finally spoke.

"Why?"

"Im bad luck,if you come in my life you will die."Maan understood,geet blamed herself for Ali's death.

"No geet,You need to stop blaming yourself.Life and death is not in your hands,and Im sure Ali taught you that.If you keep on living your life like this you will never be happy,and I don't think Ali would like that.People come and go,it's life.You need to accept the bitter truth and move on.JUst carry happy memories with you.I know it hurts.I lost my grandfather a few years back.I loved him so much,I was practically raised in his hands.Don't you think I feel lonely too.?I am,but when I realized that daddu would want me to smile and move on in life.I became a stronger person.You are not bad luck.So many people love you.Let people have the chance to get to know you."

"No one will accept me Maan..no one...Who would wanna marry me knowing how much I miss my best friend..No one."With that Geet had ran out the door,Maan took a deep breath because was going to do something that would change both their lives.He looked around,and found something on her desk,something that Ali wanted her to be wearing.He headed out the door with the item in his hands.When he got to the bottom he saw geet siting by her mother and gently playing with her mothers sari.He made his way to the main where everyone was talking.He pulled geet out of the chair and in to the middle.Everyone exchanged worried looks.

"Geet tum kehti ho na ke koi tumhe accept nai kerai ga,tum kehti ho na ke koi tumhe Ali ko yaadon ke saath accept nai kere ga.Tum duniya main apne aap ko akela samjh ti ho na.Geet aaj se tum kabhi akeli nahi hogi."Maan said before pulling her closer and filling her maang with the most sacred powder,something that bonded together two people.Everyone stood frozen,but two people broke in to tears,tears of happiness.Mrs Khurana and Shilpa were proud mothers.It was an intense moment.

"Main tumhein kabhi akela nahi mehsoos kerne doonga,tumh jishe raha pai chalo gi,ushe pain main chaloon gi.Agar kisi bhi moor pai tum giri toh bare ke tumhe tham loon ga.Agar duniya se daar lage ga toh chupa loon ga tumhe inhe bahoon main.Aj se tum Mrs Get Khurana ho,meri biwi,meri izhaat,Aur mera jahan.Main tumhare dil ko eik asi dorr se seyoon ga,ke pir kabhi tumhara dil toote ga nahi.Aaj se tumhara dard mera dard hai.." Maan said as Geet stood frozen in place with tears falling from her eyes.Maan wiped her tears away,and was suprised when Geet pulled him in to a hug....😳😲
