Piya had one eventful night. She had so many questions going through her mind at Abhay's Mansion. Questions with answers she didn't think she had the stomach to digest. The cards were falling into place for her. All this was just another mishap among a chain reaction boiling away. She didn't know how to even ask Abhay what was going on in her mind. She found it beyond crazy. Maybe it was her overactive imagination. What a fateful night. Abhay had gotten back to her in a flat minute. It wasn't humanly possible to be in two places at the same time was it? Unless Abhay ditched Sheila to save her. All these conspiracy theories. Piya felt light headed but she was still in Abhay's arms. They were both dripping wet from the heavy showers. Piya looked down all she could see was a blur as if they were in a racing car going 200 miles per hour. Abhay took her up the stairs. He was her very own superman. Her Hero. Pia looked into Abhays eyes all she saw was concern written all over his face. He took her to the bathroom looking for a bathrobe.
Piya-"Abhay what about your parents?"
Abhay couldn't tell her they were hunting now could he?-"They won't bother U as they aren't home. Here take a quick shower to clean yourself and warm yourself up. I'll be in the next room sorting myself out."
Piya-"How do U know that they aren't home?"
Abhay could see she was fishing for info-"I'm alone most nights with their partying and interlinking with other business clients. Now go freshen up before i get in there and sort U out."
Piya flirted devilishly-"Then why don't U then?"
Abhay-"I'm warning U Piya if i get in i'm not getting out so do as U are told because I'm outta here." He was out in a flash.
Abhay went to the guestroom to take a superfast shower. As soon as the warm water ran down his body In those moments all Abhay could see was the love of his life in danger trying to save another. She angered him to the extent that he wanted to shake her. Scream till she understood what he was going through. Piya was well Piya always trying to save the weak and give them justice without bearing into consideration about her own welfare. His only consolation was that Piya was safe now away from danger. Abhay put on a white towel wrapped round his waist. He got out of the guestroom and he could sense Piya was well taking her time as usual. He didn't mean his threat to go in there because he could never turn down Piya's wishes. She would always get what she wanted. Even if that meant it was something he didn't want to give. Abhay wasn't sure how he was going to explain what occurred today because it brought out a can of worms he couldn't put back. He knew she had a million things going on in that pretty head of hers and he couldn't make some random thing up. There was no way of hiding his powers from Piya. He openly displayed them in front of her. Abhay lit the fire in his room for Piya as he never needed heat. He didn't dare get anything from Haseena's room she had a supersensitive nose for these things. Probably because they hungered for blood than he did. How was he going to explain all this to Chand the guy was an intolerable fool. He often butted heads with him on several occasions about Piya. She was the hot topic in their household. Abhay got out some of his Shirts and trousers for Piya.
Piya was sure that her mind wasn't playing tricks on her. Abhay always did a disappearing act on her then he'd appear out of the blue with no plausible explanation. He was her dark Knight despite his hair being dishevelled he still looked sexy as hell and he was enough to tempt a saint. So Piya knew she stood no chance. She looked at Abhay's collection of aftershaves all expensive. She saw how neat the white bathroom was with a square mirror. She could smell his scent. Was he back already? She slipped in and washed away the dirt sneezing away. She felt much better. She put on Abhay's bathrobe. Smelt like him. She began to feel his touch in her mind. It felt good to imagine Abhay with her all the time. She dried her hair and had it wrapped in a towel.
Abhay saw Piya come out. She looked better. He zoomed beside her touching her face. She was warm slightly flushed. He wondered what all that was about until he saw he was shirtless. Piya took a deep breath in. Abhay was driving her sense wild now. She'd already forgotten what transpired earlier. Piya realized she was lusting after Abhay. He took a few steps back while Piya seemed to be cornering him into a wall. Abhay gave Piya a nervous smile. She looked like she was sent from above. She never ceased to amaze him with her beauty lighting up his dark room. She was a firefly to him. He broke the silence between them.
Abhay-"How are U feeling?"
Piya was still eyeing Abhay like she was going to eat him alive-"Good thanks. I guess a warm shower did the trick. About Sheila how is she?"
Abhay-"I didn't ditch her anywhere Piya. U know that right? Anyway she is at Mount Hospital. They were keeping her for a few days for assessments. Other than that i don't know. I've been busy with U playing Nancy Drew hey? Do U know what i went through when i saw U fall? How could U be so wreckless? Without U i'm nothing. Nothing! "
Piya gave one of her innocent grins-"So she's safe?"
Abhay eyes were dark-"That's all U care about? Her safety! Your safety comes first for me Piya. I wanted to scream at U for endangering yourself. U haven't a clue what i do if U were no more. How your friends would react if U were dead. DEAD!"
Piya closed her eyes hearing the word dead-"I'm a good swimmer Abhay or i was a few years back. I would've been fine on my own. (Abhay gives Piya that stare which makes her change tack)I'm so sorry Abhay. I could only see her pain for that moment. The rest seemed irrelevant. It wasn't until i decided what i was going to do when i thought of leaving U behind. I didn't think about U until it was too late. I'm so used to looking out for me i forgot i would never see U again." Pia runs straight into Abhay's arms with fresh tears welling down. He felt so warm and sturdy like he belonged with her forever. "That is too much for me to bear. Abhay I Love U more than life itself. I'd die a thousand times over for U. For Us." She gave Abhay a kiss that started off slow but was packed with raw emotion leading to a different level with urgency. Abhay tore his mouth away to maintain some control. Piya was taken aback by the force Abhay used to pull away. He always was the first to break off contact between them. Again he was somewhere else. He seemed to do this a lot.
Abhay-"Piya we can't. U know go there.we mustn't forget our boundaries."
Piya-"Boundaries. Oh" Piya blushed bright red. He was killing her softly.
Abhay-"Never risk your life like that without U I am nothing. All this wealth i have is nothing to me. U are my prized possession Piya. U are the only woman i can ever love."
Piya recollected her feelings understanding where Abhay was coming from-"I know this Abhay. I feel the same with U like U are only mine. Abhay i need U to tell me what's going on with this picture here. I understand that U are always the first to react in a crisis. U saved me enough times. Now i keep running this image of U super speeding me to your home."
Abhay tried to word this as well as he could. He didn't want to freak her out.-"Piya there are things beyond anything U can comprehend. Trust me on this. I can't reveal the nature of who i am but i can tell U is i can do certain things like run at super speed. Nobody can know this. I am gifted with abilities that i can't even explain in full depths other than show U." Abhay runs around the room in front of Piya. He was half expecting her to run but she seemed impressed by his approach. In her past births he never reached the stage where he could confess what he truly was. That was an improvement.
Piya-"U think that i would freak out by seeing this. Abhay U don't really know me that well then do U. I love U even if U were not of this world because at times U seem like U were born in another time. Most guys would take advantage of a girl in their room dressed in their lovers robes. I get it Abhay we need to keep a boundary between us one U deem sacred but U could've taken me to my dorm room U know instead of bringing my hopes up about having your wicked way with me. I have a better idea one that won't break any of your morals Abhay we could just cuddle up U know."
Abhay-"After what U put us through i am having U under strict observation by my keen eye you little minx." Piya holds Abhay's eyes in a lock and jumps him on the bed just holding him. "Did i mention i can hear the smallest of sounds within 10 mile radius."
Piya-"Much better. U are finally opeing up to me Abhay. I hope Sheila is doing ok Abhay she needs a friend to lean on. I want to know who that creep is that did this to her? She needs all the friends she can get."
Abhay-"If she means that much to U then i will help her but U stay away from water. Who knows what you'll do?"
Piya-"I told U Abhay i won't do anything stupid. If it makes U happy i will give U a heads up. Now can we stop bickering and just enjoy this special moment we have together. Both of us alone in your room. It's so romantic. I love this room."
Abhay-"I know i love it even more now that U are in it."
Both lie in bed together just holding each other until the sun rises.
