Hey guys: Thank you for your lovely comments as usual!!!! Please guys do comment...as per your request...I spent the day writing up an update...this whole chapter is dedicated to Maaneeet!!!!!!!! So I hope you guys enjoy it and please please please silent readers do comment on the fan fic!! This fan fic is lacking behind the number of pages compared to my other two fan fics I know I sound gready but I make you guys happy with your requests..so please make me happy 😳😳

Chapter 14

Geet prepared Maan's breakfast and walked towards Maan's bedroom. Maan laid awake in his room looking at the celling remembering last night events. He didn't know what he was feeling but whatever it was he liked it. He didn't want this feelings to ever end. The thoughts of past day events with Dev got Maan restless...he promised himself that he would always protect Geet and help her out in time of need. He looked at his hand which Geet had bandaged a smile appeared on his face. He could still feel her touch and her closeness. Suddenly, he heard her footsteps coming towards his bedroom..he quickly covered his face with his blanket and pretended to sleep. He tried not to smile but couldn't help it.

Geet got nervous with each step that led her closer and closer to Maan's room. She thought about last night how she fed him and helped button his shirt. All night she couldn't sleep and with each thought she couldn't help but blush. She didn't know how to face him today. "Hey babaji, please help me" She hoped that his hand was better today and that he was able to eat by himself or else she didn't know how she would feed him with her nervousness. Before going in his room she took a deep breath "Ok just go in and act normal Geet" She placed the tray on the bedside table and saw Maan face covered with the blanket. She didnt know how to wake him up, she was hesitant to touch him.

Maan heard her entering the room. He listened to her each and every step very carefully to determine what she is doing. He could feel her standing next to him on the side of the bed. He told himself to control and not do anything stupid. Then he felt her poking his shoulder with one finger to wake him up. He had the urge to pull her on top of him...."She has to wake me up better then this"
Geet: Maan uthiye please

Maan didn't make any single movements...he didn't know how he is even controlling himself...then he felt the blanket slowly moving from his face "Ohh shit" He suppressed his smile as best as he could and hoped that he doesn't look like a crazy person with the weird expression his face was making with the effort to suppress his laugh.

Geet didn't know what to do..he wasn't moving at all... "he must be in really deep sleep" she decided to remove his blanket to see if he is all right or not. She was really scared to know his reaction if he wakes up remembering his anger from last night. But she had promised Dadima that she will take care of Maan and this house until she comes back. When she removed his blanket she saw his face. She checks his forehead to see if he has fever but she was glad that he didn't.
Geet: Maybe he didn't sleep last nigh properly...I will come back later and let him sleep for little bit longer...

He was so lost in her touch..he wanted to open his eyes and look into her eyes then he heard her saying she is going to leave "Damn I have to do something before she leaves"
Maan: Aahh my hand
Geet heard his scaream just as she was about to leave his room. She quickly sat on his bed and looked at him holding his hand tighlty. "Is it hurting a lot?"
Maan looked at her and tried to pull off my-hand-is-hurting look: Yeah, it does
Geet took his hand in hers and looked at it: Ok why don't you get freshen up and I will bandage your hand again...but first here eat your breakfast
Maan: Geet how can I eat the breakfast..my hand hurts...last night didn't you say you are here to feed me? Smiling at her
Geet looks at Maan: umm ji...(her heartbeats started to increase as she tried to feed Maan and wanted to leave the room as soon as possible. She fed him as fast as she can without looking into his eyes..Maan noticed her nervousness...
Maan: Geet lets spend the day outside
Geet looked at him suprised: Ji?
Maan: Ha I was thinking that it might be good if we get some fresh air
Geet: but umm your hand?
Maan: It got better after you touched it (winked at her and left for the bathroom)

Geet sat there shocked at what he said and his last words kept rining in her head...she then heard Maan yelling from the bathroom..."GEET GET READY BEFORE I COME OUT!!) Geet blushed and ran to her room..she didn't know what to do or what to wear...Geet decided to dress casual since they were going out...she went downstairs with first aid kid in her hands for Maan...

Maan came out of his shower and put on some casual clothings...his hand was doing better then last night..he was buttoning his shirt when he remembered Geet "hmm why should I button the t-shrit when she will do it" He smiled and left his t-shirt open as he made his way downstairs to the living room. He saw her sitting on the sofa watching tv while waiting for him.
Maan: Geet I need help with the shirt again (pretending that he can't button his shirt)
Geet stood up and Maan was so shocked to see Geet in her jeans and cute little minni mouse shirt...Geet noticed this.. "I thought I dress causal as we are going out"
Maan: ahem umm yea..my shirt (pointing at his shirt)
Geet tried so hard not to look at his chest and his six packs but it was so hard as his body was perfect..she buttoned up his shirt as fast as she can... "umm let me bandage your hand" after the bandaging was all done..
Maan: Geet are you ready to go?
Geet: Where are we going?
Maan: I don't know anywhere...we can go to the park and eat at some restaurant
Geet: alright that is fine
Maan: Ok then lets go

After a long day out they finally went to some restaurant to eat..both were starving by the time they got there...both liked each other company and it was so easy to talk to each other...
Maan: Geet can I tell you something?
Geet: yeah sure
Maan: I like our friendship....when I am with you I tend to forget all my problems
Geet: Yeah me too...I want to tell you something
Maan: hmm bolo
Geet: well umm after the case is done...I will move back to my house
Maan looked at Geet..he wasn't expecting that from her mouth: why? You don't like my or Daidma's company?
Geet: No, umm well the thing is...I think that it is best if I move out..I have to continue doing my education again and get back to my normal life
Maan: hmm you could do that while staying here as well
Geet: umm I will visit everyday...I could never forget Dadima's love that I received during my stay here...
Maan: what about me?
Geet looked at Maan shocked..Maan continued: I mean what about my friendship?
Geet: Of course I could never forget that...to tell you the truth you are my only friend here...I just go to school and come back straight home...you know the only thing that came good out of this kidnapping is our friendship
Maan: Geet its just that I don't want anything to happen to you again
Geet: I understand that Maan..but I like my independent..that is how I have been all my life...don't think I don't appreciate our friendship and the things you and Dadima have done for me..I really appreciate it and I couldn't thank you enough for that.. (She placed her hand on top of his)
Maan was taken back by her sudden gesture but he liked her touch: I understand Geet
Geet: besides now I know who to call if I land up in trouble lol
Maan: who? (pretending ignorance)
Geet: I think you know the person...
Maan: I do? How does he look?
Geet: A lot like you actually..exact copy
Maan: hmm then I must meet him
Both looked at each other and started laughing out loud...they didn't care if they were being loud or if everyone was staring at them...they just enjoyed the moment as much as they could...
