Think out of the box sweetie.. Maybe she was like going to a wedding and she planned to change into that dress and had it with her but then stuck in that situation with no other option she had to wear it.. 😛 We only see him giving her the towel.. The dress could be hers 😛
Part 10: But It Sounds Like!
"All right guys circle around!" Shravan stood up, clapping his hands to call everyone's attention; he waited impatiently as his friends appeared around him one by, each finding a spot in front of the bonfire he had managed to create on the beach. He beamed at them after they had all settled down, "Yay! Ok, isn't this fun?" he crashed to the ground, objective accomplished. The group lounged around the fire that Shravan had painstakingly built on the beach in front the hotel, no one really talking but settled in the happy silence that came with being with friends.
Sid had lain back onto the towel covered sand, eyes watching the stars overhead, Rhiddima joined him, their hands interlinking as they lay in comfortable silence. Nearby Arjun and Arohi sat up against a beach chair, her head tucked away in his shoulder, eyes closed like his. Shravan, tired from his fight with the fire, had strewn himself across his wife's lap as she gently ran her fingers through his hair. They were all exhausted after a day filled with sun, sand, surf, jet skiing, and everything else that came with vacationing on a beachfront hotel. After having a light evening meal, they'd all decided to end the night with a quiet night on the beach with a warm fire to fight the night's chills.
After a while Shravan sat up, pulling Saachi close as he spoke out loud, "so what are your plans?" he asked.
Sid craned to see him without getting up, "What plans?"
"Huh?" Arjun said simultaneously, eyes opening, "What?"
Shravan rolled his eyes, "you, Siddhant and Rhiddima, what are your plans?"
"Oh, umm I don't know shopping, lazing around, I guess," Sid replied settling back down.
Shravan let out a frustrated groan, "For your WEDDING," he clarified.
Rhiddima sat up and shrugged, "obvious na? Shaadi karenge aur kya?"
"Where, my dear," Saachi said, "is what my dear husband wants to know."
"Oh'" Rhiddima said, "That'"
"Is a surprise," Sid declared, sitting up too.
"What?!" Arohi exclaimed, eyes popping open, "not allowed, you have to tell us!"
"Yea guys," Arjun added, "how else would we prepare?"
Sid shrugged, "you'll know when it's all settled.
"You have about three months till then," Shravan groaned, "that's too long!"
"Exactly you have three months to prepare for the trip, don't worry we'll let you know when it's time."
Rhiddima and Siddhant smiled secretively at the gang, who scowled at them in return.
They all settled into silence again as the suns scarlet and mauve rays descended into the distant horizon, putting a fitting end to a wonderful day.

"Rhiddima, what are you doing? Koi ajayega!"
"Stand still Sid!"
"Rhiddima, stop please!"
"Here, hold this, wait no just take it off,"
"Rhiddima log kya sochenge?"
"What is that that supposed to mean, hum kuch galat thodi karahain?"
"We're both in a dressing room, I'm pretty sure this is illegal."
"I assure you it isn't; at least I don't think so'"
"O god, help me!"
"Why are these darn buttons so tight?"
"Probably because you're not supposed to be taking them off in dressing rooms!"
"Well then how do they expect people to try on new clothes?"
"Ok, well, other people aren't supposed to be taking them off of people in dressing rooms!"
"Sid just take it off already!"
"You take it off!"
"Fine! I will! Siddhant stand still!"
"Rhiddima, baby, jaana. This cannot happen if I stand still!"
"This will only work if you stand still!
Shravan, Saachi, Arjun, and Arohi stood wide-eyed before the dressing doom. A small stall nestled among two others, it was placed in the way back of a local Goan clothing store. The two couples stood shocked into stunned silence, no one had the voice to call out to their veiled friends. Shravan's hands moved to cover Saachi's ears as disputable cries and groans came from within the room. Arohi's mouth fell open and Arjun was quick to smother her with a crushing hug, cutting off all peripheral senses.
Shravan and Arjun exchanged looks, stilling as voices again came from the stall.
"Rhiddima let me do it na, you can't do it all by yourself."
"No stand still!"
"It's hard!"
The two men exchanged another glance, on one hand they were horrified, on the other hand they felt their male pride begin to surge up. Quelling his pride, Shravan finally managed to speak up; his usually soft voice shattered through the store as he screamed, "GET OUT!"
Siddhant and Rhiddima fumbled out of the dressing room, faces bright pink as they realized what their flabbergasted friends were bound to be thinking.
"BUTTON!" Sid shouted out, Rhiddima nodded fiercely in agreement, hair bouncing up and down.
The other two couples looked even more bewildered, "What?!" Arjun asked.
"Button-broke-she-I-sew-we" Sid stumbled over his works wanting to clear up the misunderstanding as quickly as possible.
Shravan took a deep breath, massaging his forehead, "Sid. Calm down. Explain."
"Iswearweweren'tdoinganything!"Sid shouted in panic.
Rhiddima nodded once again, "his button fell off- see?" she held up a tiny white button, matching those lining Sid's shirt.
Saachi, Shravan, Arohi, and Arjun stared at the small trouble-maker blankly, and then roared in laughter.
"You guys," Arohi gasped, "would not believe what we were thinking!"
"Yea," Arohi affirmed between laughter, "God Rhiddima couldn't you have done that outside?"
Rhiddima bit her lip, looking inquisitively over to Sid, shrugging her shoulders in chagrin.
The two couples were still laughing and drawing attention as they escorted Siddhant and Rhiddima out of the store, Sid's shirt lying unbuttoned and revealing his toned torso. His face was pink due to the appreciative glances random women sent his way, irking Rhiddima to no end. He kept shaking his head in disagreement each time Rhiddima caught a girl looking at his and looked to him with suspicion. In this manner the group reached another store, where Sid gratefully donned the new shirt Riddhima chose so that they could head to the beach.
Pointless? Yes, he decided, since they were about to head to the beach, but necessary if her temper was concerned. And he couldn't do anything to hurt Riddhi.
Or get her mad.
He was yet to decide which one was worse.

Riddhima yelped as Shravan and Arjun yanked her into a corner of the hotel longue. Unknowingly Sid, Arohi, and Saachi walked on towards the restaurant, lost in discussions of what movie they should see that night.
"It's all set!" Shravan whispered excitedly.
"There are even fireworks!" Arjun added with glee.
Riddhima looked at them confused, "what?"
Shravan rolled his eyes, "Sid's birthday party!"
"Oh!"
"Yea'"
"Awww! You guys are so cute!" Riddhima reached out to pinch their cheeks; a disconcerted Arjun and Shravan didn't react at first, turning to each other silently as if to ask if that just happened.
Riddhima stood before them grinning, her face as bright as the sea blue sundress she had on. She was excited now; the boys had arranged a party! "When is it?" she asked enthusiastically.
Shravan and Arjun stared down at her blankly, rubbing their cheeks where she had grabbed them, "huh?"
"Party! When's the party?"
"Oh, right," Arjun said coming out of his stupor.
"On his birthday, duh!" Shravan said, "Tomorrow night, it's gonna be like a bonfire thingy with food and cake. Oh, and fireworks!"
Riddhima bounced with incitement, "oh! Idea!" she said with a sequel, "everyone pretend like they forgot! And then Sid will be all excited because of the surprise! I'll tell Saachi and Aru!" With the final word, Riddhima bounced off, enthralled with the promises of an eventful night in the future.
Arjun turned to Shravan, "food and cake?" He asked with a curious gander.
Shravan turned to him with a sly smile, "She doesn't need to know about the beer dude, that's for us."
Arjun and Shravan turned forward with self satisfied smirks, sauntering towards the gang.
...

"No stand still!"
"It's hard!"
